Yeah in theory I guess its a good idea. Its better than WWE putting celebs at Wrestlemania and makes more sense. There is very few celebs I would pay 60 bucks to see for a few seconds at a PPV...

Admin and 4CW Head Booker

I don't like it when MMA stars go into wrestling, or celebrities either. MMA stars aren't as bad as celebrities but either way, they shouldn't be there. They are taking up air time that could be used to push someone.

We forget that Ken Shamrock was a pretty damn good wrestler. His mic work was shit but he could go in the ring. Being a mma fighter gives these guys an instant reputation as being a legit tough guy and using them like Rampage is a good idea but King Mo is looking like he is serious about pro wrestling. He is going to wrestling school and trying to learn the craft. I'll be interested to see how Tito and Rampage handle it. I am guessing they are going to use TNA as another platform to promote their mma fight on ppv in November. This will be Bellator's first ppv event and they need it to be big for more than one reason and it looks like since Viacom owns Bellator and Spike TV, they are pulling out all the stops. TNA is just being used and it's going to hurt them in the long run. At least Viacom is fronting Tito and Rampage's salaries.

Shamrock stopped fighting while he was wrestling. All three of these guys are prioritising MMA. Mo says wrestling training is too hard to do while also training for a fight, so he's not going to go fully into pro wrestling until he retires from MMA. Rampage does one hour of wrestling training per week, his heart isn't in it at all. Tito is in no shape even to fight, there's no chance in hell he'll be bumping in OVW.

Mo at least enjoys wrestling, he's half way worth having around as a long term investment. The others are, like you said, just Bellator guys trying to get the rub from Impact's ratings. I'd be very surprised if Tito does more than being a special referee again, and if Rampage does much more than this ten man tag. They'll say they're focusing on MMA for the time being, and when they're done with that they won't stick around just for TNA.

I know Tito won't bump. He is held together by paper clips at this point. He is only fighting because Jenna took a lot of his money. Rampage has a long standing reputation for not training seriously and just doing things for the fame and money. When this doesn't work out he will blame TNA, Viacom, and bellator. Anyone but himself. It's his calling card. MMA is less abusive on the body but it's also a lower paying gig. I just hope at least Mo does something with TNA so that they have one guy with crossover appeal. As little appeal as mo has, it's better than nothing.
