It was a good Raw, but as I had said in my other thread, I think they delivered the right results, but the method in getting the results were a little flawed...
It was a good Raw, I wouldn't say it was the best Raw I had seen though, maybe that's because it just didn't seem to live up to the hype of a Post Wrestlemania Raw... The first Hour, the crowd were hot... then they kind of seemed to get bored a bit and they became a normal Raw Crowd.
It's late so I won't go into details (like I'm sure Belly will!) but this may have been the best Raw I've ever seen. A little light on wrestling, but I'm fine with that. Everything they did was excellent, with the sole exception of a throwaway Santino segment. But even that was over with quickly! Great crowd reactions, excellent storyline progression, some surprises, new faces, fresh directions, less emphasis on the old guard...just great stuff all round.
All it was missing was a Taker promo. I'd have had him say a few words about hanging the boots up, then the surprise Sting debut where he tells Taker "there's one last thing you have left to do before you can rest in peace."
