During the update there's been some changes to the way that Private Messages work.
One is that you can now sent messages to more than one contact at a time.
Another is that you can block private messages from certain people. There's a new contacts section and if you put someones username and tick the 'Refuse privates messages coming from this contact' then you shouldn't receive any messages from this person.
The big one is a background change. The old system was using three database tables which would get quite heavy on my server when people are using them a lot. The new change means that only one database is being used now which is much nicer. Only problem is that all your previous messages are gone. Not gone for good though - I have them all and I'm trying to see how easy it would be to load them all back in. It's a bit difficult though due to going from 3 tables to one. So in the mean time, if you want a post let me know and I will dig it out and sent it to you. I have them all on my server just in case someone wanted to keep one or two of them around.
