It's a warm night as the scene opens to show the packed out restaurant besides the water. The sounds of people laughing and the knocking of cutlery full the air. We find the maître d' with a worries look on his face as he scans the restaurant for an empty table, but none are too be found anywhere. He looks back down at his booking sheet and the look of worry turns to one of fear as he looks up at the couple standing before him.
Maître d': I am so sorry Mr. Murphy but your table won't be ready for another forty five minutes.
The look of fear on the Maître d's face is matched by one of anger on the face of "the law" Carlos Murphy's. Murphy looks back over his shoulder at Jennifer Clarkson and rolls his eyes at the incompetence of the Maître d'.
Ms Clarkson are more than welcome to take a seat at the bar and we will clear you a table as soon as we can.
Sweat is building up on the Maître d's forehead as he waits for a response from the couple.
Carlos Murphy: Well I guess that won't be a problem as long as the bar tab is covered by that little tip jar.
Murphy taps on the tip jar sitting in front of the Maitre d' with his fingers and gives him a smile.
Umm.... Yes not a problem Mr. Murphy, consider the drinks on the house. Anything we can do to make your night enjoyable.
Atta boy.
Clarkson gives out a little giggle at how Murphy has bullied the Maitre d' into playing for their drinks for the evening.
Now if you would follow me I will show you too the bar.
It's ok, I think we can make our own way. You have done more than enough for us tonight.
Murphy reaches down and grabs the tip jar and gives the Maitre d' a pat on the shoulder as he makes his way past. Jennifer Clarkson takes a step forward and looks at the Maitre d'.
Jennifer Clarkson: Just make sure that table doesn't take to long ok now sweetie?
Before the stunned Maître d' can respond Clarkson follows after Murphy catching up to him and linking arms with her man.
Well he was shitting himself.
At least we made a nice little profit out of it. I didn't even have to snap his ankle.
Now at the bar the pair takes a seat at the only empty bar stools left. Murphy puts the tip jar down and waves the bartender over with his free hand.
Bartender: Good evening Sir, what can I get for you this evening?
I’ll get an old fashioned and a Vodka lemon limes a bitters.
The bartender nods his head and quickly gets to work on the drinks. Murphy rests one arm on the bar top as he turns to face Clarkson.
So how are all our business propositions going?
Everything is steady, I have had contact from Shaun O’Callaghan since your return to 4CW.
O’Callaghan? From the Power-bar company?
That’s the one. He said that now you are back wrestling again he would love for you to promote the company once again.
Ha, sure why not it was pretty easy money last time around anyway.
The bartender returns with the drinks and places them down on the bar. Without looking Murphy pushes the tip jar towards the bartender for payment. The bartender looks at the tip jar with confusion, not sure whether or not to question why a customer is paying using the jar. The bartender clears his throat as if he is about to speak up which Murphy hears and quickly spins his head around to the bartender.
Is something wrong champ?
With Murphy staring at him the bartender loses any confidence that he had built up and quickly backtracks on questioning Murphy.
No not at all Sir. Are you after anything else?
No, you may leave us now. You just better hope our table is ready before I need a refill.
Murphy then turns his attention back towards Jennifer.
Being back on television really has made it easier to push people around once again.
Excuses me mister.
The voice of a young boy comes from behind Murphy. A devilish smile comes over his face as his turns around on his chair to find the boy standing behind him holding a napkin and a pen. Murphy speaks in a soft and assuring tone to the boy.
Why hello young man, what can I do for you?

Why yes I think I am Carlos Murphy, are you a fan of wrestling?
The boy’s face explodes with excitement as he is looking up 4CW star in person.
WOW! This is so cool! My mum said if I asked extra nice that you might give me a autograph. So could I pleaseeeees get an autograph?

Murphy reaches out and takes the napkin and pen from the boys hands which are shaking with excitement. Murphy places the napkin on the bar and proceeds to sign it.
Remember kids Carlos Murphy always says “Fuck you Mommy, cause that’s “the Law”
Murphy then hands back the napkin to the boy and gives him a pat on the head.
There you go little man, now why don’t you run off and show Mom what you got.
Wow! Thanks Mr Murphy, this is the best.
The boy then turns and runs off to return to his Mom waving the napkin above his head with excitement.

Well don’t worry we won’t have these situations to deal with much longer. I was speaking to Geoff today, our GM at the security company. The new hired help should be over sometime in the next week.

Murphy raises his glass as does Clarkson and the pair each take a sip as the secne fades out.
Well you Rped so I hope you don't mind me reviewing. First off, I prefer RPs like this simply b/c they are easier to read. lol. I've never been the best at reviewing but I do enjoy simple RPs like this. I honestly wasn't 100% sure if Murphy was face or heel and I didn't bother to check the sign ups. Seeing how he signed his signature to that little kid answered my question. LOL. That's good stuff. The RP itself was just good. Very few punctuation errors that I saw. You started off the RP very descriptive which really painted the picture. Should have done that throughout the RP, but I won't kill you for it. What's important to me is the picture you painted about Carlos himself. While I remember him from years past, I've never really knew that much about him. He's a dick. Haha. Saw a little bit of strain with Clarkson over what he did with that kid's autograph. Maybe Clarkson IS looking into something new???? Those little run ins with Nichols aren't exactly as serendipitous as we thought???? I enjoyed this. If you rp again I'll read and try to review, unless you hate me for it.

haha no I don't mind you reviewing my roleplay at all. I like your kind words. Much like my segment and match writing I felt a little rusty. I'm glad you found it helped you get to know Murphy better and picked up on the little story-line build up I was trying to work into the roleplay. I do agree with you on the drop off in description dropping off as it went on, I just got lazy.

History:
Carlos Murphy started his wrestling life down under in Australia working for a small fed AWF. Their Murphy was a king along with his partner Dante Jones. Murphy was a multi time AWF Heavyweight and Tag Team Champion. When Murphy was 22 years old he left AWF and Jones behind moving to Canada in hopes of making it big.
After two years of working small time Indy shows and not getting much from it Murphy had become a different person. Caring not about others but only him. That’s when things started looking up for Carlos Murphy.
Murphy got is chance at the big time when he found out about 4CW Fight Club. 4CW was giving young wrestlers the chance to compete not only for a 4CW contract but a Custom Championship Title match. While in Fight Club Murphy started a feud with then 4CW owner Dr Peterson. This lead to Dr Peterson kicking Murphy out of Fight Club at the first chance he got. However Murphy was not gone for long. He made his return to 4CW at Gallows End with him bring his lawyer Jennifer Clarkson who claimed that Murphy had been wrongfully fired. Dr. Peterson had no choice but to give into Murphy and Clarkson and "The Law" was back.
Murphy then set his sights on fellow Fight Club member Paddy The Red, breaking his ankle forcing him to leave 4CW for good, but then he shocked the world by returning home to AWF for one night only to set Dante Jones alight sending him and AWF to a sad and sorry death.
Murphy then set his sights back on 4CW and shocking attacked a returning Cereb and helping Dr Peterson take care of business. Cereb and Murphy have a long and bitter feud which came to a end at Revival II inside the Submission Cage. At the end it was Cereb's hand held high in victory.
Murphy then joined up Bobby Pinash and Roman reformed Above The Law with a nasty beat down on 4CW World Champion Inferno, but Murphy's finest hour was still to come. At Cash Out II Murphy locked in the lock of the law on the XYZ forcing him to submit, giving Murphy the win and crowning him the 4CW Universal Champion.
Above The Law looked set to dominate 4CW. Until without notice Bobby Pinash disappeared from the scene. Once Murphy lost the Universal Championship Roman and himself set on doing what Pinash had planned for the young pair, domination. As a tag team Murphy and Roman did just that. They quickly captured the 4CW Tag Team Championship and enjoyed everything that came with being Champions. The pairs ego grew and grew to the point of even training a street bum to do tasks for the pair.
Once the pair split for reasons nobody can remember Murphy set his sights on the 4CW Championship and came within seconds of becoming a Triple Crown Champion.
Now with the return of 4CW Carlos “the Law” Murphy has also returned to spread his cocky brand of wisdom throughout the world once again.
Entrance:
The 4CW-tron then flicks to life with highlights of “the Law” Carlos Murphy. Vision of him picking up his first PPV win against Paddy the Red, his sicken attack on Gloria, breaking her ankle in 2 places, embracing with Jennifer Clarkson only moments after winning the Universal Title form XYZ, locking in the LSD with former partner Roman on their way to another successful tag team title defense, Murphy with his head held in his hands after coming up painstaking short of claiming the 4CW World Title from Fish.
Sarah Loveless: His opponent from Melbourne, Australia. Weighting in at 225 pounds he is “the Law” Carlos Murphy!
The crowd voice their disapproval of Murphy with a loud round of boos as “We Own It” by 2 Chainz starts up over the P.A system.

Carlos Murphy then comes out from behind the curtain he throws his arms in the air, flipping the crowd the bird with both hands. Murphy screams at the top of his lungs.

Murphy is then joined at the top of the ramp by Jennifer Clarkson who stands to the right side of him. The two share a look before they begin walking towards the ring. Trash talk the fans as he goes.

Once Murphy reaches the ring he slides in under the bottom rope while Clarkson takes her place at ringside. Murphy walks across the ring to the turnbuckle, once again giving the crowd the bird.

Jennifer was born into a smart and wealthy family. She followed in her father’s footsteps of becoming a lawyer. Clarkson was always top of her class growing up and graduated with flying colors from Harvard Law School. She was always know to follow the law and willing to please people.
Clarkson first meet Murphy when she was hired to represent Murphy when he was unfairly fired from 4CW. Clarkson being the switched on lawyer she is had no trouble getting Murphy reinstated. Once reinstated, Murphy kept Clarkson on the pay role to help him enforce his brand of “the Law”. The pair grew close working together and a relationship blossomed. Clarkson fell head over heels for Murphy’s bad boy attitude and she found herself rebelling alongside him.
Clarkson still practices law and has used her business sense to invest Murphy’s money from wrestling wisely. The pair now do not have to worry about money, and together are chasing glory in 4CW.
Wrestling Skills
During her time in 4CW Clarkson has picked up some wrestling skills. She has been involved in a couple of mix tag matches alongside her man. She also has a tendency to get involved in Murphy’s matches in whatever why she can, legal or otherwise. She is not scared to give anybody a sharp kick using the point of her high heeled to inflict more damage. While she isn’t likely to step in the ring full time she in no mug, with Murphy giving her basic wrestling training she can hold her own with other female talent, if need be.
