Evolution of your User Name

Always been Benjawi. Goes back to my college and Uni days where usernames were set as the first 5 letters of your first name and the first 2 of your last. Just kinda kept it going since then - it's the name of my Web development business.

Only other one I use sometimes is bem, which is all down to a bowling game I played years ago and the 'n' button would work so I angrily hit it and it finished my name as bem instead of Ben. Figured fuck it and left it as it was and all my mates spent the rest of the week calling me bem.

I started out back in 2004 bc Mullet Superior told me too. I signed up as some ridiculous HBK diehard fan name, which Mullet made fun of me and told me to immediately change it bc I'd be made fun of. I settled on Latinoheat87. HBK was my favorite wrestler but at the time I thought Eddie Guerrero was a hoot to watch and I used to make people laugh when I'd randomly perform his antics in class. I was that for a long time and then the forums changed. I went to Mad Dog in 05-06 bc I was really only on 4w for 4cw, but that didn't last.

I had a few random names I can't remember from when I tried to start over with 4CW. I was last recently M-Dizzle bc I was asked to return by Belly for the "new" 4CW and didn't honestly think it last, so no thought went into that name (Mad Dog = M-Dizzle). Then when we opened up this forum I figured I'd just return to the original roots while keeping it simple hence LHeat87.

Oh, 87 as in 1987 is the year that I was born 😉

I'm a huge fan of Jurassic Park, it's one of my all time favourite films (the other 2 are a different matter ....).  When I first got the internet back in 2000 I was looking for rumours about a possible Jurassic Park 3 film (using the Lycos search engine I belief!) and lo and behold I found that a Jurassic Park 3 was being made.  It was sooooo excited!!!  I found a Jurassic Park fan site with regular news and rumour updates about JP3 and signed up. 

I was always a fan of the compsognathuses in Lost World, so I wanted to call myself Compy.  But that was taken, so I decided on Compy-Raptor, being a mix of the compsognathus and velociraptor.  Only I typed quite fast and somehow forgot the - and capital "R" and typed Compyraptor.  The name stuck and I've used it elsewhere, including 4w when I first signed up back in 2004 (I think it was, in April or May?  I dunno).  Then the epic MSN chats started and everyone called me Compy for short, so when we first migrated to the new forum I just used that.

So I've ended up going full circle and back to my original intended username!

Mine is quite boring. Used to be Rhysus2009 (or whatever year I registered) just cos Rhysus was a name I had in school and stuck. Still to this day dont know why I was called that.  When we rejoined this site I just picked rhys cos thats how everyone here knew me.

I was watching TV in what must have been about 1999, Star Trek Voyager was on and as I was flicking through someone referred to Chakotay as "Commander Chuckles." I thought it was funny, and so when I signed up for ICQ later that day, or maybe the next day, I stole it. A few friends at the time used some wacky tags on their names for some Quake or Unreal team, so I stole those too and became ={ChuckleS}=, which stuck for a year or so until I got sick of typing it and condensed into [chux]. I used that for years, but a lot of other websites and games didn't accept square brackets and other people had used chux, so I had to change it a little occasionally, like on Twitter, so I added 4w like Wilcutt4w used to. Now I tend to use this more than [chux] because it's always available, so I figured I'd use it here too.

These are fun stories...  i still recall mine in part because 4w helped me take on the name Snake!

Its not really a secret if you know me that i'm a fan of the Metal Gear series as well as Snake Pliskins' character in the movie Escape From New York...

so i had lurked 4w for about a year and then in october of 2004 i decided to just sign up and post everyone seemed polite and i felt like i could fit in with everyone on here.

I didn't know what to call myself so i used my then email address name Shakedown guy or something like that... i was 21 and still coming out of my teenage years and was a hippie pretty much..i still am but i just grew up and learned how to take a shower 😋

So after a couple days perhaps weeks i got bored with my generic name based on an email... so i took to 4w and made a thread asking for help on a name (noobish shit there) i honestly can't remember who it was... it might have been Andy (pretty evil) who said why not just snake? after i said how about snakedown guy.

I liked it and stuck with it... i added the ! at the end in the spirit of MGS games whenever an enemy would detect something was off a ! would appear over their heads.

and that's pretty much where my story came from... 4w named me.

on a side note i loved the married with children name... i recall that episode too Bud was awesome... was that by any chance the same episode that revealed his first name is actually Budrick?

classic tv show i prefer the older stuff like up until season 4 or 5 until Steve left the show... i liked Jefferson too but after a season of him it was kinda meh.... i still really enjoy that show and watch it whenever i see it on.

When I first joined in mid 2007, I signed up as SPECIAL 1 because I am a Chelsea fan and thought it would be the easiest thing to remember. After a while, some guys here like Snake, Andy (prettyevil), Rhys and Jay (Snake's brother... I've forgotten his 4W name) called me Imty and asked why I didn't use it on 4W instead.

When I signed up for this version of 4W, being an adult now instead of a 17 year old trying to fit in, I went with my name.

I'm getting back on my feet after a lazy 3 weeks of X-Mas holidays. A couple weeks and I'll get back to you definitely. I miss our movie nights, it's your choice (I haven't forgotten about making you watch some European horror movie that me and Andy were going gaga over but you didn't like at all... I'll remember the name one day) so recommend whatever and I'll make time for it.

I have recorded Evil Dead 2 from the TV schedule so any time you're up for it, I'm willing to give it another shot. I'm not a fan of any of the Evil Dead movies which puts me firmly in the minority so watching it with a guy who is a fan of the late 70s-late 80s horror could help me understand what it's about. And I hear it's the best of the franchise so yeah. I'll Facebook message you.

I can try i don't think the evil dead films are the greatest or anything, i like part 2 though... it's basically just a remake of part 1 but just more of a comedy like army of darkness.

The movies you guys were watching i have nothing against but i'm better off watching those movies on my own i get distracted easily... i know its not the same thing but i tried watching Once upon a time in the west with people and shut it off about 45 mins in everyone was bored because it's such a quiet film i ended up watching it the next day on my own while my girlfriend was napping and really enjoyed it and i doubt i would have as much with company.

I might have started off as bfp4life or bfpthedon? I switched to BigUnit51 after Randy Johnson retired from baseball. When I went through my crazed Mr. Anderson mark out faze I had my name changed to Anderson's Asshole. I ended up going with bigfloridapimp which at the time and for a long time was my name for everything. Mind you all these names came from mid 09 to mid 2010. When we went to the new free forum for a half second, I might have had some odd name but I dont remember what it was, I might have been drunk. I think I caved for about a week once and allowed my name to be changed to Beefy. For the longest time I hated that shit, fuckin' Tickler called me that once and it snow balled. Funny enough that cunt who I love so much and wish would come back, Eastdog showed up there a couple times and now half that forum calls me Beefy...

Alas... I have come around to Smokey Bear, or SmokeyBear51 on the off chance Smokey Bear is in use. Combination of Buford T. Justice's handle in Smokey and the Bandit and Randy Johnson's number 51. bigfloridapimp was created by putting 3 words into the suggestion boxes on Yahoo when making an account to play pool. But it was my name. Well, I'm not 13 anymore and I much prefer Smokey Bear. Although before I came up with this, I did make my Xbox account as BigUnit51. lol.
