I'd say 50/50. UK artists are the basis of what is played but US music gets just as much air time, I think there's more of an agenda of promoting certain UK artists here, but there's not any need to promote the US ones if I'm making sense. You could go hours only hearing Rihanna songs for example. And the only other people from Europe who get air time are DJs like David Guetta and Daft Punk.
There's this sort of exodus of these cheesy UK pop bands like the Spice Boys (1D), Wanted etc etc.


I live in America and on the radio here we have a few artists that aren't from the US that get play on the radio. Mostly UK pop artists like One Direction or The Wanted. Mumford and Sons gets a lot of love here but there aren't a ton of artists from the eastern hemisphere. Is it the same way across the pond?
