I didn't see Arsenal, but a draw has to be a disappointment. Spurs were pretty bad though. Not that West Ham were anything too special, it took them a long time to get anywhere, but when they did Spurs went to pieces. I said on Friday that if the top three aren't the top three come Monday they'll only have themselves to blame. Well Arsenal and Liverpool are still there...

Good weekend for Manchester too. Both sides pulled one out of the fire. Looks like the table is on it way to settling a little bit. We just need Southampton to stop their overachieving and we'll be back to some kind of normality.

Considering they beat United at OT last week and didn't play midweek, a draw's a good result as we're still top going into international break. We've played a lot of our players without rotation pretty much since August, but we've got Cazorla back next game, with Podolski and Walcott coming back for Dortmund hopefully. It could be worse.

United and Liverpool both lost at home to teams they should've beat. I don't think Spurs are titles contenders but they can afford a loss at this moment, I dunno how many Internationals Spurs have so their played could have a good rest before the next round begins.

You're not disappointed about a loss to West Brom? With the form Arsenal have been in lately? I would be. You are on top right now, but not even on goal difference. There's very little between you and Liverpool. Liverpool!

Exactly why I'm not panicking, it's Liverpool.

Plus I guess it's cos we owe a draw sometime it's been all wins and 1 loss, it'll be back to the status quo once we're back from internationals. Plus West Brom are far from a shit team.

I just looked at the table and I see the only teams we've played who are above West Brom are Spurs and Villa- a win and loss- and those were both Pre-Ozil. I can't wait until the cycle of Chelsea, Dortmund, Liverpool, Dortmund again and then United comes. It'll show what we're really made of.

Yeah, that's a pretty solid string of games. You're right, it'll show what you're made of...but that might not be such a good thing. We'll see!

Yeah, Chelsea is the league cup so I can see us dropping out of that one. We have a strong second 11, but Chelsea have a second 11 that's better than most first teams. And we're in a good position in the CL so we can afford to drop points vs Dortmund in the away leg. Liverpool and United are beatable tho, I haven't felt that way about United in years.

Newcastle 2 - 2 Liverpool
Arsenal v Nowich
Chelsea v Cardiff
Everton v Hull
United v Southampton
Stoke v West Brom
Swansea v Sunderland
West Ham v Man City

Arsenal just scored the goal of the season in the first half, would recommend anyone to go search it up. Liverpool lost to Newcastle earlier today, all matches still in progress apart from West Ham vs City which kicks off at 5.

Emphatic win for the Swans, and we needed it. 4-0 helps our goal difference and our confidence. Great stuff.

Man Utd fucked up again... if I were a fan, I'd be a little worried.

Great day for me today, Arsenal destroyed Norwich with some beautiful goals. I'd seriously suggest watching at least 3 of the 4 scored. Not to mention United and Liverpool both dropping points, all i need is for Spurs and City to lose and Imma start the week smiling.

The amount of young players Man Utd have had and let go for them to make it somewhere else is getting silly. Paul Pogba, why did they let him go? He had Giggs & Scholes' seal of approval but Fergie let him leave for Juve where he's a first teamer at the age of 20. Adem Ljajić is tearing it up in Serie A for Roma. He's Eric Lamela's replacement and has already bagged 3 goals in 5 games and they're top of the league. Zoran Tošić is doing well in Russia for CSKA Moscow, they won the league last season. Robbie Brady who switched to Hull in January seems to be a young, talented winger who can also score in the Premiership. We've all heard about how potentially great Ravel Morrison is/will become in the future. They let Zeki Fryers slip through their fingers and he's ended up at Spurs. They're now pinning all hope on Adnan Januzaj to be the second coming of Ryan Giggs.

They should of bought Kevin Strootman in the summer and paired him in the middle with Pogba. Carrick's a good player but he's knocking on, Cleverly & Anderson are crap. Nani blows hot and cold like Valencia. They paid £13m & £16m for them. Then they obliterate that and blow £27m on Feillaini who's never consistent. Young is nowhere near good enough for Man Utd. Kagawa who is decent never gets a game, Zaha is not good enough yet according to Moyes. He played all of pre-season & the charity shield but now isn't Utd quality. Waste of £15m.

The only way to properly accommodate Kagawa in that United team would be to drop Rooney, who's the most important player bar Van Persie. You could see it last season with Ferguson experimenting with him in midfield, which was what all their beef was about. I think the problem was Fergie not thinking he could bed in youngsters whilst trying to stifle City and win the league a few more times before he retires. However, Morrison would've ended up in jail if he stayed in Manchester.

Also, their defence is shocking, relying on Ferdinand and Vidic who are past it and still waiting for Phil Jones to develop into at least a starter quality player. There should be an established 3rd CB that benches Ferdinand by now.

It's looking to me like if Arsenal can keep up this form it'll be Arsenal, Chelsea and City competing for the title. With Ferguson now gone teams and refree's will stop pulling their trousers down for Man U and go their looking for a win for the former. Liverpoo

Lol United.

Good week. Having Arsenal and Liverpool as our main title competitors is fine by me. I've had enough of United and Chelsea, it's nice to have a bit of a shake up.

Good of some Spurs fans to ruin a good win today. Really is stupid to throw a flare at someone, yet alone a linesman. What makes it worse is that it was just after Tottenham scored, so it's not like he'd just made a major game changing wrong call - wouldn't have made it any more right though if he had.

Just wiped the floor with Liverpool, the mighty Arsenal go 5 points clear at the top. It's lonely up here.

Thanks to Newcastle I might add. We were brilliant in the second half to put 2 past Chelsea.

I just watched the highlights so I can't really judge to the fullest. However, I dunno what Chelsea were playing at today. They should've really swept Newcastle to the side but let them take the game from right under their noses, Mourinho s at his best with an experienced side so the inconsistencies of these early 20 somethings is gonna get right under his skin. Great win for Newcastle though.

First half they could have won it. Second half though Newcastle were by far the better team. Didn't expect it at all, but was a brilliant second half. Chelsea should be disappointed that they didn't score in the first though, but Krul didn't have much to do all game to be honest. Only actual save he made was about 10 minutes from time, whereas Cech had to make a few good saves.

Arsenal outplayed Liverpool, they were all over them. I expected a lot more from Pool, it's harsh to say this was their worst game all season but it probably was.

City. That's all.

Our first 11 can beat any team in England, lightwork.

City beat the shit out of a crap Norwich team, but if that was Norwich away they would've probably lost. I don't see City winning the league until they can play away effectively.

I thought I would have woken up to see Jol had been sacked or resigned this morning but he's still clinging on. The Palace win and Kasami's wonder goal seemed to paper over the cracks but last weeks match against Southampton showed how bad they are. 1 shot all game, 0 on goal, 34% possession, it would have been better if they didn't bother to turn up. 2nd best against Leicester in the League Cup with a full squad featuring most of the crap, Jol bought in the summer. Then 3-0 down at home within 20 minutes yesterday. They had a go in the 2nd half but thats because Man Utd took their foot of the gas.

It certainly wouldn't surprise me if Jol was the next manager to go. Fulham have been quite poor this season, and even when they win they still look poor.

I've read some funny things since yesterdays games.

Firstly Liverpool complaining about a disallowed goal. Wouldn't have been a goal anyway. For starters the ref had blown his whistle and so had to book Sagna in that instance if he was going to show the yellow card - it's not like playing the advantage and doing it later, the ref had blown and so was a break in play. Then you have that the Arsenal players clearly heard the ref blow again before the cross was put back in so they all relaxed and didn't try to defend it. The keeper would have got it easily otherwise just by stepping forward 1 foot - you could see that he wasn't even looking at the ball as he was looking at the ref.

Secondly there's Cattermoles read card. How can that not be a red card? Studs showing, late and was quite a strong tackle. Could easily have broken the guys ankle. Red card all day. Only complaint Sunderland could have is that Hull should have had a red card as well right at the very end as their player lunged in on Johnson - not that it would have made a difference as it was practically full time.

I don't wanna talk about it, I'll just say this.

It was a game of two halves, and Cardiff scored in their half.
