Jesus. Can we cut the two brands crap finally? If you can't get everyone you'd like enough exposure with 6 hours a week and get some nice feuds going and title chases then whats the point?

Sport is said to be the big thing with networks now because they're "DVR-proof." People want to watch live, so ad revenue is huge for sport. Vince has been trying to play up the sport aspect of WWE more than the entertainment lately, in the hopes he can get a better deal. Plus the WWE ratings are ridiculous high for the money they're getting, they have a worse deal than just about anyone right now. They were practically forced to sign last time around because USA was the only network who would have them, but this time with the TV landscape changed a bit and the WWE's image changed a bit, they're hoping to double the money they get from this next deal. That's what Vince said on the conference call last week anyway, whether it happens or not is a different thing.
I really doubt SmackDown will go to three hours, but my guess would have been that Raw would go back to two by now so I could be wrong. I really hope I'm not.
I just want Smackdown off of SciFi. For every loyal wwe fan that watches it on SciFi, there is a jackass sci fi geek who bitches that their sci fi channel has wrestling on it. Its annoying. As one of those geek boys, I agree. Wrestling and sci fi shouldn't mix. Put wwe on a non-genre channel. Maybe put it on USA. Put EVERYTHING on USA, wwe.
Eventually, i think they'll have a 1 hour show on every day, like 'good morning wwe universe' instead of 'america.'
Raw 3 hours, smackdown 2 hours, main event 1hour, superstars (is that still on?) 1 hour, Total divas 1 hour, Saturday Morning 'forgot its name' 1/2 hour.... that's a lot of hours.
I am all for 3 hours. the more wrestling the better. hopefully with 7 hours of major wwe tv with raw, sd, and main event they will make the roster bigger and have an actual mid card and tag division.
Its that time again where WWE are re-negotiating their contract with SyFy, the negotiations are due to start next months, and reports coming out are that WWe is hoping to get a similar deal to Raw which may include going to 3 hours?? After all if Vince can get an extra $100,00 a week for the extra hour of Raw with n extra set up costs, then am sure if he can get even half that amount for an extra hour of smackdoww with no set up costs then he will...
All this means really though, is that we will have an extra hour of Raw replays
