Not so much of a Review, but just some thoughts I am having whilst watching Raw about each match or segment etc haha....
Well we start out with Ryback coming out and blubbering on top of an ambulance where he never mentioned the fact he should have won at Extreme Rules etc and then goes on to challenging Cena to an ambulance match, which Michael Cole seems to take as gospel after the segment, so I guess there is no need to accept the challenge, Cole did it on Cena's behalf... Ryback just bores me on the mic, he can only say things in very short sentences before he has to pull a funny face and take a breath like he can only say 10 word without running out of breath... And he tells us he is going to take Cena and the crowd to the morgue, I guess this just became a Coroners Van Match... Do we get to see the winner perform an autopsy on the loser?? not very PG haha...
I just cant get behind or even to care about in any form, Fandango... I just don't understand Vinces fascination with him, or anyones elses fascination with him, his logo reminds me of Disco Inferno and he just seems to like try and be a cross between Rick Martell and Val Venus, and cant seem to even reach those standards.... You can tell by the way the match finished that WWE are not even interested in the match itself, as the camera was still focuses on Fandango when Miz got the Figure Four Leg Lock on Barrett...
Sheamus O'Neil would have been alright if it wasn't just a way for Sheamus to have a match and win without it really hurting any other singles wrestler, not interested in the Great White really...
Paul Heyman coming out to unveil his new client was something I had been looking forward to, because anyone aligning with Paul Heyman is a good thing and when it was unveiled, I was even happier, here is a guy who has all the skills and talent but never had a decent storyline or push and now this is the chance he needs, and finally he is getting rid of that damn name and even though he can use his own Hennig name because WWE don't like proper names, it is paying homage to his family, which is a good thing... Also, It was great to hear Mr Perfects theme running in the background of Curtis Axel's new theme tune aswell... Nice bit of nostalgia. Im looking forward to hopefully big things from Curtis Axel. Paul Heyman is still one of the few good things about WWE.
ADR vs Big E was a bit of a weird ending for me, from the referee wondering how a phantom bucket threw itself across the ring to a thumb to the eye following ADR just letting Big E go... then the 5 count finisher.. does this make Big E the new number 1 contender???
Always great to see AJ in the ring in action, and Im not going to complain about this one...
Rhodes vs Ryder was always going to be a throw away match unfortunately, but even more so when they showed Ryback watching backstage... Not sure why Ryback has been and got changed from his street clothes earlier into his wrestling gear, but I don't see the point in this... Why do they have to have Ryback destroy some mid card talent, what is it proving and who is honestly interestly, it made no statement or anything, was just pointless
Here we go with The Shield, I am kinda disappointed that it seems like they wont be going with the Freebird rule when it comes to defending the titles, Hopefully they will change their mind and allow them to do this, but great to see them gull of gold... Good to see them win the match though, and after Super Cena nearly killed any momentum last week by running through the whole group like he did The Nexus etc... The Shield definatly proved they are still a dominating force to be reckoned with and one of the only good things in WWE.
Oh... HHH doesn't have medical clearance... But you cant threaten to sack a doctor because he wont give you clearance... Even in Star Trek, the doc could over rule the captain haha....
Well Orton was always gonna win that vote, wasn't really a shock was it now... I guess this is Swaggers punishment still on going for his pending court case etc... and Orton seems to be getting yet another push
Sick to death of these Ryback replays... for god sake, I hated it at the beginning of the show and they keep reminding me how annoying he is every damn 30 minutes...
Bit of a Cop out in the Main Event... not sure if they are going to try and do a Concussion storyline to co-incide with what is happening with Dolph Ziggler etc, but definatly a bit of a cop ut, would have hoped they could have let Curtis Axel have a bit better of a showing than he did though... Could be a good way to bring some attention to the ssue of Concussions in Sport through Storyline without having to break Kayfab to do it, which could be a good thing outside of the world of normal storylines though.... So although it is a bit of a cop out, I don't mind the way they have gone about it so much... I wonder if this will set up the Rocky Comeback moment at some point in a years time or something though....
