I really don't like Argentina or Holland, they're full of divers, cheaters and foulers. They both need to get out asap.
The extra time of Belgium vs USA was probably the best extra time I've ever seen. A cracking 30 minutes of football. Actually disappointed for USA as they didn't deserve to go out. Their fans should be proud of that performance.
The referee standards haven't gone up at all. I can't remember a major tournament like this where the refs have been so shit.
I keep hearing that Brazil have "the twelfth man" because of the home support. I don't know about that. Their twelfth man tonight was the referee.

IMO this is Netherlands' year. You heard it here first. By far the best footballing nation never to have won the Cup. They lost the final last time against Spain, then destroyed Spain 5-1 in their opener this year. Also, their match vs Australia was epic and one of the most fun matches I've ever seen in me albeit limited football watching life 🙂
I really wanted it to be Colombia's year but it wasn't to be.
I think Netherlands will get it too - but Belguim would be cool too.

Brazil got it in the bag, they haven't been the best team but crowd is too much.
I dont think Brazil will do it. Without Neymar, I see an average performance against Germany.
Half the Brazil squad have been hit n miss. Jo and Fred have been terrible, Marcelo is good one day, shit the next. Apart from that one free kick Luiz has done nothing special.
Neymar was the only consistent one and he's out.

Neymar wasn't anything that special anyway. Same with Messi, they get closed down way too quickly to be effective. All four teams are lacking, I haven't see one obvious winner yet, but I think Germany and Netherlands are good enough to make the final. I hope so anyway, that would be awesome.
It feels like whoever wins the Germany/Brazil match is gonna take down the whole tournament, but I'm still pulling for Netherlands 🙂
Well done Germany. I told people at work today that I thought Germany would destroy Brazil but I never thought it would be like that. I was thinking more along the lines of 3-0. Glad to see Brazil lose though. Their foul play through out the tournament has really put me off them, and once again they were lucky not to receive a good few yellows, especially for diving.

It's really pathetic how Uruguayan captain Lugano and the south american press in general are defending Suarez and brushing the incident off.
The pictures not only clearly show Suarez putting his mouth into the shoulder but also there are pictures of the actual bite mark. The response from South America? "That "bite mark" is an old scar"... ridiculous.
