A video package plays from the first MEWF Danger Zone.

Pyro blasts erupt from the stage area and all around the massive video screen, welcoming you once again to the Danger Zone!

Teddy Long’s music hits to bring out the General Manager. Long dances out on to the stage and proceeds down the ramp and into the ring. He raises the roof to the crowds delight and grabs a mic to address the fans.

Long: Holla! Holla! Holla! You know it’s the Danger Zone up in here and we ‘bout to set it off. Last week we made history by starting a 16-man tournament for the World Championship. We are down to eight men now and to keep the competitors in top condition, I am giving them the week off to recover. I want the best possible matches happening in MEWF and letting these top level athletes rest a week goes hand in hand with that idea. That being said, we are going to continue making history by starting another tournament. This is an 8-man tournament to crown the first ever MEWF United States Champion!!

The crowd roars in approval for this announcement. A small “Teddy” chant can be heard from the top of the arena.

Long: The eight men in the tournament are: Petey Williams, Justin Gabriel, Kazarian, Shannon Moore, Magnus, Roderick Strong, Tyson Tomko, and Joey Mercury. Now just like the World title, the finals of this tournament will be held at the first MEWF pay per view event, Inception. Without further ado, let’s get the show started!!!

Long’s music plays again as the GM exits the ring. He greets some fans as he leaves. The camera switches to the announce team of Michael Cole and Matt Striker.

Cole: Welcome to the Danger Zone! I’m Michael Cole and with me in the booth is Matt Striker. Matt, after last week’s kick off to MEWF and the World Title Tournament, how can we top that?

Striker: I’m not we can, Michael. However, with tonight’s line up, I know it will be close.

Cole: That’s right, Matt. We have the start of the United States Championship Tournament tonight. Speaking of which, let’s go to the ring for the first round match.

Match 1: Petey Williams vs. Justin Gabriel United States Championship Round 1:
Petey and Gabriel start the action with some technical chain wrestling. They open up more as the match goes on. Petey takes control midway through but Gabriel back body drops out of an attempted Canadian Destroyer to reverse the momentum. Gabriel hits a top rope spin kick to put Petey down. Gabriel goes for the 450 but Petey gets his knees up. He calls for the Destroyer again but Abyss’ music cuts him off. Petey looks to the ramp to see the monster coming down the ramp holding a table under his arm. Gabriel uses the distraction to roll up Petey for the win.
Justin Roberts: Here is your winner and moving to the second round of the United States Title tournament, Justin Gabriel!!

Gabriel quickly exits the ring as Abyss enters and starts hitting Petey with rapid fire punches in the corner.

Cole: Oh my god, Matt! Abyss is pounding Petey into mush!!

Striker: This is payback for last week when World Elite cost Abyss his shot at the World title!

Petey rakes Abyss’ eyes and starts to fight back but he hits the rope and runs right into the Black Hole Slam. Petey is out on the canvas as Abyss goes outside and sets up the table. He re-enters the ring and drags Petey out onto the apron.

Cole: He can’t be serious!

Striker: Good thing Petey gets free medical care in Canada because it looks like he’s going to need it in a second!

Abyss grabs Petey around the throat and looks to chokeslam him through the table but as he lifts Petey into the air, Eric Young appears almost out of nowhere to hit Abyss with a low blow.

Cole: Thank goodness Eric Young got here in time, I thought he was going to end Petey’s career! Now get out of here guys!!

Young helps Petey  up to his feet on the apron. They both pull Abyss up to his feet and the World Elite members jumps with Abyss off the apron and double slam the big man through the table and onto the floor. Young is yelling in Abyss’ face as Petey leans on the guardrail for support. Eric then helps Petey to the back as the EMTs attend to Abyss at ringside.

Striker: I can’t believe what just happened. World Elite has taken out Abyss two weeks in a row. This week is worse than last week.

Cole: That’s right, Matt. I don’t think Abyss is in any condition to chase them down right now.

Abyss refuses to get on a stretcher and the EMTs struggle to help him to his feet and start to walk him to the backstage area. The camera goes backstage to Matt and Jeff Hardy talking.

Matt: Hey man, I just wanted to congratulate you on advancing in the World title tournament. I wish I could have moved on too but Swagger took the cheap way out.

Jeff: Yeah man, he was totally out of line pushing you into the ref like that but the dragon’s only carry you where you have yet to see yourself going and when you get there, you’ll know where you are supposed to be is really and truly where you want to be.

As Matt tries to make sense of his brother, Mr. Anderson walks in with a confused look on his face. He stares at Jeff and starts to say something but thinks better of it and turns to Matt.

Anderson: Look. I’m not even going to waste my time and brain cells trying to talk to your brother. Do you even know what he is talking about? I’ve heard of chasing the dragon but that’s more of a heroin term and I thought he was more of a weed and pills kind of guy.

Matt is visibly angered by Anderson’s comments. Jeff doesn’t seem to care. He closes his eyes and starts feeling around as if he can see through the painted eyes he has on his face. Matt addressed Anderson.

Matt: Listen good, Ken. My brother may have his quirks but he is twice the wrestler you ever were. As a matter of fact, that talent runs in the family so, unless you want to back up your talk in the ring, I suggest you walk away.

Anderson: Walk away from a fight? You gotta be freakin’ kidding me! I’m an asshole and I don’t walk away. If you wanna go, I’d be more than happy to take care of the “other” Hardy Boy, tonight. What do you say? You got the balls??

Matt: I have more balls than you could dream of having. You’re on. Come on, Jeff. Let’s go.
Matt grabs Jeff by the arm and leads him away as Mr. Anderson just shakes his head. As they walk away, Jeff can be heard talking to his brother.

Jeff: Hey, Matt. I can see with my eyes closed. Check me out.

Matt: That’s great, Jeff. Let’s go get you some food.

Jeff: Do you think they have dragon food in catering?

Matt: (Sighs) I don’t know, Jeff……

Match 2: Kazarian vs. Shannon Moore United States Championship Round 1 –
Kazarian controls early but Moore makes a comeback and the two trade high paced offense. Moore tries a springboard dropkick but Kazarian dodges. Kazarian goes back to work with a variety of high impact kicks and suplexes. Moore makes another comeback and sets up for a top rope move but Kazarian crotches him on the ropes. He climbs up with Moore and nails the Flux Capacitor for the win.

Roberts: Here is your winner and moving on to the second round of the United State title tournament, Kazarian!!

Kazarian exits the ring and walks to the top of the ramp before turning around and checking out his handy work. We go backstage to the locker room of Zack Ryder. Ryder and Velvet Sky are getting cozy on the couch watching the show. Ryder looks impressed by Kazarian.

Ryder: Babe did you see that move? That was SSSSIIIIICCCCCKKKKK!!!

Velvet: You’ve got better moves. In and out of the ring….

She leans in to kiss Ryder when the door opens and standing in front of the couple is Robert Roode. He’s holding his hands up to show he means no harm. Ryder stands up at the ready as he obviously doesn’t trust the “It Factor”.

Roode: I’m not here to fight, Zack. I’m just here to give you a friendly heads up. Next week, when we face off in the World Championship tournament, it’s going to take more than some flashy moves like that to get past me. So, you better come prepared because you are looking at the first MEWF World Champion.

Ryder: Listen, Bobby. As my boy, Biebs would say, (Singing)Alllllllll I need is a beauty and a beat! (Talking again) I got my beauty right here and next week you are going to feel the beat when I fist pump your face!!

Roode: Right. Zack, you’re a joke and next week I’m gonna show the world that it pays…..to be Roode.

Roode turns and leaves as Ryder blows him off and sits back down with Velvet Sky to continue watching the show. Back in the arena, Matt Striker is standing in the ring.

Striker: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, the Phenomenal AJ Styles!!

Styles’ music hits and AJ walks out on the stage. The crowd joins him in doing the P1 hand sign. AJ high fives the fans as he walks down the ramp and gets into the ring. He shakes Striker’s hand and grabs a mic of his own.

Striker: AJ, last week you had in my opinion the match of the night in defeating Mr. Anderson. Now you move on to the second round of the World Title tournament. Your opponent this time is the Big Show. How do you plan on getting past this giant and continuing on in the tournament?

Before AJ can answer, Big Show’s music hits and the giant walk down the ramp and gets into the ring. He grabs Striker’s mic and points to the announce table. Striker takes the hint and exits the ring, leaving Show and AJ alone. Show speaks first.

Show: I gotta hear this. Come on, AJ. Tell everyone how you think you can beat me? I’m 7’ tall. I’m 450lbs. I’m a certifiable giant and you are just a little man. So please, let everyone know just how you think you can beat me.

Styles: You’re right, Show. You are a giant but as the saying goes; the bigger they are the harder they fall.

Show: That’s it? That’s what you’ve got? Do you know how many times I’ve heard midgets like you say stupid crap like that? Do you know what happens every time? Those little men with the big mouths end up knocked out.

Styles: That’s nice but there ain’t nothing small about AJ Styles! I’ve got the biggest heart, the most talent, and how are you going to knock someone out that you can’t catch?

AJ smacks Show across the mouth. Show is shocked by this and swings the WMD at Styles but AJ ducks and smacks Show again! Show swings again, twice this time but dodges them both and returns fire with a third open hand smack to the face of the giant. AJ slides out of the ring and runs to the top of the stage as Big Show stands in the ring, unable to catch him.

Styles: Hey, Show! The question shouldn’t be how am I going to beat you, it should be how are you going to catch someone who is simple phenomenal?

Styles’ music hits as he does the P1 hand sign again. Show is irate in the ring as he kicks the bottom turn buckle numerous times. AJ leaves and Show is slow to follow. Show is screaming at fans on the way out as AJ’s music stops and the camera goes to the announce team.

Cole: Wow! You are lucky Show gave you the chance to leave because I would hate to be the unlucky guy who runs into him backstage.

Striker: I don’t know if there is another man alive that is scarier than Big Show. I don’t know if AJ made the right decision just now. You poked the bear with a stick and now you have to deal with the consequences. Show’s going to have a whole week to let this anger sit in his belly and next week he’s going to let it out on AJ Styles.

Match 3: Magnus vs. Roderick Strong United States Championship Round 1 –
Magnus and Strong lock up and break away numerous times to start. Magnus keeps looking toward the stage as if he’s waiting on someone. Strong takes advantage and assumes control of match. Strong works the back and ribs with various suplexes, rib and back breakers. Magnus can’t seem to keep focused on the match. Every time he breaks free and connects with any offense he continues to look around with paranoia. Strong continues to beat down Magnus, setting him up for the Death by Roderick but Magnus breaks out and rakes Strong’s eyes. Magnus rolls outside the ring as the ref checks on Strong’s eyes. Magnus snaps and pulls at his hair. He yells at the stage “Come on Abyss!” but no one comes. Magnus settles down and turns around right into the Last Call superkick from James Storm, who came in through the crowd. Storm ducks under the ring as the ref turns his attention to Magnus and begins to count him out. Strong is confused but pleads with the ref to count faster. Magnus starts to stir at 8 but can’t make it in the ring in time as the referee reaches the 10 count and calls for the bell.

Roberts: Here is your winner by count out and advancing to the second round of the United State championship tournament, Roderick Strong!!!

As Strong leave, Magnus rolls back in the ring but Storm is quick to follow him.

Cole: Magnus just got robbed of his chance to become the US Champion!

Storm waits for Magnus to turn around and once the two men catch eyes, Magnus tries to bail out of the ring but Storm drags him back in and starts to beat on him. Petey Williams tries to make the save but Storm whips him into one corner and Magnus into the opposite corner. Storm hits Petey with a running clothesline and then does the same to Magnus. He runs back with another clothesline to Petey. He turns to run at Magnus again but he is met by a steel chair to the face from Eric Young.

Striker: Déjà vu happening here. Just as World Elite took out Abyss earlier, they do the same to James Storm now.

As Storm lays on the mat, blood running down his face, World Elite exits the ring. They get to the top of the ramp and Young grabs Magnus and Petey’s hands and they raise their arms in unison before leaving the arena. We leave the carnage to go backstage where Matt Morgan is talking to Crimson.

Morgan: Man, there is no way I’m walking away from the tournament with anything less than the World Title around my waist. I have been looked over too many times by WWE and TNA and this time I’m calling the shots. This tournament is the best chance I have to get the gold and no one is going to stop me.

Crimson: Yeah I hope so, bro. You gotta watch out for guys on the outside. I wasn’t expecting Velvet Sky to cost me my match against Ryder but I turned my back for one second and it was over.

Morgan: Yeah that sucks but if anyone is dumb enough to try and screw me, they will wish they were never born.

Crimson: Don’t worry, Matt. I have your back. I’ll be in your corner to make sure no one tries anything funny.

Morgan: I’m sure I can handle it but if you insist, I won’t turn you down. The less I have to worry about the better. I’m out of here man. I am going home for a couple days to rest and I’ll see you at the show next week.

Morgan and Crimson pull the bro hug and Morgan exits the arena through the back door. The camera follows Crimson as he walks back towards the locker room but from behind, Jack Swagger chop blocks his leg out from under him and applies the Patriot Lock. Crimson screams out in pain as Swagger cranks the ankle over and over before letting go. Crimson holds his ankle in pain as Swagger grabs his face.

Swagger: You aren’t going to interfere in my match and let me ask you this, how is your buddy, Morgan going to hit the Carbon Footprint after we break his ankle? WE THE PEOPLE!!!!
Swagger pushes Crimson head back to the floor and walks off. We go back to the arena.

Match 4: Tyson Tomko vs. Joey Mercury w/ Shannon Moore United States Championship Tournament Round 1 – Tomko dominates Mercury early and doesn’t let up. Mercury only gets short bursts of offense in before Tomko takes control again. Tomko nails Mercury with a big boot he calls the Chainsaw Kick and calls for the pin. Shannon Moore jumps in the ring and hits Tomko from behind and the ref calls for the bell. Tomko reverses and hits Moore with a Chainsaw Kick as well.

Roberts: Here is your winner by disqualification and moving to the second round of the United States title tournament, Tyson Tomko!!!!!

Striker: After that performance, I have to saw that Tomko is the favorite to win the US title at Inception.

Cole: I’d have to agree, Matt. Just a dominating performance by the Problem Solver. Wait a minute, I’ve just gotten word that there is something going on in Teddy Long’s office. We have a camera back there.

We go to GM Long’s office and World Elite is in there. Eric Young is yelling at the GM.

Young: Teddy, you better do something about this crap. I will not stand for this any longer. We had two matches tonight and both times my guys got screwed out of their chance to win the US title. What are you gonna do about it?

Before Teddy can speak, James Storm busts in with dried blood on his face and drives Young into the wall. Storm is punching away at Young but Petey and Magnus pulls him off and hold his arms while Young punches him repeatedly in the open wound on his forehead. Just then Abyss bursts in the room and throws Petey and Magnus away. The 5 men begin brawling and security rushes in to break it up. They put World Elite on one side of the room with Abyss and Storm on the other. Teddy stands in the middle.

Long: Hey!!!!! Knock that off now! If any one of you throws another punch, you will be suspended immediately without pay.

All the men calm quickly at the threat made by the GM but security is still at the ready.

Long: Now, I will not have my show taken over and ruined by you 5 men. This will not happen again. Listen playas, I know you want to get at each other in the worst way and all of you deserve another shot at gold without someone interfering. So Abyss, Storm, you guys take the next couple of weeks and each of you find a partner. World Elite, you need to select two of you to team up again the other two team and at Inception for the first MEWF World Tag Team Championship, we will have a Triple Threat tag team match for the belts. But, if any of you get involved in any other matches besides your own between now and Inception, you will be out of the title match. Now get to steppin’ playas.

Cole: What an announcement by the GM. We now have a triple threat tag team championship match with World Elite vs. Abyss and his partner vs. James Storm and his partner.

Striker: It should be interesting to see who Abyss and Storm select as their respective partners.

Cole: That it will, Matt. Well, it’s time for the main event and this match was made earlier tonight when Mr. Anderson challenged Matt Hardy after a run in backstage. Let’s head to the ring for the main event.

Main Event Match 5: Mr. Anderson vs. Matt Hardy – Hardy opens up on fire, taking the fight right to Anderson. Anderson uses the rope break to buy some time. While the ref pulls Hardy away, Anderson sucker punches Hardy and takes control. Anderson tries to wear Hardy down with a side headlock but Hardy fights back and retakes control with a Side Effect. Hardy hits the second rope leg drop for a nearfall. Anderson bails to the outside but Hardy follows and tries to whip him into the guardrail but Anderson reverses Hardy into the ring steps. Anderson rolls in the ring and the ref gets to an 8 count before Hardy joins him. Anderson with a suplex. Anderson continues to control the match hitting the Green Bay Plunge for a close two count. Anderson taunted Hardy with the Hardy Boyz hand sign before missing on the Ken-ton Bomb. Hardy quickly nails the Twist of Fate for the win. Hardy celebrates in the ring as the screen goes black to end the show.
