Yeah, same here. Just hope they don't give the '1' to Lesner...

They won't. I think we can all assume he'll never lose it after over 20 years.

I hate this match up. No doubt that it'll be good, possibly even a great match. But there's no way Taker should or will lose the streak. Which means yet another loss for Lesnar. He's meant to be this special attraction, a dominant force, etc... yet he loses so much that it's hurting his character. When he loses at Mannia he'd have lost 3 of his 7 PPV fights since returning, and he's not exactly looked better than who he's been fighting booking wise.
This should have been his loss. There was no reason for him to lose to Cena or to Triple H, and they didn't need three matches with H. He looks no better right now than Show, Kane or Henry do then they decide to push them for a month or two.

Lesnar winning it would be pointless anyway. He doesnt need the boost. He's only a part time guy himself.

Exactly. He'd have looked a real threat to beating Takers streak then if this was going to be his first loss. As it stands though, there doesn't seem anything special in beating Brock now.
If you could have booked Brock's return, how would you have done it? I'd have done something like these:
Extreme Rules '12 - Defeats Cena
SummerSlam '12 - Defeats Triple H
WrestleMania XXIX - Defeats Randy Orton
Extreme Rules '13 - Defeats Sheamus
SummerSlam '13 - Defeats CM Punk
Royal Rumble '14 - Defeats Big Show
WrestleMania XXX - Loses to Undertaker
I don't care that he's just gone through my entire main event scene. He can go on to challenge for the title anyway, losing to Undertaker isn't a real loss.

Losing to Undertaker won't hurt him. It's almost become a match that exists in a alternate world; you go into the event, beat up on the Undertaker and have him make a comeback and eventually defeat you.
You then move on. As far as Lesnar is concerned, his Cena loss was different from normal losses in the sense that he lost concentration and paid for it, in his first wrestling match in 8 years v. the main attraction of the past 10 years. The HHH loss wasn't necessary but the guy has hardly lost momentum coming out of that.
Regarding the Streak, he will likely go 22-0 here and if all goes to plan, 23-0 v. Sting next year. They (WWE) should be creating a star to build over the next 2 years and have him go over Undertaker at Wrestlemania. My pick is Roman Reigns. If Undertaker is to retire, he has to lose that streak and put one big star over big time. It's how it works.
That will never happen. The Streak is too much an integral part of history now. He'll never lose, whether he should or not. My guess is the closest we'll get to the streak losing is his opponent in his last WM will get some sort of sign of respect from Taker ala Jeff Hardy a few years back before Undertaker disappears into the darkness forever... or something like that.
And honestly, I don't think anyone should beat him.
Whoever it is, whether it be Daniel Bryan or Roman Reigns or even some guy who hasn't debuted yet - they would be under incredible pressure to be the next big star that they probably won't be able to cope with, even after beating Undertaker, not to mention the fact that if it all goes sour for them (which happens all too often in wrestling) then that historic streak, that will never be matched, would have ended for absolutely no reason.
Having someone come inches away and losing the match - but having Undertaker show them some kind of respect and "passing the torch" before retiring is the only way I see it going down. Of course that's IF he wrestles another WrestleMania after this, which he may very well not.

I would've used him to put someone like Reigns or something over. I'd of done something like this:
Extreme Rules '12 - Defeats Cena
SummerSlam '12 - Defeats Sheamus
WrestleMania XXIX - Defeats Triple H
Extreme Rules '13 - Defeats Triple again
SummerSlam '13 - Defeats CM Punk
Survivor Series '13 - Defeats Kane
Royal Rumble '14- Wins WWE title
WrestleMania XXX - Loses to whoever wins the Rumble
This way he's a legit beast and he certifiably puts someone over as a huge star at Wrestlemania. Him vs Taker means absolutely nothing at this stage, they're both part timers so all there is is Heyman talking crap every week to hype up the match.

Surprised no-one has done a post on this yet...
Anyway, Raw saw the surprise return of both Brock Lesner and The Undertaker, and it seems all the speculation going on this past couple of months has been wrong.
Quite a cool intro for Mr Calaway, stabbing Brock with a pen, and definitely the highlight of the night as far as I'm concerned, but I wonder weather Lesner can actually work a match of this caliber. I was really hoping for a great match up when he went after the Big Show but all we got was a 10 minute clobbering session with a steel chair. I really hope things will be different at WM30, but I have my doubts...
