UEFA quashed Chelsea's attempt at blackmailing Atletico for playing Thibaut Courtois in the games. If Courtois was to play, Chelsea said you've got to give us 3m euro per leg. I really hope Atletico win the whole thing, they are the best bet out of the lot. Usually whoever knocks out Barca win the whole thing anyway. I think it's gonna be Real though, getting the 'decima' has become their identity and they seem to want to throw all their chips at the big one.

Real v Chelsea final. Real to win 4-0.

Athletico are between a rock and a hard place. They want courtois back next season, and I don't thing Chelsea will send him back there if they play him.

I think a niggling back injury will keep him out of both legs..

I don't see how something agreed between the two clubs makes Chelsea scumbags. It's standard practice in Europe, that's why you tend to see loanees playing against parent clubs in Italy and Spain, for example. It's stupid that rules like that don't apply in England, another way for clubs to use financial loopholes to their advantage.

In terms of the draw, it's an excellent one. Two very interesting ties. The romantic in me wants Atletico to go through and win the whole thing. They won't be anywhere near this kind of level next season so winning the tournament perfectly caps their golden period. Add a La Liga title to the mix and it's a story to rival the very best.

However I think it will be Real v. Chelsea. I love a good story to a football match and two teams, managed by former coaches of the opposite team in a stadium named after the old stadium which was home to one of the best of all time, sounds great to me.

I could hardly find anyone before tonights game saying that Real would win. All seemed to be saying that it would be Munichs night and they'd show how good they are.

In reality, Real showed how good they were and demolished Bayern in Germany. Who would have thought that Real would have won 4-0 away from home? No one. Great performance and they thoroughly deserve to be in the final.

While not much people predicted it I don't think it's so surprising Real won the leg, no one ever retain the Champions League for some reason. The suprising thing was they won 5-0 on agg and beat Bayern 4-0 in the Allianz, although Bayern's home record in Europe isn't perfect they seemed to just wither to Real. Dortmund put up a much better fight even with all those injuries.

Real Madrid looked great in the match yesterday and I can't look past them winning the whole thing, about damn time too last season was their first Semi Final since 2003(2?).

I thought they'd go through, but then I thought they'd draw or sneak another 1-0 win. I never expected them to go there and attack. Neither did Bayern either it seemed.

Question is though, who joins them? Will we see an all Spain final?

Damn I wish I did put money on the Madrid teams winning I would've made £150.

Atletico just packed Chelsea away 3-1.

Real Madrid were 2 minutes away from losing tonight only to go on and win 4-1 in extra time. Very flattering scoreline.

Fun game. Real dominated extra time. Great comeback.  Atletico came a minute away from Champions League/La Liga double.

Bale won it for them, Ronaldo hammered in a formality of a fourth and celebrated like he was the hero. Almost as dickish as John Terry putting on his kit and boots to join the team for the trophy presentation.

If I scored the final goal in a Champions League final, in the stadium of my boyhood club's main rivals, I'd celebrate like that too.

Atletico really looked like they were running on fumes for the last 20 minutes of normal time. The gamble playing Diego Costa was a bad one, they needed that extra sub for fresh legs late on. The Mail & BBC have got articles up saying how great Bale played, apart from his goal he was crap, missed lots of good chances & couldn't break the defence down. Di Maria on the other hand played a blinder, he ran the Atletico defence ragged with his dribbling.

^ That's what I'm saying, Ronaldo and Bale were pretty crap minus their goals Di Maria was running the show for Real making everything happen. I still don't get how Di Maria, Bale and Ronaldo all fit in one team but I guess there enough quality. I really wanted Atletico to win even though their style is terrible, every time I've watched them this season they look really dirty doing loads of fouls and dives and time wasting.
