Was surprised to not see Bryan at all. After Steph's speech I was expecting him to turn up during Triple H's promo time.
I can't help but laugh every time I see the Wrestlemannia sign. It's the child in me. I see Wrestlemannia XXX and I think "Wrestlemannia, the porn parody".
Well, that would certainly add an extra dimension to the Divas championship match... 😋

Well it must be Wrestlemania Season, because here it is, for a second week in a row... My Raw Thoughts... Usual disclaimer applies, this isn't a review of the show per say, it is simply my thoughts I will type up whilst watching the show.
HOUR ONE
Highlights last week of Triple H reminding everyone that he was an excellent heel and of Stephanie acting like a real McMahon, and also providing enough possible doubt with D-Bry defeating Trips at WM by injuring his shoulder, and giving D-Bry an even bigger mountain to possibly climb.
Raw kicks off with Stephanie coming down to the ring announcing that D-Bry won't be on Raw tonight, which usually means that he will be there at some point.. Ending last week's show with D-Bry and Triple H and starting this week's show with the same, shows that this story alone is the biggest story going into Wrestlemania, not Cena, not Randy, not Batista and not the WWE Title (well until D-Bry gets into the main event). Steph wasn't saying anything new though and the fans seemed to get bored by this, as they chanted WHAT and CM PUNK etc... Although the interesting statement within her speech was that "Triple H is the most important MAN in WWE" something that may not sit well with Vince who I imagine will return on the Raw after WM... Out comes Randy and the fans show how they are not interested in him and what he is saying by chanting for D-Bry, Steph tried to calm them down, but you get the feeling, no one cares, maybe the BORING chants gave that away?? Then out comes Batista to a huge ovation, not of cheers but of jeers and boos... Randy wants Triple H to not get in the Main Event, Batista tells everyone he will win, blah blah. Batista insults Steph and she slaps him then leaves and Batista spears Randy.. Can tell the fans are not bothered in either of these 2 though, Batista comes across a lot better than Randys whining does though.
A Number 1 Contender match for the IC Title next with Ziggler, Christian, ADR and Sheamus in a fatal four way... I was definitely in agreement with the fans and wanted Ziggler to win this match.. hard to believe it is nearly 1 year since the post WM Raw when the crowd went crazy for Ziggler winning the World Heavyweight Championship by cashing in his MITB briefcase... The crowd is hot tonight, gotta love places like Brooklyn... Christian pinned the star of the show and wins the match, which kinda killed the crowd instantly. Was a good match though
Bray on the screen, gets a cheer, but in Brooklyn especially, Cena is going to be hated.. and yet another good promo by Bray and can definitely see why Mick Foley started the hash tag on twitter #BetterMankindThanMinkind
The new Sin Cara is out next with a man in the Scooby Doo costume, advertising the new Scooby Doo Wrestlemania Mystery cartoon.. The new Sin Cara is taking on Sandow and he gets a quick win over Sandow, still got the dodgy yellow lighting though..
Ryback and Axel taking on El Conquistadors next and out through the crowd comes an angry looking Shield, distracting Axel as Los Matadors sorry get the win and now the Hounds of Justice do what they do best, and what they have not done in a while, and they take apart both Axel and Ryback.
HOUR TWO
Michael Cole kicks off the second hour in the ring for an interview with Triple H... starting the second hour, with the same story they started the first... Daniel Bryan... keeping him fresh in the minds with the fans. Was a interesting and logical interview with Triple H, saying how people don't like what they ask for, and saying in essence he is 2 different people, The COO and then there is the Cerebral Assassin... Was a good interview I guess for what it was.. Got his point across.
Fandango is out next as Summer Rae's valet takes on Cody Rhodes and Goldust comes out doing the Rey Rey bit by giving a mask to a kid lol.. Goldust has a comedy moment with Summer Rae outside by having dance off with Summer Rae which distracts Fandango and Cody disaster kicks him for the win... The Rhodes brothers still remain united, so i guess the dream Wrestlemania match between the 2 is off... maybe they push it to Summerslam
Hulk Hogan is out next to a great crowd response and out comes Arnie and Joe from Sabbotage, Arnie gets on the mic and talks and then asks Hogan if there is room in the Battle Royal for 2 more and out comes Miz who is going to be the obvious lamb to slaughter here... and sure enough he is, a punch off Joe, a back hand off Arnie and thrown out of ring by Hulk..
Big Show vs Titus O'Neil is next and its an easy win for Big Show, the crowd got bored half way through and chanted for CM Punk yet again...
HOUR THREE
John Cena is out next to take on Luke Harper with Bray sitting at ringside... was a typical match, Harper doing most of work and just as Cena got on top and lift Harper up for FU, the lights go out, some commotion in the ring and when they come back on, he is tied up in the ropes with Eric Rowans sheep mask on and Bray Wyatt and Eric and Luke surrounding him.. the crowd chanting This is Awesome as it goes to adverts.
Funkadactyls are out next and then comes AJ... time to fast forward.. bored now already.. Stopped quickly as AJ leaves the match early and is stopped as she tries to leave by Vikki who announces the Vikki Guerro Divas championship invitation as AJ is competing against Naomi, Cameron, Brie Bell, Nikki Bella, Natalya, Eva Marie, Emma, Aksana, Alicia Fox and Summer Raw and Rosa Mendes and Layla and Tamina.. leaving AJ feeling very insecure as everyone stares on at AJ.
Next, the final Hall of Fame inductee is announced and its none other than Scott Hall - Razor Ramon!! Jesus was that Ladder match really 20 years ago on Wrestlemania X... Got chills watching that highlight package, brought back some great memories...
The Shield are out next to take on The Real Americans and it was a good match with 2 teams that I go like and they definitely put on a good show and an enjoyable match to watch with some good individual moments and The Shield pick up the win.. Topping it off with Cesaro being triple power bombed through the announce table and the face turn continues as the crowd cheers more and more for them. Out comes Kane and The New Age Outlaws as its announced at WM 6 man tag team match is made, although a bit weird seeing Corporate Outlaws, dressed in suits...
Brock Lesner is out next, coming down to the ring with Paul Heyman and Lesners top is pretty cool reading, EAT, SLEEP, BREAK THE STREAK haha... Paul does a great job on the mic, playing down that Brock will beat Taker and stresses more on that when he does, it will not demean the achievement of going 21-0 at WM etc... and its Heyman alone that is making this feud going into WM... Lesner then grabs the mic and stops Paul talking and says he isn't here to promote, he is here to fight and calls out the Undertaker.
The eerie music begins and out comes the druids and the smoke begins as they roll down to the ring, in true undertaker style, a casket.. Its a shame Wrestlemania isnt made into a Casket match, as it would add that something a little different that the match needs so its not just an obvious win for Taker and gives that bit of extra Theatre as its been a while since we had a casket match..
As the Druids leave the ring, you can see the ring apron moving by the casket, so im guessing Taker has gone under the ring? as the casket has a veil around it so u cant see under it..
Lesner tries to show no fear but kicks the casket and backs off then goes again and repeats... Heyman screaming not to play his game... eventually the casket is opened by Lesner and is empty... Lesner goes to confront the druids but they all back off, Heyman saying it's all a joke... Lesner not happy saying he isnt here to play games etc... After Heyman insults New York, the Casket magicaly opens again and laying in it is The Undertaker who sits up.. Shock Horror... Heyman screaming for Lesner to run but he doesn't, but Lesner is acting scared...
Undertaker has a mohawk, or at least the start of one... He beats on Lesner and clothesline him to the outside... The show ends with Taker in the ring staring at Lesner..
There really was no D-Bry... wow..
Was actually a half decent Raw that I didn't fast forward much except the Womans match...
