Cena must have the best record in LSM matches he has to be undefeated. Both the mid card titles are on the line v credible opponents too which is a good sign.

There was a time when last match standing matches were pretty good... they called them texas death matches... one that comes to mind right off is Vader vs Cactus Jack from wcw halloween havoc 93... it's a great match but the ending is stupid.
I'm pretty sure Cena will win his 208th LMS match.
I just looked up Cena's last man standing record and I'm pretty surprised. He's only at 2-2, with one no contest. He beat Umaga at the 2007 Rumble and Batista at Extreme Rules 2010, lost to Edge at Backlash 2009 and Del Rio at Vengeance 2011, both losses with outside help. Last year he did that ridiculous through the wall spot with Ryback.
I'm going into this one with some hope that Wyatt will finally beat him, although it's not very likely. The positive is that this is last man standing and there are three guys to lay him out, they could have done their other favourite stipulation match, I quit, which Cena will never lose (he's currently 4-0).

The only time Cena will lose an I Quit match will be when creative finally send him heel, I think. His current gimmick is far to much of the 'never give up, never surrender' type. He really is basically a marine.
Anyway, I hope Bray beats him though, I think he needs a major win over Cena, if nothing else but to advance the storyline frankly...
It's nice actually to see legitimate champions with the secondary belts too. It's been too long since they were given any real spotlight, and with D-Bry out for a bit, diverting attention towards these belts is a decent move too IMO.
Wonder what else they'll pull out for this one.
4CW Hall of Fame Class of 2018. Triple Crown Champion 2020. 2 times Universal, 2 times Tag team and 1 Time World Heavyweight Champion.
Wrestler of the Year 2017, Champion of the Year 2017, Most Improved 2017
2 new matches added. Neither exciting in any way and actually drag the card down. Thankfully one of them will only be on the pre-show which I don't watch.

So t was the I Quit match I was thinking of, I knew he was undefeated in some sort of stipulation.

Yeah, faces don't lose I quit matches. Imagine how much shit we'd give him for his 'never back down' gimmick if he had lost one.

So Hornswoggle's going bald, then.

Thanks Taker_2004 for the banner!
It would be cool if they did what the rock did to mankind in their 'i quit' match.
he recorded mankind saying it, and they dubbed it in at at crucial time. It was cheesy at the time, but also hilarious.

They did that finish for Cena v Miz too, but waved it off mid-match when Alex Riley dropped his phone. That dumbass.

Maybe they'll have Bray Wyatt kidnap cent's plastic girlfriend and threaten her if he doesn't quit.
It's last man standing, not I quit!

I thought it was a decent show.... really enjoyed the Cena/Wyatt match... figured Cena was likely going to win so i just went along for the ride... the shield vs evolution was alright i guess... it was kinda like homoerotic torture porn though. 😋 but it was nice to see the shield get the sweep... i honestly thought when i noticed it was 10 minutes till the show goes off the air they weren't going to have a real finish and that would just end with the a horrible beat down that would have been ...bad for business.
i was also making jokes about CM Punk having a police escort across town during the blackhawks/kings game intermission to appear in the DB/Steph segment since it all was falling together in the same time frame... but yeah i really didn't think that would happen... that hockey game was amazing.
Was a decent enough PPV for sure.
Thought the main event was odd though. Enjoyed it very much, but was just odd. No holds barred, they started off with a mass brawl and then turned it into a standard tag match letting their partners get beaten down. There's no DQ, get in there an help them out! It's like they forgot that there's no DQ and only remembered again 10 minutes later and so went back to a mass brawl, breaking up pin attempts and all that.
I can half get on board with trying to make it more like a tag match for some of it, as it adds to the length of the match instead of dividing fans attention all over the place for half an hour solid. But I can't understand why they'd ignore the no DQ part for that section. Ambrose was having the crap kicked out of him for a few minutes straight, and the commentators even mentioned how he needs to make a tag because of it. One of the other members could have got in there and helped him out, drag him to their corner to make a tag. It really is like they forgot what kind of match they were in for a while.
So far, Payback is looking like it'll be a good PPV. As off today, there are 4 matches announced. Cena should lose this one, but I have doubts that he'll lose in a LMSM. He shouldn't be beating Bra 2 PPV's in a row.
