Almost God like? Maybe...

Stormfront_zps182dbc83.png

The 4CWtron comes to life as the opening video package  plays and the generic 4CW theme bursts out of through the PA system and the cameras pan around the packed arena at the cheering crowd focusing briefly onto the signs that the fans are holding up, “Belly Stinks” ; “[chux] [sux]” ; “Hello Mom” ; “4CW 4 Life” are just some of the signs that the camera can see before being distracted by the pyros exploding either side of the entrance ramp and across the stage area as this sets off a chain reaction of explosions all the way down the ramp to the ringside area, as the turnbuckles explode into life and the final set of pyros begin to die down and the crowd has come alive, screaming and chanting as Storm Front officially begins.

Phoenix: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Storm Front!!

Jeffery: After last weeks show, we've got another two Heavyweight tournament matches.

Phoenix: And we'll see if Mr Drake will make an appearance after being called out by Belly last week.

Jeffery: I can't wait to see Mike Nichols back in action tonight.  I've heard he's 100% pain free now and ready for his match against The Saint.

Phoenix:   To kick off the show tonight, we're taking you to the 4CWtron and something that was filmed earlier today.

The camera fades in to the near-empty 4CW arena. The ring has been set up and two 4CW wrestlers are in the ring. Paladin; Warric Wells; is being pushed off the ropes by Kensai; Jin Lee. Courtney Frost is outside the ring, watching the sparring session of Paladin Wells and her client; Kensai. Kensai pushes his body into Paladin’s as they reach the ropes.  Kensai slides back and chops Paladin in the chest as Paladin yells ‘OW’ and then Kensai whips him off the ropes. Paladin bounces off the opposite side ropes and is caught by Kensai with a back body drop and an echoing thud screams across the arena.

Paladin, on the mat, back to Kensai: Owie oww oww. You CHOPPED me! This is PRACTICE! I’m talking ‘bout PRACTICE! You don’t CHOP a guy... in PRACTICE! Who DOES THAT? I mean... REALLY!?!?!?

Kensai stops a kick to the back that he was about to unleash, and speaks in Mandarin as Frost translates.

Kensai speaks, with Frost translating a moment later: You must be ready for anything. You were almost pinned last week. If I didn’t make the save, we would have LOST... and I would be forced to DESTROY YOU!

Paladin chuckles: ONE... enough with the ‘destroy you’ stuff. The Saint kicked me right IN THE FACE! He’s like 10 feet tall. That was impressive. And...It hurt... a lot. I don’t know if you know this, but getting kicked in the face HURTS. It was a TAG match. You did your job. You made the save, and, HEY, we won.

Kensai speaks, with Frost translating:I am not a TAG TEAM wrestler. I have done so in the past and ALWAYS... eventually... been disappointed. It is YOUR JOB to keep from disappointing me as long as you can. Because when you do...

Paladin chuckles: Yeah, yeah. You destroy me. You DO KNOW that I’m, like... A LOT bigger than you, right?

Kensai/Frost:Last week, I did what I had to do. I sent a message to Sery. He will always remember it. When I face him tonight, he will know that I am willing to do ANYTHING that I have to do to get the win. I will fight him. I will cheat. I will attack him from behind. i will do ANYTHING that is needed to win the World title. YOU do not have the same fire in you. You are physically strong, but MENTALLY weak. YOU are not willing to do ANYTHING to win. That is why Valentine is going to defeat you tonight. That is why I will eventually have to DESTROY YOU.

Paladin turns to look at Kensai: Like you did to Sery? When he comes to get back at you, I’m just gonna watch. And... you say ‘destroy’ to me one more time, and we’re gonna have problems.

Kensai: Pòhuài.

Frost, trying to diffuse the quickly escalating situation:He said ‘Sorry.’

Paladin looks at Frost, knowingly: No... he didn’t.

Paladin Wells and Kensai Lee both begin to ball up fists and step toward each other as a beep goes off in the pocket of Courtney Frost. She pulls out a cell phone and looks at the number. She quickly calls for Kensai.

Frost: Jin! Call for you. It’s Mao Tan Ren.

Kensai: KENSAI! Bù Jin.

Kensai looks to Paladin, Frost reluctantly translating: Fine. This session is over. Get BETTER by tonight, or I may have to destroy you.

Paladin eyebrows raise as he looks at Courtney Frost, asking: What did I JUST say?

Kensai turns to Frost: Wǒ huì zhàogù hūjiào.

Frost finally smiles: I KNOW you’ll take that call. That’s why he’s on hold.

Kensai scoots out of the ring and swipes the phone from Frosts hand, before clicking the ‘hold’ button on his phone and walking off, talking to the man on the other end. It left Paladin Wells in the huge arena alone with Courtney Frost. Paladin worked up the nerve speak to her.

Paladin, sliding out of the ring and pulling on a T-shirt: So, are, uh, you two okay, now?

Frost looks away as he slides on his jeans: Yeah, he took me aside and apologized... he VERY BRIEFLY apologized, but he did apologize. He says that he won’t do anything like that again... and then he added... ‘with me around.’ So... I don’t think that his... unnecessary roughness is over.

Paladin turns to her: Well, I’d expect no less. What’s with the call?

Frost: Ask HIM.

Warric:  Well, anyway... so, Anastasia thinks that I was hitting on you last Storm Front.

Frost: That’s probably was because you were hitting on me last Storm Front.

Warric:  WHAT? No. No. No no no. I was just being... friendly. I don’t have many girl... friends...as in friends... who are girls.

Frost: Yeah, I get it, Shakespeare.

Warric: Not really sure of the rules. If you thought that I was ‘hitting on you,’ I’m sorry. I mean... you’re...

Frost: Don’t worry about it. It was flirtatious at best.

Paladin: I’m glad that things worked out with you two. I wouldn’t want to lose you... ya know... as a friend.

Frost turned her attention completely to Paladin, a seriousness in her tone: Is that what we are?

Paladin audibly gulped as he looked into her piercing eyes: April...

Courtney: It’s Courtney now.

Paladin: Courtney. I wish that I had met you before I met...

Courtney: Nightshade? Why?

Courtney reaches over to Warric Wells’ pants, causing the rookie wrestler to flinch awkwardly. Frost pulls off a black, lace thong that had been static-clung to his pant leg, and then hands them to an embarrassed Paladin Wells.

Frost: These yours?

Warric, trying to joke: I’m more of a boxers kinda guy.

Frost: She’s gorgeous, exotic, and wears things like THIS... or... doesn’t mind going around NOT wearing things like this. If her mom’s not fat, I think that you should put a ring on it.

Paladin:Well, she IS... let’s say ‘fun’ to be with but, Ana and I haven’t really made a real...

Frost interrupts him:... connection?

The two were stopped in a pregnant pause before Courtney continued.

Frost:So, it’s just about sex with an hot Russian model, then? I feel so bad for you. It’s gotta suck. Maybe you should just... dump her... and ask ME out again.

The two were stopped in another pregnant pause before Paladin repeated his earlier statement.

Paladin: Courtney, I wish that I had...

Courtney cut him off: I gotta go.

Warric: What?

Frost:I have a lunch date.

Paladin’s: A... lunch date?

Frost chuckled:Echo echo echo echo. After you left with Nightshade last show, Rog Roddick asked me to dinner. He seems nice. I guess this would be our... second date. Anyway, he’s picking me up right about... now.

As Courtney Frost looks over Paladin’s shoulder she sees Rog Roddick; walking down the stairs, she could see he was already looking towards them, but how much did he really see? Once their eyes locked Rog’s lips curled into a smile, and he let out a wave, and approached Courtney and Paladin.

Rog wraps his arm around Courtney’s shoulder pulling her in for a hug, she smiles slightly but avoids eye contact with Paladin during this moment, Rog on the other hand looks directly into Paladins eyes, eyebrows pushed deep between his eyes, He turns to Frost to speak to her.

Rog: Hey honey, you ready to go? I’ve got a reservation at Rowland Café, my brother knows the chef there. It’s a great place!

Frost, does her best to avoid eye contact with Paladin now, turning to Rog: Yes. I’m looking forward to it. Just let me get my purse... it’s in my locker room.

Rog nods, and Frost heads up the arena stairs, leaving Rog and Paladin a lot in the training area. Rog watches as Frost disappears up the stairs, turning toward Paladin, glaring at him.

Rog: You’re new here, so, I’ll let you in on a not-so-well-kept secret. My name is Rog Roddick, Global Tennis Guru; I was in the main event of Storm Front. Where were you?

Paladin, smiled as he turned from watching Frost walk away, and toward Rog Roddick.

Rog: It doesn’t matter; I just wanted you to know that I’m a big deal around here.

Paladin: Oh, I have no doubt.

Rog: Look, Paladin, I’m not looking to volley back and forth with you about this, I just want to make sure you see the point I’m trying to make.

Paladin raised an eyebrow: Okay.

Rog: Stay away from her.

Paladin: What?

Rog: I already told you I’m not looking to go back and forth. This is an ‘ACE’ conversation, do you know what that means, that means I serve at you, and you just take it, and accept it.

Warric: She’s the translator of my partner. Now, I don’t really like the guy that much, but my sen...

Rog interrupts him: I don’t care what’s going on with you and your doubles partner, that not my problem. My problem is you getting all buddy-buddy with my girl.

Paladin: Are you... threatening me?

Rog: Wow, are you sure you’re not the one who needs the translator? I said stay away from her, before it end up Game, Set and Match for you.

Paladin didn’t respond. He didn’t want to seem intimidated, or even jealous. He had no right to be the latter. He was with Anastasia Bok; the woman that wrestles in 4CW as Nightshade. Though he immediately didn’t like this Rog Roddick character, he knew that he had no right to interfere in Courtney Frost’s personal life.

Rog turns away from Paladin, hearing the footsteps of Courtney coming down the stairs, accepting Paladin’s silence as successfully and intimidating him. Rog meets Frost at the bottom of the stairs, wrapping his arm around her. As they walk away, Courtney gives Warric a quick wave, and Paladin returned the greeting as Rog Roddick gives him a piercing stare. Paladin turns to walk in the other direction, thinking out loud.

Paladin: THIS is going to be interesting. I think she’s dating a BATMAN villain.

The camera fades out taking us back to Scott Phoenix and Ray Jeffery at the announce table.

Jeffery:   haha, Roddick does seem to be something of a Batman villain.

Phoenix: Lets get to our first match of the night, two guys that have made quite an impact since the 4CW rebirth, Paladin Wells and Jack 'Mad Dog' Valentine.

Loveless: Ladies and gentlemen, this match is scheduled for on fall. Introducing first, hailing from Los Angeles, California. Standing 6 feet 6 inches and weighing in at 275 pounds! Paladin Wells!!!

Glitch Mob’s remix of Seven Nation Army hits and out walks Paladin Wells. The fans do not quite yet know what to think of the rookie, but they cheer as he raises his arm to the crowd. He walks down the ramp looking in great shape. He runs and slides into the ring and quickly gets to his feet. He shouts out to the crowd raising his arms and they respond with cheers. He turns and faces towards the stage.

Loveless: And his opponent, hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Standing 6 feet 3 inches and weighing in at 235 pounds! Jack “Mad Dog” Valentine!!!

“Supernova Goes Pop” by Powerman 5000 hits and out struts Jack Valentine and the crowd goes crazy. Valentine is completely energized as he walks back and forth on the stage shouting out to the crowd grinning. He extends his arms outward with a cocky grin and then pulls them back crossing his arms nodding his head. He walks down the ramp looking out into the crowd, taking a deep breath, and soaks it all in. He hops onto the canvas and enters the ring through the ropes. He immediately dashes to the farthest turnbuckle and hops on it throwing his hands back over his head revealing his body to the crowd and puts his head back with his eyes closed. After a second he hops down and walks to the center of the ring before facing the crowd again and raising his right arm with a the same cocky grin across his face.

Phoenix: And Storm Front’s first match is seconds from being underway! The rookie will really have to test himself here against a former Universal Champion and leader of New Redemption. Truly an icon here in 4CW.

Jeffery: Please. Icon my ass. Valentine’s accomplishments don’t even come close to matching up to the real icons of 4CW.

Phoenix: I thought you were a Valentine fan?

Jeffery: Never in my life.

*Ding* *Ding* *Ding*

The 4CW official calls for the bell and the match is officially underway. Wells and Valentine size each other up and begin to circle. Wells lunges forward, only to eat a knee to the gut. He recovers quickly and keeps his eye on Valentine. Valentine grins and shrugs his shoulders. Wells moves on Valentine again and they lock up in the center of the ring. Wells over powers Valentine and tosses him backwards. Valentine hits the mat back first, but quickly rolls back and back to his feet. Only to see Paladin Wells shrug his shoulders and grin. Valentine gets to his feet and moves in on his opponent. They lock up a second time, only this time, Mad Dog quickly slips behind Wells. Before he can do anything with him, Wells quickly elbows Valentine and connects on the bridge of his nose. Paladin then turns, pulls back, and starts unloading with left and rights. Valentine tries to cover up as some blows connect and start knocking him back towards the ropes. Just as it looks like Wells may knock Valentine out of the ring, Valentine drops to the mat while using his legs to trip up Wells and send him flying forward with a drop toe hold. The Big Gun lands throat first on the middle rope and then hits the mat holding his throat in pain.

Phoenix: What a great start to this one. Neither participant has really gotten the advantage until just now.

Jeffery: As much as I dislike Jack Valentine. The fact that he is the veteran in this match and not the rookie is the only reason he got one over on Paladin Wells.

Valentine doesn’t waste any time in getting Wells to his feet by his head. He stands him up and immediately delivers a blow to his jaw. He follows up with another and on the third, Wells gets his hand up and blocks it. He throws his own blow back at Valentine; he ducks under the arm and gets behind the Big Gun. Mad Dog then quickly jumps and drop kicks him in the side of the head and he drops to a knee. Valentine springs to his feet and runs towards the ropes. He bounces off and comes back with and running dropkick that hits Wells in the side of the head and he drops to his stomach holding his head. Valentine gets to his feet and can’t help but to show off a bit to the crowd.

He then makes his way over to his downed opponent and helps him back to his feet slowly. Suddenly, before Valentine can react, Wells quickly grabs Valentine around the waist and tosses him up and over his head, for a Belly-to-Belly suplex! Valentine slams into the mat and arches his back up in pain. Wells takes a minute to recover, but doesn’t allow Valentine to get to his feet alone. Wells stands up Valentine, drops his right arm, and forcefully brings up right back up connecting under Valentine’s chin for a vicious European Uppercut! Valentine ejects saliva from his mouth and into the air, before stumbling back into the turnbuckle.

Jeffery: Look how bad Valentine is doing here. This guy is a rookie in only his second match and first singles match at that!

Phoenix: Well you really gotta hand it to Paladin. So far he’s really held his own against a nearly ten year vet.

Wells back up and few steps and then runs full steam and clotheslines Valentine into the turnbuckle with massive force. Valentine nearly gets horizontal in the air and falls to the mat. He grabs Valentine by his hair and forces him to his feet. He drags him to the ropes and then whips him across the ring. Wells holds his leg up for a Big Boot, but Valentine ducks under it and continues towards the adjacent ropes. He bounces off of them and back towards Wells, who swings for the fences with a clothesline only to be ducked again. Mad Dog picks up more speed, hits the ropes, and instantaneously flies right off of them and into the air at Wells. Valentine throws up his right forearm and uses his left hand to force Wells’ head into the attack as he connects with a beautiful Flying Forearm Smash! The Big Gun stumbles back a bit and fights to keep his balance. Valentine springs back up to his feet and kicks the bigger man in the gut and he keels over. Valentine grabs Paladin’s head and falls backwards driving it into the mat for a brutal DDT! Valentine quickly gets to his feet and stalks his opponent, waiting behind him, waiting for him to get to his feet. Wells holds his head in pain but still starts to get up. Unbeknownst to him, Valentine his ready and waiting behind him. Wells gets to his feet, only to have Valentine who takes Wells’ own left arm and wraps it around his own neck, while Valentine places his own left hand in between Wells’ arm and head for the Euthanasia Lock, shades of the Million Dollar Dream! Paladin Wells throws his free arm out in agony but has nowhere to go as Valentine keeps him in the center of the ring. Wells throws his arm around wildly!

Phoenix: Valentine has the Euthanasia Lock locked in!

Jeffery: Now come on! What the hell kind of name for a maneuver is that?  What a joke!

Just as Wells begins to look limp, he quickly starts running backwards and forces Valentine into the turnbuckle and slams him into it. Valentine releases the hold as Wells, breathing heavily, turns around and sees Valentine stumbling toward him. Wells slips his own right arm under Valentine’s and then swiftly flips him up, over, and forward for a nice quick hip toss. Valentine eats the maneuver on his back and then scrambles back up to his feet, only to be quickly clotheslined to the mat hard! Wells drops down and attempts the first cover of the matchup!

Kickout!

Phoenix: Gonna take a bit more than that to take the Mad Dog out!

Jeffery: Shoulda stayed down. Saved us all from this bore.

Paladin grabs Valentine by his head again and pulls him up to his feet. He whips him into the ropes, Valentine bounces off of the ropes and runs right into Wells who gets Valentine up onto his shoulders and falls back slamming him into the mat for a Samoan Drop! Valentine rolls away in pain and the crowd starts to get behind Paladin Wells. He heads over to Valentine and stomps on his back a few times before getting him to his feet and in the turnbuckle. He takes his right foot and stuffs it into the throat of Valentine and applies pressure, using the rope for leverage. Valentine fails around trying to get free. The official begins his count, but Wells just releases the hold at “3”. Valentine leans over and starts coughing as he holds his throat. The Big Gun heads over to the other turnbuckle and sizes Mad Dog up. He runs full steam across the ring at Valentine and springs into the air. He comes down into the turnbuckle and slams his own face into the top turnbuckle because no ones home! Valentine had just moved out of the way and just in time. Wells stumbles around and turns right into the arms of Valentine who slowly scoops him up for a Bodyslam!

Phoenix: Valentine with the very timely maneuver!

Jeffery: Maneuver? What maneuver? He got out of the way at the right time! Then barely got Wells up for a bodyslam.

Phoneix: And now he’s climbing the turnbuckle!

Jack Valentine reaches the top of the turnbuckle and sizes up Wells! Valentine leaps off the turnbuckle! He flies through the air, pulling up his arm only to reveal a sharp elbow that he drives right into the heart of Paladin Wells! He then quickly hooks his leg for the cover! The official slides in!

NO!

Paladin Wells kicks out! Valentine isn’t happy but isn’t surprised either as he plans his next attack. He heads over to the adjacent turnbuckle and waits for his opponent to rise. The crowd begins to cheer as they see what is coming. Eventually Wells does get to his feet and turns towards Valentine who is rushing at him full speed! Valentine lunges for a Spear but instead eats a Big Boot to the face! Valentine drops to the mat nearly limp. Wells has no choice but to take some time to recover.

Jeffery: Great counter by Wells! I could see myself getting behind this guy, but no.

Phoenix: And why not Ray?

Jeffery: Paladin? I mean. Where does he think he is? This isn’t World of Warcraft.

Wells heads over to Valentine and gets him to his feet. He tosses him into the ropes and when he returns he catches him underneath his right arm and lifts him into the air, getting Valentine completely horizontal, only to slam him right back down to the mat back first, for a hard Side Walk Slam! Wells gets up to his feet and holds his arm up into the air and shouts out to the crowd as they cheer.

Phoenix: I think he’s calling for the end Ray!

Jeffery: Thank God.

Wells yanks Valentine by his neck and gets him up to his feet. He then places Mad Dog’s head between his legs setting up for some kind of powerbomb maneuver. He reaches down and pulls Jack Valentine up and gets him in a seated powerbomb position on his shoulders, but as soon as Valentine gets onto Wells’ shoulders he starts hammering away on Paladin’s exposed face! Wells goes limp and falls backwards. Both men hit the mat and scramble to get to their feet. Wells swings for Valentine’s head but he ducks it and gets behind him. Valentine quickly jumps back and comes forward with his right leg, aiming his foot for the chin of Wells for the Superkick! But Wells catches the foot! He forcefully tosses it to his right and it spins Valentine around. He swings again for a clothesline which is again ducked! Both men turn and face each other and both connect with a clothesline to one another dropping them both to the mat!

Phoenix: Both men are down! This is anyone’s match!

Jeffrey: Hopefully the referee will give them both a 10 count and we can move on with the show

The referee starts the obligatory count as both men slowly begin to stir, as the crowd begin to chant for their favourite wrestler, the majority of the voices can be heard chanting for Valentine, but Paladin Wells is not without his fans, who are chanting in unison.  Suddenly the chanting turns into a loud chorus of boo's as the crowd all turn to the entrance ramp, and through the curtain and running down the ramp towards the ring comes Paladin Wells tag team partner, Kensai

Phoenix: What is he doing here?

Jeffrey: Finally, this boring match might get interesting as Kensai is here to save the day

Both men in the ring are getting to their feet, but it is Wells who is up to his feet first, but as he uses the ropes to regain a vertical base, he sees Kensai running down the ramp towards the ring, but instead of greeting his tag team partner, Paladin is shouting at Kensai asking what he is doing, as he shouts at him that he wants to do this alone, but Kensai just responds in a foreign language as he motions with his  hands for Paladin to take advantage of Valentine who is slowly getting to his feet.

Phoenix: Paladin doesn't seem to want his partner out here

Jeffrey: That's because he is a rookie and can't understand when he is being helped

Jack Valentine manages to get to his feet and Wells is still looking out of the ring towards Kensai, but Valentine not realising that Kensai is on the outside, see's an opportunity to take advantage and goes to deliver another clothesline this time to the back of Wells head, but Paladin has excellent ring awareness and knew what was coming by the reaction of the crowd, and ducks under the clothesline, a Valentine ends up between Wells and ropes and Wells begins to throw right hands to the head of valentine, as he is backed up against the ropes trying to block the punches, but in doing so he doesn't see the knee to the gut, which keels him over.

Phoenix: Paladin not looking like a rookie here as he had Valentine scouted then

Paladin grabs a hold of Valentine and Irish whips the former Universal champion, but Mad Dog manages to keep a hold of Wells' wrist and reverses the Irish whip.  This reversal prompts Kensai to jump up onto the apron to attempt to distract Valentine, but the veteran isnt going to fall for the trick, as Paladin comes running back towards him, Valentine jumps in the air, leap frogging over an on-rushing Wells, causing the rookie to duck underneath and continue running right into the path of his tag team partner...  Paladin manages to put on the breaks just in time though, as he stops centimetres away from Kensai as they both nearly collided.

Phoenix: Kensai nearly took out his own partner then, but Wells managed to stop himself just in time.

Jack Valentine lands back onto his feet and turns around as Wells comes to a stop, face to face with his tag team partner, and not wasting any time, Valentine leaps up and delivers a drop kick to the back of Wells which causes him to fall forward into the ropes and in doing so, straight into Kensai, sending him flying off the apron and Wells is left in the ring, holding his head as they banged heads in the collision

Jeffrey: Did you see that, Paladin Wells just attacked Kensai

Phoenix: Don't be stupid Ray, Valentine drop kicked Wells into Kensai, can he now take advantage

Jack Valentine raises his arms in the air quickly, bringing the crowd to like as they all get to their feet, knowing what is coming next and as Wells turn around to face Valentine, still holding his head from the collision, Valentine throws up a kick to the stomach of Wells and grabs his head, forcing it between his legs.  The noise level in the arena reaches fever pitch as no one is remaining in their seat, as Valentine under hooks the arms of Wells

Phoenix: Valentine setting up for The Flea Shot

Jack Valentine jumps up in the air, pulling up Wells with the under hooks, as the rookie' body straightens up mid air and then comes crashing down, face first into the canvas before Valentine rolls over Paladin and the referee drops for the pin

1..

2..

Phoenix: What is he doing..

Kensai has slid under the bottom rope after regaining his feet on the outside and as the referee reaches a count of 2, he delivers a kick to the head of Jack Valentine, the referee looks up from his pin and see's what has happened as he calls for the bell

DING DING DING

Jeffrey: That will teach Jack Valentine for hitting Kensai with Wells' body earlier

Phoenix: Kensai had no right being out here, it was his own fault

Jeffrey: Paladin is Kensai's tag team partner, of course it was his business being out here...

Kensai in the ring continues to stomp away on Jack Valentine, as Mad Dog rolls to the edge of the apron and under the bottom ropes to the outside, as kensai looks around to the crowd who are not holding back their feelings as they boo the Japanese superstar.  But the reaction of the crowd doesn't affect Kensai as the referee is quick to leave the ring in fear of Kensai turning on him also.  Paladin Wells begins to come around and gets to his knees as he looks around wondering exactly what has happened as he sees Kensai standing in the ring and then see's the referee on the outside as Sarah Loveless makes her announcement

Loveless: The winner of this match, as a result of a Disqualification... Jack "Mad Dog" Valentine

Wells see's the referee raise the arm of Jack Valentine who is just getting to his feet and in disbelief he slowly stands up shouting at Kensai asking him what he had done, but Kensai cannot understand what Paladin is shouting..

Phoenix: It looks like things between these 2 partners is beginning to heat up in the ring

Jeffrey: Wells should be thankful Kensai was there to save him

Phoenix: If Kensai hadn't come down to the ring in the first place, Wells could have won this match.

Jeffrey: This match was boring until Kensai came out here

Just when it looks like things may get physical between the partners, it is Paladin Wells who's calmer head prevails and he backs off from Kensai, still shaking his head and telling Kensai that he had this on his own as he exits the ring, Kensai in the ring doesn't seem to understand why Paladin is upset with him.

Phoenix: That was a match up worth of the main event, I think both those guys have got fantastic futures here in 4CW.

Just as Phoenix finishes speaking darkness engulfs the arena, heralding the arrival of the Night’s Dark Master.  “Lords of Salem” plays from the PA, and Carstein rises from the stage, alone, and dressed in his wrestling gear.

Loveless: Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome the Lord of the Night, CAAAAAARRRRRRRSSSSTTEEEEEIIIIIIINNNNNN!!!!!!

He walks down the ramp and climbs into the ring.  He approaches Sarah Loveless and grabs the microphone from her hands.

Carstein: Last week I promised that I would end Sery.  I delivered.  And that’s because that is what I do.  I hurt people.  I destroy people.  I end people.  Climb into the ring with me, and your career ends.  Don’t believe me?  Well let’s take a look at all my opponents shall we?  Where are they now?  Where’s Senecca?  Where’s the Universal Invader?  Where’s Firecracker and where’s Rocket Roky?

Jeffrey: Can’t argue with that Phoenix.

Carstein: From legends like [chux], Supreme and Fish to forgotten nobodies like Hardy and Mike Kim.  It doesn’t matter who you are.  I.  Will.  End.  You.

Even those who survive to tell the tale are left scarred.  Just ask “The Law” Carlos Murphy.  He may be walking and wrestling now, but he’s not the same man as he once was.  He climbed into the ring with me, and it took him five years to recover.  Five years to heal from the wounds I inflicted on him before he could wrestle again.

Phoenix: It was indeed five years ago when Carlos Murphy was last on Storm Front, losing to the dominant Lords of Salem in a tag match with his brother Joey, and suffered a horrendous beat down at the hands of Carstein.

Carstein: And now later on tonight I face an old foe of mine, a chance to add another name to my list.  The Pretender Champion.  The man who can’t beat me without cheating and without the aid of outside help.  Last time we faced each other for the Universal Championship.  But now the stakes are raised and the World Championship is on the line.  Well guess what Marks, there’s no Senecca to help you this time.

But Marks and Sery are not the reasons why I’m out here.  I’m out here to talk about the man they call the Bruiser.

The crowd in the arena cheer at the mention of Rhysus, and cheer his name.

Crowd: RHYSUS!  RHYSUS!  RHYSUS!

Carstein: That’s right; I’m here to talk about Rhysus.  Right now, Rhys is angry.  He is seething, and he is really pissed off.

Carstein smirks.

Carstein: And that’s because of me.

Carstein pauses, soaking in the boos from the crowd.

Carstein: A couple of weeks ago was Revival.  And it was there we witnessed the re-birth of the new 4CW with our new owner, Chris Drake.  We crowned a new Custom Cup Champion in the shape of Brock McSweeney.  We saw the debut of new wrestlers like Rog Roddick and the Skill Set.

But there was something else new that we saw.  Something none of us has ever seen before.  We all saw Rhysus lose at Revival.

Phoenix: Uh oh, Rhys isn’t going to want to hear this.  Things could turn ugly.
Jeffrey: Ugly for Rhysus!  You heard what Carstein said.  Face him and he’ll retire you!

Carstein: Until a few weeks ago, Rhysus was undefeated at Revival.  He had a nice little winning streak going on.  That is, until he bumped into me.  At the Revival 8 Battle Royal, after being eliminated myself, I helped to eliminate Rhys.  Thanks to me, his undefeated streak came to an end.

But that’s not all, oh no.  Two weeks ago, our gallant hero faced Brock McSweeney, and I taught Rhys a lesson by taking yet another victory from him.  With a bit of soothsaying, I showed Rhys the future, and it was enough to give McSweeney victory.

The crowd boos Carstein heavily at this point, angry and upset at his boasting.

Carstein: Now what I did was bad.

Phoenix: Huh?  Did I hear right?

Jeffrey: See Phoenix, Carstein’s not a bad guy!  He’s showing remorse!

Carstein: So I’ll tell you what I’m doing to do.  I’m going to stand right here, in the middle of this ring, for Rhysus to come down and have a match with me.  I know I’m wrestling Chris Marks later on, but nevertheless I’m going to stand here and let Rhys take his revenge on me.

Phoenix: This is weird, what’s Carstein doing?

Carstein raises his voice and looks up at the entrance way for Rhysus.

Carstein: I know you’re angry Rhys!  I know that hatred you have for me is gnawing away at you inside.  You must want to beat me, and tear me apart.  So here I am!  Come out here and destroy me!

Carstein, and the crowd, watches the entrance way.  But the Bruiser doesn’t come out.

Carstein: I robbed you of your victory two weeks ago Rhys!  I allowed Brock McSweeney to pin you!  I made you look like an idiot in front of the whole world!

Still nothing.  Carstein’s shouting at this point.

Carstein: I ended your Revival winning streak Rhys!  In fact, thanks to me, you haven’t had one victory here since coming back!  Come out here and destroy me!

Carstein still shouts towards the entrance way.

Carstein: If you’re scared, I’ll turn around.  You can attack me from behind!

Carstein, arms outstretched, turns around.  And yet still Rhysus doesn’t appear.  Carstein turns back around to face the entrance way.

Carstein: Very well.  I’ll give you time to consider Rhys.  I’ll ask again later.

Carstein throws the microphone and climbs out of the ring.

Phoenix: I’m not sure what Carstein’s game is here.  Why does he want Rhys to destroy him?

Carstein walks up the ramp, and heads to the back to prepare for his match against Belly.

Phoenix:   Well, after those words from Carstein, we're about ready for our second match of the night.

Jeffery: Brock McSweeney has made quite an impact since 4CW made it's return to television, capturing the Custom Championship.  The midget Rhysus seems a little concerned that a proper wrestler might eclipse his record Custom championship run and has stuck his nose into Brock's business.

Phoenix: That's one way of looking at it.  Another would be to assume Rhysus is ambitious, and feels he deserves to wear 4CW gold again.

Jeffery: Well, it just shows how dim the midget is because this is a non-title match up...

Phoenix: Yes Ray, you're right, this is a non title match featuring Rhysus taking on Brock McSweeney

Jeffrey: You need to get the billing the right way around Scott, Brock is 4CW's only current Champion and as such deserves top billing...

Phoenix: Ok then, Brock McSweeney takes on Rhysus, is that better for you Ray?

Tico Thrax wheels himself out to no music and stops half way down the ramp. The lights go out and a spot light hits the top of the ramp. Lynyrd Skynyrd, Simple Man hits the speakers as Brock slowly makes his way into the light with his head down and the Custom Cup Championship on his shoulder.

Loveless: Being accompanied by Tico Thrax... From somewhere in the Midwest, United States... Weighing 273lbs... The 4CW Custom Cup Champion... Brock McSweeney

The lights come back on. He takes off the title and raises it high, looking into the sky as he gets serious with a viscous look on his face marching down the isle toward the ring where he meets with Tico half way down and they get to the ring. Brock hands the title to Tico and he places it in his lap guarding it closely. Brock slides into the ring and raises his fists high into the air and goes into the corner.

Jeffrey: There is the 4CW Custom Cup Champion, and look how he carries himself, like a true Champion should..

Phoenix: It does seem that winning the battle royal at Revival has given Brock a new sense of purpose in 4CW and with it he has a new attitude as well

"The Turning Point" by Killswitch Engage plays and Rhysus comes out.

Loveless: And his opponent, From Tampa, Florida; By way of Swansea, Wales; Weighing 220lbs... "The Bruiser" Rhysus!

Jeffrey: Look at him, it was only last week he was scared of a little doll hanging above the ring and now he thinks he can take on Brock

Phoenix: Last week still has to be playing on the mind of Rhysus, wondering if tonight will bring about a repeat?

Jeffrey: If Rhysus isnt 100% focused on Brock, he will pay the price tonight

Phoenix: He looks determined to shut up the cocky Brock.

The ref rings the bell and both men make their way out of the corner. Brock slaps his shoulders and offers up the collar and elbow tie up. Rhysus locks horns with the bigger man not backing down as Brock out powers the Brusier and gets him down to one knee before driving the knee into his chest. Rhysus gasps for air as McSweeney transitions smoothly into the wrist lock. Rhysus with a quick burst rolls forward out of the hold and with one quick swoop hooks Brock's leg and takes him down to the mat. He pins, but gets just a quick one count.

Phoenix: A great counter from Rhysus almost results in a quick win

Jeffrey: It will take more than that to defeat Brock McSweeney

Brock powers out and gets back to his feet quickly, Bruiser the same. Brock pauses and wants another tie up but the Bruiser has other ideas as he lands a couple of quick punches. Brock ducks and dives out of the ring and seems furious as he screams at the ref ordering him that this isn't boxing this is wrestling. Rhysus seems confused as does the ref but he starts the 10 count anyway.

Jeffrey: Come on referee, this isn't a back street fight, this is professional wrestling..

Brock tenderly rolls back into the ring and The Bruiser puts his fists up, Brock isn't having that though so he slides between the middle and top rope ordering the ref to get Rhysus away from him, Tico is on the outside chiming in as well. Rhysus backs off and as soon as Brock gets out of the ropes Rhysus charges and hits a big shoulder block sending Brock into the corner. Rhysus reigns down with hard punches to the stomach.

Jeffrey: Referee, get a grip of this match, Brock wasnt ready, this is totally out of order

Phoenix: As you said Ray, this is professional wrestling, deal with it

Brock powers out and pushes the Welshman off of him sending Rhysus rolling backwards. Brock on the attack now, hoping up to the 2nd turnbuckle and leaping off with a forearm smash. It connects and Brock pins, but only gets a quick 1 count. Brock stays on the offense mauling Rhysus with a forearm rack to the eyes as he straddles him with a body scissors.

Phoenix: Brock with the quick pin, but Rhysus powers out

Brock transitions out of the combination hold and applies a strong arm bar to Rhysus' strong arm to take his stiff punches out of commission. Rhysus gets to the ropes and Brock instantly lets go as not to get disqualified. Brock shouts at Rhysus, "No need to use the rules to your advantage!" Rhysus holds his arm and tries shaking some life back into it.

Jeffrey: Rhysus not smart enough to counter, he has to make the ref help him

Phoenix: What? Rhysus knows the rules and legally got Brock to break the hold

Brock steps back and allows the fallen man to rise to his feet. Brock charges and Rhysus ducks down holding the ropes. Brock scouts this one however and hangs on as to not fall out of the ring. Brock thinks he is smart, but Rhysus pops up and hits a hard super kick sending Brock off the apron and crashing into the wall next to Tico. Tico shouts at Brock to get up as Rhysus tends to his arm a moment more before the look of determination sets over his face.

Phoenix: Brock thought he out smarted Rhysus then, but the welsh star proved he had Brocks number

Jeffrey: How is this fair, Brock wasnt even in the ring and Rhysus is attacking him

Bruiser to the outside lifts McSweeney to his feet and clubs him with hard forearms to the rib cage and to the spine sending Brock marching away trying to escape the beating. Rhysus follows and gets caught when he goes for a lariat to Brock, he steps away and Rhysus hits the turnbuckle with the already slightly shaky arm. Brock rolls Rhysus into the ring and covers.

Kick out.

Jeffrey: Three... Oh so close...

Phoenix: Rhysus just managed to kick out in time

Brock stands up and holds the small of his back and winces in pain from the hard shots he took just moments earlier. He brings Rhysus to his feet and whips him into the ropes, Thesz Press by Brock! Back to the arm bar for Brock. The Bruiser's elbow is bent the wrong way. He looks to tap out soon! Rhysus fights the pain long enough to where he can roll into the hold and grab his other hand. Somehow Rhysus fights out by pulling his trapped arm out with the free hand. Rhysus rolls over and to his feet. Tico and Brock look shocked at the power Rhysus just showed.

Phoenix: Rhysus isnt out yet...

Brock with his hands raised high going for some sort of move, Rhysus with a quick short spear! If Rhysus can just make the cover however. The sore arm is coming into play. Delayed pin...

1..

2... No!

Phoenix: Soo close, thought Rhysus had the victory then

Jeffrey: Takes more than that to take out the Custom Cup Champion

Brock kicks out and holds his gut. Rhysus grabs at his arm and jerks it almost as if it will help. Rhysus cries out like a warrior. Brock to his feet, Rhysus hooks him. Suplex! Rhysus holds on and lifts again, second suplex! One more for Rhysus as usual as he stands it seems like his shoulder won't allow him to lift Brock for the third Amigo. Brock stomps Rhysus' foot and takes advantage of the situation. Brock explodes with the T-Bone suplex! Brock rolls over for the cover.

2...

THRoiuydf!!!!

Jeffrey: Brock wins...

Phoenix: No, Rhysus kicked out just in time...

No just a two. The two men lay on the mat for a moment, both rising to their feet. Brock sets up for the "Dishonorable Discharge" Pumphandle Slam. Rhysus with a counter hooking Brocks arm. Rhysus spins around and has the head locked in now. Bulldog! Brock and Rhysus slow to get up, Rhysus up first. Brock just got goozled! Turnbuckle Burner time! No Brock chops at the sore arm, he counters into a Crossface Chicken Wing.

Jeffrey: Rhysus is going to tap

Rhysus is fighting with all he has in him. He gets what now must be his 5th wind. Rhysus gives Brock a taste of his own medicine. Stomping his foot Rhysus is out of the hold. Rhysus down to a knee as Brock skips a couple steps away. Bruiser chargers and hits a sick lariat!

No! Brock ducks it and Rhysus flies into the corner chest first. Brock goes to follow up as he attempts a roll up pin. Rhysus counters out and lands a stiff kick to the midsection. Rhysus turns around and starts mauling Brock with lefts and rights. Brock is reeling from all the punches. Tico is losing his mind on the outside demanding the ref DQ Bruiser.

Jeffrey: Closed fists referee... Come on... You were quick to defend Rhysus use of the rules before, now he breaks them and you say nothing Scott

Phoenix: ....

Rhysus with another attempt at the Turnbuckle Burner. Brock gets sent up, but he falls back down to his feet, Brock hesitates as he almost punched Rhysus instead he grabs hold for a German suplex, Rhysus spins around Brock and counters. Schoolboy pin!

3!!!

Phoenix: Rhysus wins..

Jeffrey: That was a fast count..

Phoenix: No it wasnt Ray

"The Turning Point" by Killswitch Engage plays and Rhysus raises his hand in victory, the other arm looking a bit weaker after the punishment.

Loveless: Here is your winner... "The Bruiser" Rhysus!

Brock rolls out of the ring losing his mind. Tico rolls himself over and grabs a mic for Brock. Brock gets on the mic outside of the ring and starts heading up the ramp walking and talking, holding his back.

Brock: Rhysus. You are a pretty decent wrestler kid. But you are still half the man I am. People like you, you need other to get ahead. And it is more blatant that ever that not only do you need people to help you but you need the rules to help you. Rules, or lack thereof... Your win has a huge shadow cast over it! I could have hit a heymaker and knocked you on your ass there and won. But this is wrestling, not boxing, not MMA, wrestling. You don't even deserve to look at this title.

Tico hands Brock his Custom Cup Title.

Brock: However. I want to show the world how talented I am when someone is not using loop holes to beat me. So I request two things right now. Drake, this match have an asterisk placed next to it. And two, next Storm Front. Rhysus vs myself, the Lone Wolf, Brock McSweeney... Custom Cup Championship. You don't deserve it, but the Classic Combat rules are needed. I am doing this for you kid. I have nothing to prove. You however need to redeem yourself.

Rhysus in the ring shakes his head as if he cannot believe Brock is for real, but he still seems happy he is being given a shot at the title that he basically made famous. Brock leaves the ramp with his title and Tico in tow.

Rhysus’ celebration is cut short, as the 4CWtron comes to life to show Carstein sat in the locker room, alone.

The Bruiser looks serious as he stares up at Carstein.

Carstein: Have you made up your mind yet Bruiser?  Have you decided if you’ll face me?  Have you decided to get your revenge on me?

Rhysus: Carstein, I'm not blind and I'm not deaf. I saw you out here earlier and I heard what you had to say. But there's something you need to know about me. I answer to no-one. I'm my own man! You are a spoilt little child who threw his toys out the pram and I'm not going to give you the satisfaction of me kicking your ass!

Carstein: So be it.

The 4CWtron goes to black, and Rhysus is left to ponder just what Carstein means by that.

Phoenix: I want to know why Carstein wants a match with Rhys?  Why does he want him to destroy him?  What’s going on?

As the Scott Phoenix finishes his question the 4CWtron pops back into life, taking us backstage where we find “Main Event” Mike Nichols strutting his stuff down the hallways as he prepares himself to take on The Saint in his first singles match since the 4CW reboot. As is expected from a Grand Slam winner he is walking with an air of confidence about himself. He reaches down and snaps the top of his wrestling tights into place and runs his hands through his hair making sure everything is in place. As he takes another step forward his momentum is broken, as his right foot slightly gives underneath him, causing him to quickly balance himself with his left foot. A road agent who is filling out some paperwork notices the slip up from, while Nichols looks down at his right foot as if somebody just deflated his balloon just a little.

Road Agent: Everything ok Mike?

Hearing the Road Agent causes Nichols to quickly shake his head, which seems to cast away any doubt that he had only a second before and his self-assured manner returns.

Nichols: Should it not be? I'm the Main Event, everything is always ok.

He then continues his way down the hallway, seeming to puff his chest out even more to prove his words are true. Up ahead footsteps can be heard coming from around the corner of the hallway. Nichols slows his pace to avoid a collision.

BANG

Unfortunately for Nichols whoever was coming the other way didn’t take such precautions and the collision still occurs.

Really?!

The sound of heavy breathing can be heard and before Nichols even looks like he knows who he has bumped into.

Jesus, Renfield, are you following me now? If you are wanting an autograph you are out of luck. I stopped carrying a pen when Phil Duncan left.

Renfield just stares back and Nichols without any reaction.

Right. Uh, yeah! It was great seeing you again. Gotta go do......anything else.

Nichols then makes his way past Renfield who still hasn’t batted an eyelid. Nichols steps around the corner of the hallway, while to his left side a door opens and a tanned leg steps out and a voice is heard yelling back into the room.

I’ll meet you in the car, don’t take too long my parents are waiting.

Nichols stops just short of the door as he knows it’s the voice of Jennifer Clarkson. Clarkson steps out the door and closes turns to close it behind her, in doing so she drops her handbag to the floor. She bends over to gather her things which now cover the floor. Being the gentleman he is Nichols quickly bends over to help.

Miss Clarkson, what a pleasure it is to see your....everything again.

Jennifer instantly blushes as she looks up to see Nichols helping to gather the contents of her bag.

Mr Nichols, here to help a damsel in distress?

Please like I said last time, call me Mike.

Well you can just call me Jen if that’s the case.

The pair share a little giggle as they gather the last of the object from the ground and return to a standing position without breaking eye contact, both with a cheeky smile. Clarkson holds her handbag open, allowing Nichols to place a hair brush and some make up into the bag. All Nichols has left in his hands is a business card which he takes a close look at.

I didn’t know you still practice law, Jen. How do you manage that while travelling with 4CW?

Well you know us girls Mike we are ever so good at multi-tasking.

Clarkson shoots a look at Nichols as if to say "if you know what I mean". Nichols seems to understand as he gives a little nod as he continues his flirting

I bet you can do...all sorts of things. With beauty and brains, you are the complete package. Do you mind if I hang onto this? My lawyer really only does work with my gyms and doesn't understand the wrestling business. So having somebody with your

Nichols without moving his head runs his eyes over Clarkson body.

Assets could be of real benefit to a man like myself.

Not a problem Mike, I’m always looking for new…

Before Clarkson can finish what she is saying she hears the door behind her start to open. Before the door is even half open she has taken a step back from Nichols and wiped the smile off her blushing face. With the door fully open Nichols is blocked from view as Carlos Murphy steps out and is surprised to see Clarkson standing in the hallway.

Carlos Murphy: Coming back to make sure I was coming?

Clarkson takes a second to clear her throat and compose herself.

No, the hallway was blocked by a cripple.

Clarkson points towards the open door and motions for Murphy too close it. As Murphy closes the door it brings a grinning Mike Nichols into his view. A look of annoyance comes over Murphy’s face. With his time spent behind the open door Nichols has tucked Clarkson business card into his tights with only the top corner poking out.

Nichols, too cheap for crutches I see.

Maybe, or perhaps your little Ankle Lock isn’t all it cracked up to be, Carlos.

Nichols delivers the line with a great all of confidence trying to intimidate Murphy. Instead of intimidation Murphy’s face turns to one of anger as he balls his left hand into a fist as both men shape up to each other. Clarkson standing behind Murphy sees what is about to happens and reaches who Murphy’s balled up fist and squeezes her fingers between in and holds his hand.

Come on Carlos, we haven’t got time to deal with something petty like this at the moment.

Murphy backs down from Nichols and turns his gaze to Clarkson who is looking up at him with loving eyes. The anger drains from Murphy’s face as he takes a breath to gather himself.

Your right Jen, this really is below me right now.

Murphy turns back to face Nichols, with a look of anger returning to his face.

Says how much little I rate you Nichols, would rather go have dinner if the in laws than give you another lesion in the law.

Behind Murphy, Clarkson gives him a disgusted look to the "in laws" comment which Nichols sees and gives a little chuckle to himself.

Below you? Whatever gets you through the day, big guy.

Nichols gives a wink which Murphy thinks is directed at him to once again get under his skin. Murphy once again takes a second to gather himself. What Murphy doesn't realize is that Nichols wink was directed towards Clarkson who is looking over Murphy’s shoulder. The wink brings a little smile to Clarkson’s face as she looks back at Nichols. Murphy then turns back to Clarkson and grabs her hand before pulling her away as he pushes his way past Nichols.

Let’s get out of here Jen.

Murphy then storms down the hallway dragging Clarkson behind him. Clarkson doesn't seem to pleased with the way she is being pulled away by her partner. Once they are a couple of steps away Nichols pulls out Jennifer’s business card out of the top of his tights. He waves the card in his hand as he sarcastically yells down the hallway.

You two love birds have a great time tonight.

Murphy doesn't react but Clarkson turns her head back at Nichols as she is getting pulled down the hallway and sees him waving the business card in her direction. Clarkson raises her free hand to her mouth in a Shushing motion. The couple then step around the corner of the hallway to leave Nichols standing with a smile on his face while looking at the contact details of his newly acquired business partner.

Phoenix: Let's get straight to the ring for the first of tonight's Heavyweight Tournament matches.

Loveless: The following match is a First Round Matchup in the World Heavyweight Title Tournament... Introducing first, hailing from Antigo, Wisconsin.. Sery...

The opening riff to Money For Nothing by the Dire Straits blasts through the sound system of the arena. Sery steps out of the curtain to a big ovation. He makes his way down to the ringside area and gives a few fans a high five! Suddenly Sery gets thrown into the steps leading up to the ring!

Phoenix: That's the man who attacked Sery last week!

Jeffrey: Good! The twerp could use a beating or two!

Phoenix: This is just unfair!

Kensai picks up Sery and throws him into the barricade. He proceeds to throw Sery in the ring and the match starts. Kensai pulls Sery to his feet and knees him in the gut, proceeds to plant Sery straight to the mat with a Gutwrench power bomb.

Jeffrey: HAHA! Sery doesn't know what hit him.

Phoenix: This is hard to watch.

Kensai whips Sery into the turnbuckle and proceeds to lay into him with lefts and rights until the ref tries to restrain him. He brushes past the ref and continues! He finally stops and brings Sery to the middle of the ring only to bring him to the mat with a brutal full nelson slam. Kensai goes for the pin

1...

2..kickout!

Phoenix: It's amazing that Sery was able to kick out, after all that punishment.

Jeffrey: He needs to learn his lesson, Kensai will make sure of that now!

Kensai stalks Sery as Sery uses the ring ropes to bring himself to his feet. Sery staggers to the middle of the ring where Kensai tries to kick him in the gut but Sery catches the leg, but Kensai kicks Sery in the head with a Insiguri. He proceeds to go for the pin once again.

1...

2..kickout!

Phoenix: Sery showed a bit of life and was able to kick out again.

Kensai pulls Sery to his feet and sends him into the ropes, he tries for a clothesline but Sery ducks it and comes shooting off the opposite ropes with a drop kick that sends Kensai staggering towards the ropes. Sery looking very damaged, uses all his might to charge Kensai but Kensai side steps Sery and sends him flying to the outside of the ring. On the outside of the ring he takes Sery and rams his head against the steel ring steps.

Phoenix: I think Sery is bleeding!

Jeffrey: He should know this isn't little league.

Kensai only looks motivated by the blood pouring out of the wound on Sery's head and sends him flying into the barricade. He brings Sery's almost lifeless body to its feet and puts Sery over his shoulders. He runs with Sery at the steel ring post as if he were going to ram his head into it. Sery wiggles off and sends him Kensai flying into the pole. Sery manages to throw Kensai into the ring.

Phoenix: This looks like the opening that Sery needed.

Jeffrey: I think he's to hurt to do any real damage. This Kensai guy doesn't look like a push over.

Sery scales the turnbuckle and waits for Kensai to get to his feet. Sery leaps off and plants a missle drop kick on him. Sery goes for a pin but only gets a one count. Sery goes to the turnbuckle again and climbs it from the front but Kensai is on his feet and grabs him from the waist and tries pulling him down! Sery has a strong grip on the turnbuckle pad, so strong that it rips the pad clear off!

Phoenix: that turnbuckle is now fully exposed.

Jeffrey: I hope Sery gets thrown right into it.

Sery gets thrown into the ropes and gets dropped with a calf kick. Kensai picks him up and whips him into the exposed corner. Kensai charges but Sery jumps out of the way and Kensai hits the exposed turnbuckle head first, Sery hooks Kensai's head and hits a Sliced Bread #2 on the man! Sery hooks his leg and goes for a pin.

1...

2..kickout

Phoenix: Kensai is just looking to be to much for Sery in his current state.

Not giving up Sery points to the turnbuckle and climbs it. He stands straight up on the top turnbuckle pad and stares down at the ground to the fallen Kensai. He leaps off looking for the Seryous Senton Bomb but Kensai gets his knee up. Kensai is now on the offensive and takes Sery and throws him head first into the exposed turnbuckle. He plants Sery into the mat head first with a major DDT. Now its Kensai's turn to climb to the top of the turnbuckle and he doesn't fail like Sery! He hits his finisher The Rising Son and hooks Sery's leg.

2...

3!!!

Loveless: The winner of this match and advancing to the second round.... Kensai

Phoenix: Kensai wins, this man looks like a force to be reckoned with.

Jeffrey: He's one of my favorite new talents! I see a bright future. He just seems ruthless!

Phoenix: Sery put up a valiant effort after the horrible acts before the match started, but the injuries seemed to be just to much.

Jeffrey: Horrible acts?  Sery deserves everything he gets...  He's a midget, and not even a funny one!

Phoenix:   Sery's form since the relaunch has been horrible.  Surely he must turn this around soon!

Jeffery: He's a midget wrestler, so every time he fights someone who's normal he's bound to lose...

The 4CWtron comes to life to show vision of a war-torn town; disarray and rubble line the streets. The sounds of terrified screams and explosions can be heard as the camera continues to makes it way throughout the town. The sounds of the vision subside and a unknown voice starts speaking over the footage.

In these uncertain times we need people to take control. We need leaders to follow. This is footage of what happens when people choose to go against such leaders. Destruction rains supreme. So when face with the choice will you fall in line behind those above you? Or will you resist and see your downfall?

The footage of the war-torn town then disappears from the screen and in replaced by the follow text in large letters.

Will you become a L-A-C? Your survival depends on it.

The 4CWtron slowly fades to black, leaving the show to return to normal programming.

Phoenix: What the hell was that?

Jeffery: I have no idea, but I'm pretty sure I'm L-A-C...

Phoenix: Let's get to Sarah Loveless in the ring.

Loveless: The following match is scheduled for one fall and introducing first, weighing in at 300lbs.. The Saint

"God is Dead" by Black Sabbath hits the PA system and out comes The Saint.

Phoenix: Here comes The Saint! This man made his debut at the Revival Battle Royale and will be looking to pick up a huge victory tonight against Mike Nichols!

Jeffery: Except Nichols is a 4CW veteran - one of the best we've ever had, a grandslam winner and a 4CW Hall of Famer! The Saint has his work cut out for him tonight!

Phoenix: That may be so, but you have to keep in mind The Saint is 300lbs, almost 50lbs bigger than Nichols! Although Nichols a head taller!

The Saint gets into the ring, "Break Stuff" by Limp Bizkit hits and out comes Mike Nichols. Nichols gets a bigger reaction, obviously, and when he gets into the ring, he stares down The Saint knowing that the newbie will be hungry to prove himself.

Loveless: And his opponent, a 4CW Grand Slam Winner...  "Main Event", Mike Nichols...

The referee waves his hand, calling for the bell, and this match gets underway! Straight away, both men lock up in the centre of the ring. The bigger (in weight) man wins it as Nichols gets thrown backwards. Nichols gets straight back to his feet and gets right back into it, and this time, he wins the grapple, sending the 300lber back into the turnbuckle. Nichols runs at the big man and hits him with a clothesline, and then hitting a HUGE belly-to-belly suplex right off the bat!

Jeffery: Only a 4CW Hall of Famer would pull out such a big move in the first minute of the match!

Nichols hooks the leg, but The Saint kicks out after a 1 count. Nichols gets The Saint to his feet and wears him down with a few right hands, he then sends him to the ropes and waits for him to return but The Saint hits a big clothesline, knocking Nichols to the ground! The Saint then picks up Nichols, but is pushed away, as Nichols comes back with a few more shots, pushing the big man into the corner again. Nichols charges into Saint's gut with his shoulder several times, before stepping back and allowing Saint to stumble out of the corner. As he does so, Nichols sets up for a Spinebuster, but Saint manages to get back on his feet and club Nichols in the back. Saint uses the opportunity to club Nichols in the back several times. Nichols stumbles over to the ropes but Saint continues to club him in the back. The referee gets to the count of four before Saint stops. The referee gets in The Saint's face, telling him he has to follow his orders. And while all this is going on, Nichols makes his way over to the turnbuckle and rips off the pad.

The referee moves away from Saint and he launches himself towards the corner to attack Nichols. Nichols moves, ducking underneath, and Saint goes face first into the exposed turnbuckle! He comes back out of the corner, and Nichols takes him out with a Spinebuster! Nichols hooks the leg!

1...

2.... NO! The Saint is still in this!

Jeffery: The Saint kicks out but Nichols dealt some damage there!

Phoenix: No doubt that exposed turnbuckle has stunned The Saint! He doesn't seem to know where he is at the moment!

Jeffery: Love that Saint gets his wrist slapped for clubbing Mike in the head with his arm, but the 4CW legend gets away with using an exposed turnbuckle.

Phoenix: Are you questioning the honesty of our officials Ray?

Jeffery: Not at all Scotty, just calling the shots as I see them...

Nichols picks up the big man and sends him into the corner. He runs at him to go for a clothesline, but The Saint raises a boot and kicks Nichols in the face. Nichols stumbles back and Saint takes him out with a High Knee! Realising he's got an opportunity to do some damage, The Saint wastes no time in continuing his offense with a big Leg Drop! He hooks the leg!

1...

2... but Nichols is not out of this match just yet!

Phoenix: Did that count look slow to you Ray?  The referee seemed to hesitate a little to me.

Jeffery: Shut up Scott.

The Saint gets up, lifting up Nichols and then pushing him away. The Saint goes for the Irish Kiss Superkick quickly! But Nichols avoids it and rolls out of the ring to recouperate. The Saint stands over the ropes, egging Nichols on to get back in the ring. Nichols calls the referee and tells him that there's an exposed turnbuckle that he's not happy about! The referee goes to fix the pad - and Nichols jumps back up on the apron, raking The Saint's eyes, then getting back into the ring, and hitting a running boot to the face of The Saint! He hooks the leg!

1...

2... but The Saint kicks out!

Phoenix: The Saint is still in this! But Nichols has been running rings around this referee! Several times he's bent the rules and the ref hasn't even noticed!

Jeffery: It ain't cheating if you don't get caught!

Back in the ring, and Mike Nichols decides to up the ante. He picks up The Saint, who is pretty groggy, and decides to waste no time, setting him up for The Push Killer! He does so, but The Saint elbows his way out of it, and decides out of frustration to rake the eyes of Nichols! Nichols stumbles back and the referee runs straight at The Saint, shouting the odds about the rules and how he's one step from being disqualified!

The Saint grabs Nichols and throws him on the middle rope, using his knee to push the pressure on Nichols' neck! 1...2...3....4...he lets go of the hold at the very last moment, Nichols stumbles to the floor and the referee looks like he's about to blow his top.

Phoenix: The Saint is going to get disqualified if he's not careful!

Jeffery: It seems The Saint isn't very good at this 'not getting caught' business!

The referee continues to admonish The Saint, letting him know exactly how he feels and pointing to the turnbuckle and accusing The Saint of exposing it earlier in the match.

Phoenix:   The Saint getting blamed here for Nichols wrong doing.

Jeffery:   Nichols doing what Nichols does best.

The second the referee steps away from The Saint Nichols charges his, landing a running boot to the face, felling the heavier man.  Saint rolls away from the former 4CW Heavyweight Champion and out of the ring, attempting to regain his poise and breath.  Nichols follows Saint out of the ring, immediately reigning blows on him.  Saint covers his head for a second, before pushing Nichols back and, from nowhere, nailing the Irish Kiss superkick.  Saint immediately pulls Nichols back to his feet and rolls him back into the ring, before following him in.

Saint stands behind Nichols, who is still lying on the mat and waits.  After a few more seconds Nichols slowly starts to get to his feet, unsure of his surroundings or what's happening.  The Saint keeps out of Nichols line of vision by standing behind him.

Jeffery:    What's The Saint doing?  This isn't hide and seek, it's 4CW damn it!

As Jeffery finishes his sentence The Saint grabs Nichols from behind, locking in his version of the Tazmission.

Phoenix:    The Return to Brigadoon!!  Saint is gonna put the Grandslam champion to sleep here!

Saint has synched the hold in tightly, cutting the air supply to Nichols brain and starving it of oxygen.  Nichols fights it, tries to stop the world going black.  The referee shouts, neither wrestler hears what he says, both locked into the moment.  The referee shouts again, this time grabbing The Saints arms.  Nichols feels limp, but he refuses to tap, refuses to surrender.

The bell rings, the match ends.  Saint releases the former champion, who falls gasping to his knees, drawing in a huge lungful of air.  The Saint raises his own arm in victory just as "Break Stuff" by Limp Bizkit hits the PA system.  The Saint looks shocked, he shouts to the referee to put his music on.  The referee, keeping a healthy distance from the 300lber, informs him that Mike Nichols is victorious due to a disqualification for an illegal choke hold.

Jeffery:      I don't understand?  How can Nichols have won after being almost rendered unconscious?

Phoenix:  The referee must have seen the sleeper hold as a choke hold.  It looked good to me, but Nichols will take this...

Nichols rolls out of the ring, still struggling to get his lungs filled with air and makes his way up the ramp, leaving The Saint arguing with the referee as the 4CWtron pops into life to show Courtney Frost pacing back and forth backstage in the arena hosting the night’s 4CW event. The backstage buffet table is stocked with cookies, crackers, cheeses, finger-sandwiches and the like for all the 4CW staff and grapplers. Between her new client - Kensai Lee, to the Kensai-Sery attack from the last show, to her interpersonal relations with Paladin Wells, to her budding relationship with Rog Roddick – she had a lot on her mind. The absence of Kensai; Jin Lee; could mean many things, most of them bad.

frost_signature_zps2c49939b.jpg

Courtney Frost walks past, tapping one grappler or staff member after another and asking one simple question.

Frost, talking to Dan ‘Hairlip’ Wilks of the ring crew:  Have you seen Kensai? Big Asian guy, always scowling. Doesn’t speak English? No?

She turns to the next man:Hey. Have you seen...

As she asks Thomas ‘Dolby’ Colby, also of the ring crew, a slender shadow falls on her from behind. Frost turns to see Anastasia Bok; Nightshade, smiling.

nightshade_signature_zpscb70a6c2.png

Nightshade, looking at the slightly-smaller female with a raised eyebrow, speaking in her thick Russian accent: Looks like you have a hard time keeping track of your man.

Frost looks to Nightshade, not knowing whether to be afraid, angered or just uncomfortable:Kensai’s my client. He’s not my ‘man.’

Nightshade: Neither is Warric. Maybe if you weren’t so busy... keeping track... of MY MAN, you’d be able to do your JOB.

Frost’s eyebrows furrow with a bit of anger:I’m not ‘keeping track’ of...

Nightshade cuts her off:Please... a BLIND man could see that you want my man. But my man needs a WOMAN... not a little letat.’

Frost:I speak Russian... and I’m not a little fly. I’m the SAME AGE as Paladin. And, who he’s with is up to him.

Nightshade:And he chooses to be with me. That is a difference between you and I. I wanted him, and I went out and GOT him. I ALWAYS... get what I want. He’s handsome, yes? He could be a model... like me. And he has sooooo much stamina...

Frost:Oh my god, I don’t want to know about that.

She raises an eyebrow and looks away in a moment of distraction. Then, she ‘shakes it off’ and looks back at Anastasia Bok. NO...  no... I’ve GOT a boyfriend. Well... not a boyfriend... it's only been two dates... and there hasn't really been a spark yet, but he seems nice enough...

Nightshade rolls her eyes: I sooooooooooo don't care.

Frost: Anyway... I've GOT someone... someone NOT Warric. Warric and I are just friends... not even that... we’re just co-workers.

Nightshade: As long as it’s just that... co-workers, we won’t have a problem. Not that you COULD take my man, but, I would find it as a personal ATTACK if you tried.  I’d hate for us to be enemies. I considered Lorlei Spice to be my enemy... if even for one night. SHE was a fighter... the best that 4CW had to offer. I beat her in minutes. I dislocated her shoulder and made her tap out, crying. You, my little letat’, you are NOT a fighter. I’d hate to think what would happen to YOU... if I considered you... an enemy.

Frost felt the fear overcome her. Nightshade was right. Frost WASN’T a fighter. Nightshade was. Nightshade beat the best in the women’s division last Storm Front... in her debut match. Nightshade made it clear that Anastasia Bok was the new Queen of 4CW in one match. Courtney Frost was a translator, a manager, a valet. None of those things were close to ‘fighter.’ In what could laughably be called a ‘fight’ between the two, it wouldn’t be pretty.

Frost wanted to be brave, but ‘it’ wasn’t there. Frost, visibly shaken, hurriedly tries to think up a response, but the moment passes, and a third voice joins the conversation. It was Warric; Paladin Wells; arriving at the table blissfully unaware of the conversation that just transpired.

Paladin: SO, how are my ladies? Oh wow... that... that... that came out wrong. Let me start again. How’s everything going here?

Nightshade put on an disingenuous smile and leaned in to kiss Paladin on the cheek (staring at Courtney Frost the entire time) as Frost was still speechless from the female grappler’s last comment.

Nightshade: Oh, just talking about make-up and girly things.

A frightened Frost could only respond: Uh... yeah.. girly things.

Nightshade, talking to Paladin: Are you ready to go?

Paladin looks to Frost and gives a polite nod of the head: See you next show.

He then turns to Nightshade: Yeah. Let’s go.

Nightshade gives an almost-evil smile to Frost, and then takes hold of Paladin’s arm, as the two start to walk away.

Frost just watches as Paladin & Nightshade head down the corridor toward the entrance. As Paladin opens the door to the outside, he looks back to Courtney Frost as she watches them walk away. Their eyes meet for an awkward moment before both Frost and Paladin look away with a slight bit of embarrassment.

The 4CWtron fades out leaving the arena in complete darkness for a second or two, before a blue glow emanates around the arena and ‘By Myself’ begins to play through the PA system as the crowd all rise to their feet looking towards the entrance way.  Through a midst of smoke, through the curtains steps the large frame of Chris ‘Belly’ Marks wearing his black bottoms and his sleeveless denim top covering his black t-shirt with his trademarked skull embroided on the front, a bandana wrapped around his head he steps onto the stage to a chorus of Boo's from the crowd as he raises one arm high into the air raising aloft the 4CW Universal Championship belt before continuing his walk down the aisle towards the ring.

Phoenix: The next match scheduled is in the Heavyweight Tournament and it features this man, Chris Marks taking on his Gallows End 2012 opponent, Carstein

Jeffrey: He was the Universal Champion then and as you can see Scott, he is still the Universal Champion now.

Phoenix: Not Officially Ray, we went through this last week

Jeffrey: And Belly has told Chris Drake that if he wants his title belt back, then he is to come and take it from him, and I haven't seen Chris Drake around backstage today, have you?

Phoenix: What are you suggesting?

Jeffrey: I'm not suggesting anything, only pointing out that Belly called out Drake and he has been nowhere to be seen.

Chris Marks continues his walk down the aisle and then heads around the ring until he reaches the steel steps, where he slowly climbs and then holds out his hand towards Sarah Loveless who was just about to announce Belly's arrival, but before she can get her words out, the big man has demanded the microphone which Sarah Loveless happily obliges as she hands Belly the microphone before quickly scurrying across the ring to the other set of steps and stepping out of the ring as Chris Marks enters and his music is cut off.

Belly: Hello Friends

Chris Marks chuckles to himself as the crowd let their negative feelings known as he greets them with his traditional greeting, remembering at the same time, what he had said on the last Storm Front before raising the microphone back to his lips as he addresses the crowd.

Belly: I will keep this short and to the point, given that your attention span diminishes every minute you have to concentrate...  On the last Storm Front, I spoke slowly and clearly so that all of you and our new glorious leader, Chris Drake could understand... If he wants me to relinquish  my Universal Championship Belt, then he was to come here tonight and take it from me.

A small section of the crowd begin a chant for Belly, although they are clearly in the minority as the chants for Drake quickly engulf the Belly chants until they are inaudible amongst the majority.

Jeffrey: Belly is calling out Chris Drake again, so where is our new boss?

Belly:  I am here and waiting... Chris Marks begins to pace slowly back and forth as he continues to look onto the entrance ramp awaiting the arrival of Chris Drake Why am I not surprised, a supposed Grand Slam Champion, been away from the ring too long he has forgot what its like to be called out... Or maybe he has taken one too many shots to the head over the years and simply doesn't understand when he is being insulted... I will make it simple for you Drake... I am not moving until you come out here and grace us with your almighty presence and either apologise to me or try and take the title from me.

Phoenix: Chris Marks talked about respect last week and yet once again he has come out here and making demands and showing no respect himself.

Jeffrey: And I suppose you call being ignored by a supposed friend and colleague, respectful.. Chris Drake is no saint in this story Scott.

Just as Chris Marks raises the microphone to his lips once more, "My Way" by Limp Bizkit hammers through the PA system causing the crowd to erupt in a loud ovation which only gets louder as stepping through the curtain onto the ramp is the newly appointed General Manager of 4CW, Hugh Knowles whom also has a microphone in hand

Phoenix: It may not be Chris Drake, but Hugh Knowles wasn't prepared to let Chris Marks take over this show

Jeffrey: Chris Drake sending out Hugh Knowles instead of facing Belly himself.

Knowles: Before you get too carried away Mr Marks, you know as well as I do that Chris Drake is not here tonight, I told the whole world just as much two weeks ago when I announced that I would be running the more day to day operations and yet you still find the need to come out here tonight and hold the show up by demanding he comes out to take back the Universal Championship belt which is now vacant and does not belong to you..

The crowd begin to cheer and a 'Knowles, Knowles, Knowles' chant breaks out around the crowd, causing Hugh to pause his speech as he lets the crowd chant get louder and louder, but it is cut off abruptly by Belly who wasn't prepared to hear the crowd chant for the General Manager

Belly:  Chris Drake might not be here tonight, but why is that Hugh... On the last Storm Front, I told Drake to meet me here tonight and surprise surprise he doesn't show up... So don't you come out here trying to make it sound like I am making irrational requests by demanding someone appear who isn't in the arena, I am not one of your minions who you can talk down to, I am not a typical sheep like Carlos Starr or Jack Valentine that will do what I'm told without question or thought... I am smarter than you and thus will not be talked down to.

Knowles: Well if you are as smart as you claim to be Mr Marks, you will know what I am going to say next...

Hugh Knowles lowers his microphone, waiting for Chris Marks to retort, but Belly does nothing but continue his stare from the ring up to Hugh Knowles' position on the top of the ramp.

Knowles: No? Well let me enlighten you.. I have just been on the phone to Mr Drake, and he has confirmed that on the next Storm Front, you will get your wish and he will be standing in the middle of that ring you are in now, so you shall have no problem in finding him and then you can say whatever you need to, face to face.

Chris Marks looks shocked by that announcement from Hugh Knowles as the crowd begin another chant for the owner of 4CW, Chris Drake.

Phoenix: Whoa.. Next week, Chris Drake will be here on Storm Front...

Jeffrey: So says Hugh Knowles...

Phoenix: Belly doesn't seem to happy with that bit of news..

Jeffrey: It's typical Chris Drake though, trying to do everything on his terms and making Belly wait, all of this could have been avoided if he had just turned up tonight as Belly had requested.

Phoenix: I think you mean demanded, not requested and Chris Drake is showing that this is his company and he does things on his terms, nobody else's..

Chris Marks goes to raise the microphone to his lips once again, but Hugh Knowles beats him to it and speaks first.

Knowles: Oh and as for your threat of not moving until Mr Drake made an appearance, I have no problem with that what so ever Mr Marks, you can stay exactly where you are, because your opponent, is eagerly awaiting to come out here....

As soon as Hugh Knowles finishes his last word, Rob Zombies, "The Lord's of Salem" begins to blare out around the arena and the crowd begin to cheer as out through the curtain onto the ramp, walking past Hugh Knowles who has stepped aside is Marie Dubois who stands with one hand on her hip as she looks over to the opposite end of the stage and through a mist of red smoke, rising through the smoke from under the stage is The Lord of the Night, The Midnight Aristocrat, The Vampire Warrior himself, Carstein.  He steps through the thick red smoke and begins to walks down the aisle, closely followed behind by Marie Dubois.

Phoenix: It looks like Hugh Knowles had Belly's cards marked tonight, he had an answer for everything, and when Belly threatened to hold up the show, here comes the answer, Carstein.

Jeffrey: Belly isn't too happy about this, as it seems he is not interested in competing here tonight

As Carstein has walked up the steel steps and begins to enter the ring, Chris Marks has exited the ring through the ropes and jumps down to the floor below, adjusting his title belt on his shoulder as he begins to walk around the ring, towards the ramp, as he motions with his arm, by waving it in the direction of Carstein and the referee that he isn't interested.

Phoenix: What is he doing.. he talks about respect and here he is, walking away from his opponent... This is a tournament matchup, if he walks away, he will forfeit his place in the tournament.

Jeffrey: I don't think Belly is bothered about the tournament, he walked out of Revival, just like he is walking out of here tonight

Chris Marks has reached the bottom of the ramp, as he turns back towards the ring once again where Carstein is standing inside being held back by the referee as he is shouting for Belly to get back and fight him, but Chris Marks isn't interested as he taps his title belt draped over his shoulder and smirks before turning around to walk back up the ramp.

Just as Belly starts walking up the ramp, 'Supernova goes Pop' by Powerman 5000begins to play through the PA system which stops Belly in his tracks as the crowd quickly change their chanting from jeers to cheers as they all turn to the entrance ramp and see Jack Valentine rushing through the curtain and stopping as he reaches the edge of the ramp, looking down on a confused and rather irate Chris Marks who cannot believe Jack Valentine has intervened in his business once again.

Jeffrey: What is he doing out here, this is nothing to do with him..

Phoenix: Maybe he just isn't going to let Belly walk out like he did at Revival..

Jeffrey: It is nothing to do with Valentine what Belly does though, this is not his match, it is not his business..

Jack Valentine doesn't move from the top of the ramp as he just continues to stare down at Chris Marks, who has slowly removed the title belt from his shoulder and is holding it by the end of the strap, down by his side as he is expecting Mad Dog to begin his approach, but just then, from behind he is hit with a forearm shot, followed by another as Carstein had seen enough and taken the opportunity and decided to take matters into his own hands as he jumped through the ropes and attacked Belly from behind.

Jeffrey: Now it is two on one, how is this fair Scott

Phoenix: How is it two on one, Valentine hasn't moved from the top of the ramp.

After a couple of forearm shots, Carstein grabs a hold of Belly and throws him towards the ring apron, where he turns and his back collides with the edge of the ring and a look of pain is seen on the big man's face as the crowd begin to cheer for Carstein who looks back cautiously at Jack Valentine still standing at the top of the ramp, before turning back to the ring to see Chris Marks had lifted his legs up onto the apron and rolled under the bottom rope, throwing his title belt toward the referee in doing so, who is quick to retrieve the belt and kick it into the corner of the ring, under the bottom turnbuckle, out of the way as Carstein runs and slides under the bottom rope and the referee officially calls for the bell to begin the match.

Phoenix: We will be back after this quick commercial break with our Heavyweight Tournament match up

CommericalBreak_face_zps09a84193.png

Phoenix: Welcome back to 4CW Storm Front and this match is just about to start and during the commercial break we have been joined at the commentary booth by Jack Valentine

Jeffrey: It's great to see you again Jack..

Phoenix: That wasn't what you were saying a minute ago Ray..

Valentine: I'm sure it wasn't Scott. How quickly things change, ain’t it so Jeffery? This time last year, you were an honorary New Redemption member with your own T-Shirt and all. Now you’re back to a whiny little puss.

Jeffery: ........

Valentine: Could always count on you Ray. Anyway, it looks like I arrived just in time, as I thought Belly was going to walk out again like he did at Revival.

Jeffrey: What business of yours is it if he was walking out or not?

Valentine: I was just coming out here for a good view of the match, I’ve always had good timing, I never even knew he was trying to walk out…..again.

Jeffrey: Yea, I am sure..

Carstein and Belly begin to slowly circle each other in the ring, as Chris Marks tries to keep his eye on Jack Valentine sitting at ringside and is quick to move away from having his back to the man sat at the commentary booth, showing obvious a sense of mistrust for Mad Dogs presence at ringside, but at the same time, being wary of the man he is standing across the ring from.

Phoenix: The last time these 2 men were in the ring together, it was Gallows End 2012 and after a brutal matchup, it was Carstein with a noose around his neck and Chris Marks with his hand raised.

Valentine: Let’s not forget the interference from Senecca that more than helped Belly win that match.

Jeffrey: There are no rules in a Gallows Pole match, interference or not interference, it was all legal.. Belly won, it's that simple, he has a 100% record in the Gallows Pole match

Both Belly and Carstein come together in the centre of the ring in a collar and elbow tie up, but it only lasts a couple of seconds as Belly is quick to use his strength advantage and push Carstein off and into the corner turnbuckle as Belly poses in the centre of the ring, by flexing his large arms for Carstein which receives a loud chorus of boos from the crowd for his efforts, which Belly responds by raising his arms and "Booing" the crowd himself as Carstein looks on at the big man, working out what he is going to do before circling around the ring once again.

Phoenix: Chris Marks showing an obvious strength advantage early on

Valentine: Carstein needs to do something different or he will get squashed by Belly

Jeffrey: If you keep saying things like that, he will come out here and squash you Mad Dog.

Valentine: Pleeeeease.

Both men lock up once again in another collar and elbow tie up and as much as Carstein tries to push Belly back, Chris Marks is quick to spin Carstein around and back the Lord of the Night up into the corner, where the referee is about to step in to make them break the hold, but as he does, Belly releases the grip and delivers a left, a right and another left punch to the mid section before changing the target and wrapping his big forearms around the side of Carstein's head causing him to drop to a knee and the referee to try and interject himself as Belly looks around seemingly pleased with himself before grabbing a hold of Carstein's hair and tossing him through the ropes and onto the floor below with relative ease.

Jeffrey: This is looking like an easy victory for Belly as he is tossing Carstein around with ease

Valentine: Taking your opponent for granted is a sure way to get your ass kicked

Jeffrey: I think i am going to write down all these things you say and show them to Belly after the match

Phoenix: He likes to think he knows everyone, personally... Just ignore him Jack.

Valentine: Ignore who?

Chris Marks, slowly follows Carstein to the outside by sliding under the bottom rope and just as Carstein gets to his feet, he is met by a head butt from the big man and then one is followed with a second, sending Carstein stumbling to the crowd barrier to hold himself up.  Chris Marks slowly makes his way over to Carstein, taking enough time to allow him to look around at the on rushing support for Carstein from the crowd before grabbing a hold of the Vampire Warrior's arm and stepping backwards, pulling on the arm and Irish Whipping Carstein towards the steel steps, but The Lord of the Night knew what was coming and reverses the Irish whip, sending Belly shoulder first into the steel steps with a big thud and knocking the steps away from the ring.

Phoenix: Chris Marks took too long and gave Carstein too much time then as Carstein reveres the throw

Jeffrey: Come on ref that was an illegal use of the steel steps, do something!

Valentine: Oh now it's illegal. You know you can't have it both ways Raymond.

Jeffery: Don't call me that.

Carstein looks on at the fallen Chris Marks on the floor and then sees the steps that had moved away from the ring, and instantly makes his way over to them, climbing them as if they were a stairway to heaven before leaping from the top step, delivering an elbow to the back of Belly's head as the referee steps out of the ring to the floor below, trying to tell Carstein to take the match back inside the ring.  The crowd are pleased with what they are seeing however and so is Carstein, who has no intention of taking the action back into the ring just yet, as he pulls Belly back to his feet by his black hair, and keeping a hold of the head he forces the big man's head onto the steel corner post sending Belly reeling backwards to which he follows up with a punch to the large gut, followed by another and then once again with aid from Chris Marks hair, he send his head this time onto the edge of the crowd barrier before rolling the big man back under the bottom rope and into the ring.

Jeffrey: Come on referee, you have lost control of this match!

Phoenix: But everything was fine when it was Belly fighting out of the ring..

Jeffrey: The referee lost control of this match from the very beginning when he allowed Jack Valentine to be at ringside

Valentine: Watch your mouth Ray, I am here just to get a good view of what should be an excellent match, it's not every day we get a Gallows End rematch on Storm Front.

Phoenix: Are you saying Jack that you being out here though has nothing to do with Belly once again using your name in vein like he did last week in his constant talk of respect

Valentine: I’m not saying anything. If he feels distracted because he runs his mouth and carelessly uses my name and knows I have a history of carrying out my threats. Well, then that’s on him.

Carstein rolls himself back under the bottom rope as he follows Belly and the referee back into the ring, as he stands up and looks down on the fat man still laying on the canvas, but doesn't waste any time as he picks up the large leg in front of him and delivers a kick to the back of the thigh, followed by a second and third.  Looking around for the crowds approval, and more importantly the approval of Marie Dubois, he picks up the second leg and then drops to his knees, delivering a head but to the lower abdomen area of Belly causing his opponent to instantly grab his groin and let out a groan in pain.  The referee gives a cautious warning to Carstein to keep his shots above the belt, which the Vampire Warrior shrugs off and makes his way around the large frame of Belly, who is trying to get back to his feet, but Carstein is quick to stomp on the fingers of the big man making him lose his balance momentarily from sanding up and then grabs a hold of the arm, straightening it out on the canvas before jumping and landing a knee t the bicep.

Phoenix: A good strategy here from Carstein, trying to keep the big man grounded, one which he is executing well.

Jeffrey: Well he doesn't want Belly using his weight advantage to take charge of the match

Phoenix: Carstein more than ever would love to get a win here tonight though and equal the score with Belly 1-1

Valentine: Of course Carstein wants a victory here, he didn't show up tonight thinking he'd take a loss... Everyone always wants to win. Except chubs in the ring there, who'd rather walk his fat ass up and down the ramp and then leave.

Carstein is keeping a hold of the wrist of Belly as he drags the big man up to his feet and backs him against the ropes before sling shotting him across the ring, but Carstein should have kept Belly on the canvas, as the big man reverses the Irish whip and sends Carstein running across the ring, on the return Belly goes for a clothesline, but Carstein ducks under it and return off the opposite ropes once again, but taking no chances this time, Carstein is flattened by a big shoulder tackle from Belly, as he made sure Carstein wasn't going to get out of the way of his large frame.  Looking around at the crowd, he reaches down and pulls Carstein up by his hair, as he drags him into the corner and begins to pummel him around the head once again with forearm shots and Carstein has no reply as he drops to a knee to try and evade them.  Raising his arm to a disapproving crowd, Belly smiles as he irish whips Carstein across the ring into the opposite turnbuckle, but follows Carstein up as he runs and squashes Carstein in the corner with a big splash in the corner, crumpling Carstein to the floor.

Jeffrey: I knew Belly was going to squash him...

Phoenix: That must have been like being in a car wreck with a HGV

Belly looks on with his smirk once again as he reaches down and drags Carstein away from the ropes a little, setting him up as he slowly climbs up to the middle ropes, raising his arm and jumping off and landing all of his sizable weight across the chest of Carstein as he stays in position and hooks the leg, the referee dropping for the count.

1..

2..

Kickout

Phoenix: I can't believe Carstein kicked out from that

Jeffrey: It was a slow count that's why Scott.

Belly stands up and looks at the referee with a disbelieving and angry look, but quickly takes his anger and diverts it onto Carstein as he grabs his arms and drags his limp body across the canvas, laying him in path of the opposing turnbuckle, and then he once again begins to climb the ropes from inside the ring.. This time he is facing outside of the ring as he begins bouncing on the middle ropes, ready to jump backwards, but he suddenly stops, then stands tall and shouts Belly Sault!! and goes to climb to the top rope, but the referee is quick to step through the ropes and tells Belly to not go to the top, which unwillingly, Belly stops and goes back to his original plan of jumping from the middle rope.

Jeffrey: What's the referee doing, we were going to see Belly fly...

Valentine: The ref was obviously concerned the ropes wouldn't hold his immense weight. Haha. Because he's fat. Bahaha.

Belly bounces on the middle ropes once again and jumps backwards for the splash but Carstein had been given too much time and raises the knees, as Belly lands onto them and begins rolling around in pain on the floor..

Phoenix: Carstein literally using his opponents weight against him then.

Valentine: And there is ALOT of it to use..

Carstein is slowly to his feet though after the sustained damage earlier and by the time he is back to a vertical base, Belly has also managed to reach his feet, but Carstein is first to pull the trigger and he unloads a right hand, and another, a third and a fourth as Belly falls back against the ropes and Carstein uses the momentum and the ropes to slingshot Belly across the ring, and as he returns, he meets the big man with a straight arm and fist to the gut, leaving Chris Marks bent over in the middle of the ring and Carstein from behind, takes Belly down to the canvas with a well executed Russian leg sweep and now its Carstein with the momentum as he looks around and points to the top rope and the crowd are well behind the Vampire Warrior as he climbs the turnbuckle and perches himself on the top rope, facing away from the ring as he stands up tall above the ring below, jumping off backwards with a moonsault..

1...

2...

Kickout

Jeffrey: Come on ref, you wouldn't let Belly do a moonsault, why let Carstein

Valentine: Think it might have to do with his IMMENSE weight Ray. He's fat. Hahaha.

Phoenix: Carstein nearly had the victory then, so close

Carstein thought he had the win then but Belly had kicked out just in time, but he doesn't waste any time arguing about the 2 count, as he pulls the big man back to his feet by his head, but once there he doesn't relinquish the hold, instead he turns him around and drops down delivering a vicious neck breaker and once again he goes for the cover

1...

2...

Kickout

Phoenix: Carstein is getting closer and closer to the victory here

Carstein is being relentless with his attack on Chris Marks as he can sense the end is in sight as he stand sup, feeding off the energy from the crowd as they clap along with Marie Dubois as she slams her hands onto the apron at the side of the ring.

Jeffrey: You said earlier that Carstein needed the win here tonight, but more than ever right now, so does Belly...

Phoenix: Either man would love to advance in the tournament for the World title here tonight and just as importantly for these 2, neither wants to lose the bragging rights by losing the match

Carstein once again drags Belly up to his feet and then leaving the big man unsteady on his feet, Carstein runs against the ropes, coming back towards Belly, jumps into a cross body , but Belly manages to catch him, but still unsteady on his feet, he stumbles backwards... Carstein's weight sending Chris Marks falling back into the ropes, and with not much help from Carstein, Belly goes backwards over the top rope whilst still keeping hold of Carstein and they both end up on the floor.

Phoenix: Both men over the top rope and fall to the floor right here in front of us at ringside

Valentine: Did you feel the earth shake then when Belly hit the floor, I thought it was an earthquake!

Both men struggle to their feet after the fall as the referee begins his count, yet neither man acknowledges it as they begin trading punches with neither man gaining the advantage at first, but blow after blow, it is the bigger man, Belly who gains the upper hand and starts to win the slugfest as he backs Carstein up against the apron and grabbing hold of his head, he pulls Carstein up onto the apron, laying down and deliver a elbow to the head as Carstein rolls into the ring holding his forehead, leaving Belly on the outside.

Phoenix: Wait.. What's Belly doing...

Jeffrey: It looks like he has had enough of this...

Phoenix: He can't walk out, not half way through the match...

Chris Marks holds his head and then waves his arm at the referee who is continuing his count and has reached 4, as Belly grabs his Title belt from the corner of the ring where it was placed by the referee under the bottom turnbuckle, and just as he walks past the announce table he waves at the referee again and can be heard to be shouting  I don't need this

Valentine: Where you think you're going fat man...

Valentine has stood up with his headset on as he shouts at Belly for trying to walk away again, this gets the attention of Chris Marks who turns to Valentine with a smile on his face and retorts,  "I do What I want.. When I want... Sit Back Down Puppy Dog..." At which Valentine throws his headset down and his face changes to a serious look and both men stare each other down as the referee hits 8 on his count, but just as he counts 9, Valentine points towards the ring and Belly turns around just as running past the referee is Carstein a he launches himself over the top rope with a suicide dive to the outside, but Valentine had pointed to Belly to turn around and his first instinct is to raise the title belt that is in his hand and hits Carstein mid air direct in the face with the title belt, stopping him kid flight and sending him crashing down to the floor, blood starting to trickle down from his head.

DING DING DING

Phoenix: This match is over...

Jeffrey: What? What's happening.. That wasn't Chris Marks' fault... It was Valentine, he never meant to do that..

The referee has called for the bell to the surprise of Belly as he looks round after hearing the bell, not sure what is going on until he hears the announcement from Sarah Loveless

Loveless: The winner of this match by disqualification and advancing to the next round of the Heavyweight Tournament... Carstein!!!

Chris Marks turns around and looks at Jack Valentine standing behind the announce booth with a smile on his face as he realises he has just lost the match, neither man saying a word, but the look of anger is growing on Belly's face as each second goes by and he turns then towards Carstein on the floor where Marie Dubois was trying to attend to him as he is only half conscious with Blood pouring from his head, but as soon as Belly drops his title, Marie Dubois almost falls backwards trying to get out of the way as Belly picks up Carstein and throws him straight into the steel steps at ringside as he lets out a loud scream in pain, and then turning around and pointing at Valentine, Belly walks over and drags Carstein back to his feet again before man handling and throwing him back into the ring.

Phoenix: The match is over, what's Belly doing...

Chris Marks turns around, looking where Dubois has gone, but she had followed Carstein into the ring, he then looks around again and sees Jack Valentine walking away from the announce booth, around the ring but smiling back at Belly at what has transpired with Belly being knocked out of the tournament.

Jeffrey: Look at Valentine, all happy and gloating... It was his fault Belly lost this match, he distracted him.. I told you it was two on one

Phoenix: It was Belly who was trying to walk out, if anything Valentine helped Belly by warning him.

Chris Marks stands staring at Jack Valentine as he walks around the ring and begins to walk up the ramp backwards, staring back at Belly which only infuriates the big man even more but with no one around to take his frustration out on, he notices in the ring, kneeling over Carstein is Marie Dubois once again and suddenly a sick smile appears on his face and looks at Valentine at the top of the ramp and with a smirk on his face, he slides under the bottom rope and into the ring.

Phoenix: Oh God no.. Marie.. Get out of there..

The referee tries to interject himself but Belly just pushes the small referee out of the way as Marie Dubois turns around, looking up at the angry large frame of Belly standing over her as she tries to cover and protect Carstein... Chris Marks reaches down and grabs a handful of The Belle from Hell's Dark hair and drags her to her feet as she lets out a loud screeching scream.

Jeffrey: This is what happens when you bring a woman down to the ring with you..

Phoenix: This isn't right, he has lost the match but there is no need for this...

As Belly is staring and snarling into the face of Marie Dubois, the crowd begin to cheer as the ovation almost lifts the roof off the arena as running back down the ramp is Jack Valentine, who couldn't stand back and watch Belly attack an innocent woman.

Phoenix: It's Valentine.. Mad Dog is here to save Dubois

Just as he slides into the ring, Belly lets go and throws Marie Dubois into the corner of the ring and is then quick to turn around to face the on rushing Jack Valentine and delivers a devastating clothesline, almost taking off Mad Dog's head in the process

Phoenix: It was a set up... Belly knew Valentine would try and make the save

Jeffrey: Valentine is soo predictable..

Chris Marks picks up valentine and scoops him up, holding him across his body as he shouts and then power slam's him down to the canvas dropping his whole body weight on top of Valentine's limp body as he then stands tall in the ring, looking around the ring for Carstein who with the help of a shaken up Marie Dubois has managed to roll himself out of the ring leaving just a fallen Valentine who went from saviour to victim within a matter of seconds, laying at the feet of Chris Marks who raises him arm in apparent victory as he surveys the damage around him, oblivious or simply ignorant to the reaction he is receiving from the fans as a smirk takes residence upon his face at what he is seeing fallen before him.

Jeffrey: Let me ask you Scott... Does Belly look like a loser now...  If that's what a loser looks like, then I never want to win..

Phoenix: That's all we have time for, but the bottom line Ray is that Carstein won the match, no matter how it may look right now

4CW Show Review

Please take the time to write a few words on each match and seg as you read thru the show.  I appreciate that the shows are quite long, but your comments on each part of the show that myself and my team put together are really important to keep us all motivated (myself in particular!)  Also, you guys are the ones who are writing most of the matches and segs, so it would be great to garner feedback from each other on the segs and matches you are writing.

This weeks show was compiled by Hilds, with Belly and myself writing the ending to a couple of matches, and making a few edits along the way.

Main Event

Intro (written by hilds) - This one wasnt in your review format, but I had to add it in, as the intro was small this week so I can see why you left it off, but not sure about the "Belly Stinks" signs, thats just hurtful hahahahahaha

Skill Set/Roddick Seg (written by onemike & RD) - Good segment, showing more of the relationship between the new tag team partners and Frost trying to be careful what she does and does not translate, can sense that this tag team is going to implode at some point, then Frost is left alone with Wells, but not sure how the thong got on Wells' leg, considering he and Kensai were just doing some wrestling practice in the ring, maybe this says more about Kensai than it does Wells haha...  Nice addition of Roddick into this segment, made it change the pace a little bit and added another dynamic to the skill set, and can sense something happening with Wells and Roddick down the line.

Paladin Vs Mad Dog (Latino, finish by Belly) - Was a well written and good opening match, I wrote the last third, but the match by Latino flowed well and thought told a good story, showing off both wrestlers in a good light with some good back and forth action with the rookie putting in a good showing against the 4CW veteran and defiantly in whole did itself justice.  Well written, Clear, Concise and tells a good story.

Carstein seg (Compy) - Whoa, no need to drag Belly into this haha... Gotta be careful what you say hahaha apart from that, it was a nice segment, bit of past history with the name dropping, but Carstein with no questions, no effiges, no mistake showed his intentons towards Rhysus, and who have to believe that somewhere soon, these two are going to collide and Carstein is going to have to back up his words

McSweeney Vs Rhysus (non-title) (Smokey Bear) - Well now we know why Rhysus didnt turn up for the segment with Carstein, he was preparing for his match against Brock... This was a good match, ring rust seems to be gone completely, as both men looked strong thorughout with some near falls and was an enjoyable read, whilst als being easy to follow in your mind as you read the match.  Good job.. and in kayfab.. Good win for Rhysus, getting his first win in the new 4CW, could this be the start of his eternal rise?

McSweeney/Rhysus/Carstein seg (Smokey/Rhys/Compy) - Brock  bringing out the Classic Combat Rules to get a piece of Rhysus next week, the third straight show of Brock vs Rhysus, this one being the rubber match for the title though, am definitely looking forward to seeing the Classic Combat Rules for the first time and really looking forward to reading that match.  Nice ending by Carstein, and now have to question what he is going to do next, as he seemed to give up a little too easily, I sense bad things in Rhysus' future...

Nichols/Clarkson/Murphy Seg (Mainevent/Renny) - Haha, When Nichols bumped into someone, I didnt for a minute expect it to be Renfield haha, he is all up in The Main Event's business lately hahaha.. Murphy must really like dinner with the in-laws... he really is a hero haha... Great segment though and the love triangle continues to grow, what is it with the women in 4CW as it looks like a few fights going to break out over women at the moment.  Nice to see Main Event still showing the effects of Revival, 4 weeks later aswell, says as much about Nichols winning attitude and wanting to compete as it does about the danger that Carlos brings to the ring.

Sery Vs Kensai (Heavyweight Tournament) (Sery) - Kensai advancing to the second round of the tournament, but there wasnt ever going to be a different outcome i dont think after the early attack by Kensai before the bell even sounded...  I was pleasantly surprised Sery lasted as long as he did and thought it might be over with the Senton, but Kensai came back and got the win...

L-A-C Seg () - Cryptic... I like... Not much else I can say, but I guess will have to watch this space and see where this goes.

Nichols Vs The Saint (Rhys, finish by Hilds) - That exposed turnbuckle is like a London Bus... you wait around for ages and nothing but then BAM 2 come along in 1 show... Alot of good veteran moves and uses of the referee by the Main Event, showing h has great ring psychology.. wow, I didnt see that end coming,  thought for sure The Saint had managed to get the upset then but apparently Nichols has paid off the referee haha.  A Good showing by The Saint, and came soo close to defeating the Grand Slam Champion.

Skill Set Seg(onemike) - Get the feeling that the Love Triangle is going to become a Love square with the introduction of Roddick into this, I think Frost will be the one who comes off worse if anything happens though as Nightshade doesn't seem to be one to mess with.

Belly Seg (Belly) - Wrote it, feedback appreciated

Belly Vs Carstein (Heavyweight Tournament) (Belly, with a dash of added Latino) - Wrote it, feedback appreciated

Match of the Night - Alot of good matches on the show this week... I liked them all for slightly different reaons, Mad Dog vsWells showed off 2 guys well and had some great action, Nichols vs Saint showed off some great eteran moves and ring psychology and The Saint came off really well, but I will have to go with Rhysus vs Brock, as Rhysus finally got his win and earnt a title shot in the process

Seg of the Night - I really liked the Nichols backstage segment, but I will have to go with the Skill Set and Roddick segment, as adding Roddick just added another dimension in the Skill Set storyline and am looking forward to seeing how it progresses

Most Improved - This week I gotta go for Smokey, as I really liked his match and showed his ring rust is all gone from his match writing.

MVP - It's a tie for me between Rhysus and Valentine as both men picked up victories and had important parts in the show aside from their matches.

Mid Card

Skill Set/Roddick Seg (written by onemike & RD) - hopefully it was liked. (btw, Paladin was getting dressed, and the thong was on his pants. Didn't express it well, i guess)

Paladin Vs Mad Dog (Latino, finish by Belly) - nice match RUINED by Kensai. i hate that guy. CRAP! that's MY GUY...

Carstein seg (Compy) - i really like the fact that everyone writes concisely. They get your attention, get the point out, and don't overstay their welcome. Good character development.

McSweeney Vs Rhysus (non-title) (Smokey Bear) - I like the non-wwe-ness of a champion winning a non-title match. THRoiuydf?

McSweeney/Rhysus/Carstein seg (Smokey/Rhys/Compy) - Good interaction. Again, i like how everyone gets to the point and doesn't just take up time to take up time.

Nichols/Clarkson/Murphy Seg (Mainevent/Renny) -

Sery Vs Kensai (Heavyweight Tournament) (Sery) - Good development of Kensai as a villian. Why he so mad?

L-A-C Seg () - Didn't know the history, but good segment.

Nichols Vs The Saint (Rhys, finish by Hilds) - Good match, weird ending.

Skill Set Seg(onemike) - Dat Nightshade a be-otch. (Wait til next show)

Belly Seg (Belly) - I don't think that the funny name does Belly justice. Good seg.

Belly Vs Carstein (Heavyweight Tournament) (Belly, with a dash of added Latino) - Good match. It's easy to beat up Valentine, when Paladin wears him down for ya. I'm glad Valentine got what he deserved. jk.

Match of the Night - I liked the Skill Set Matches. I Can't wait for a clean rematch between Valentine and Paladin. And I liked how Sery got over, even though he lost. Also, I liked Kensai winning. - But I'll say Belly vs Carstein. Not as familiar with the history, so i'm not as shocked as others at the 'turn,' - but good match.

Seg of the Night - no idea. everyone was good.

Most Improved - no idea. everyone was good.

MVP - no idea. everyone was good.

Skill Set/Roddick Seg (written by onemike & RD) - I am still liking the face/heel tag dynamic of the skill set. I love the "i will destroy you" banter. Rog Roddick is growing on me. His tennis lingo works for him and is fitting for the dialog. Fucking long though. Like rp length.

Paladin Vs Mad Dog (Latino, finish by Belly) - very well written and the finish works for advancing the skill set story and moving mad Dog along in the tournament.

Carstein seg (Compy) - strong seg by Carstein. Came across as a big name in 4CW. Nicely done Compy.

McSweeney Vs Rhysus (non-title) (Smokey Bear) - Brock being Brock with Rhysus showing he can always go. I like that when two big names go at it, there isn't a decisive winner.

McSweeney/Rhysus/Carstein seg (Smokey/Rhys/Compy) - a lot to take in but I like McSweeneys bit and everyone seems to want a piece of the bruiser.

Nichols/Clarkson/Murphy Seg (Mainevent/Renny) - me and Renny wrote.

Sery Vs Kensai (Heavyweight Tournament) (Sery) - again I am digging the skill set. Sery just isn't having the luck go his way just yet. I hope he turns it around

L-A-C Seg () - ok you got me. I want to see more.

Nichols Vs The Saint (Rhys, finish by Hilds) - not bad. It seemed like the same moves being used over and over. Wasn't a fan of the finish. That's two dq finishes in one night. This tournament is going to be a dq fest if it keeps up. I win so I can't complain too much. Haha.

Skill Set Seg(onemike) - good but long again. Onetruemichael is a machine with these segments but if you would rp more, you can get more character development in there and use the segs for little thing that affect the here and now.

Belly Seg (Belly) - I guess belly vs the boss is going down. What's gonna happen next week when the boss is here live? I'm hooked.

Belly Vs Carstein (Heavyweight Tournament) (Belly, with a dash of added Latino) - another dq? 3 in one night is tna-esque. I understand why that finish was used for belly but the no finishes add up in one show.

Match of the Night - I liked Paladin Vs Mad Dog

Seg of the Night - skill set. They were long as hell but good strong segments

Most Improved - Smokey did a good job on this show. Well done

MVP - Carstein came across great tonight. He's my pick.

Skill Set/Roddick Seg (written by onemike & RD) –
More tension building between these two. Not sure how long they are going to last as a team. Really love Kensai he is a real badass. Wells seems to try so hard to be nice it seems forced and awkward. Also when writing his text maybe just stick to on form of his name instead of switching between Paladin and Warric. Loved Rog in this segment, the tennis terms are amazingly written a good laugh.

Paladin Vs Mad Dog (Latino, finish by Belly) –
Perfectly written match to continue the storyline of the Skill Set. Glad to see Mad Dog get the win as I am a massive fan of him.

Carstein seg (Compy) –
Wow Carstein really has a hard on for Rhys. Well written segment. Carstein really is a strange unit. He does need to be careful with who he trash talks in his segments thou. You don’t want to get on the wrong side of “the Law”

McSweeney Vs Rhysus (non-title) (Smokey Bear) –
Makes sense to have Rhysus pick up the win to get one back after last week. Great set up with the finishes thou with Brock stopping himself from throwing a punch and leads into next week nicely.

McSweeney/Rhysus/Carstein seg (Smokey/Rhys/Compy) –
Glad Carstein popped up here again. Would have be odd for him to just forget about calling Rhysus out. Love the way Brock takes the high ground with his words. Hope we don’t  see a title change next week thou, would kill Brock’s momentum.

Nichols/Clarkson/Murphy Seg (Mainevent/Renny) –
Hope you enjoyed.

Sery Vs Kensai (Heavyweight Tournament) (Sery) –
As I said before Kensai is a badass and I am really enjoying him. Was always going to be tough for Sery but he did show some flight. Hope he comes up with something big next week to kick start himself in this reboot. I would like to see Sery get the 2nd chance later on.

L-A-C Seg () – Interesting, I do like mystery debuts. Hopefully more to come.

Nichols Vs The Saint (Rhys, finish by Hilds) –
Really intense match this one. Nichols showing his experience while Saint shows he inexperience a little in dealing with the ref. The Saint could really become a good Monster. Strange ending, I would investigate Nichols for match fixing. Great showing from The Saint. Puts him over very well here.

Skill Set Seg(onemike) -
Nightshade seems like a real Ice Queen. Once again Wells trying to be almost to nice which just makes he come across as a awkward teenager.

Belly Seg (Belly) –
Wooo we get our showdown next week! I do like how Drake doesn’t give into Bellys demands and wants to play it out his way. Next week should be a cracker. Belly not caring for the Heavyweight title really adds value to the Uni title.

Belly Vs Carstein (Heavyweight Tournament) (Belly, with a dash of added Latino) –
Liked Belly trying to leave and having Mad Dog come out was a good way to get him into the match. With the ended I might have preferred a countout on Belly and then Valentine attacking him.

Match of the Night – Nichols v The Saint

Seg of the Night – Skill Set + Rog

Most Improved - Rhysus

MVP - Kensai

The Blue Print

Skill Set/Roddick Seg (written by onemike & RD) - So many depths to these characters. Each one has so much going for them. Everything seems to be well thought out and well written. Love Rog Roddick's character and all the tennis puns, really brings a sense of humor to a serious situation.

Paladin Vs Mad Dog (Latino, finish by Belly) - Very good match here. Its going to be fun to read Paladin Wells going from rookie to superstar, which is bound to happen. Kensai comes in to ruin everything and it add mores tension to everything. I wonder if every superstar is going to give Kensai one good group beating lol!

Carstein seg (Compy) -Always love Carstein segments. Always very well written with great dialogue. Rhysus and Carstein is one of the feuds that I am most excited for. I think this one will really put Rhysus over the edge as a main event player true and blue.

McSweeney Vs Rhysus (non-title) (Smokey Bear) - Smokey Bear seems to have put alot of thought into his characters gimmick and it shows in this match. Little confusing at points I felt but it was a pretty good read.  Rhysus getting the win was logical if that is what they were building to was a match at the next show. First time Brock's custom stipulation will be put into effect.

McSweeney/Rhysus/Carstein seg (Smokey/Rhys/Compy) - I expect Carstein to get involved on the next Storm Front some how in the match between McSweeney and Rhysus. I don't expect Rhysus to win the title here. McSweeney is doing a good job with it. Good stuff all around.

Nichols/Clarkson/Murphy Seg (Mainevent/Renny) - More women drama in 4CW! They should just ban them! They cause so much shit here! Thats women for you. Murphy has always been a favorite of mine but Nichols never really has been active in 4CW at the same time as I have been. Not to familiar with the work. Good stuff again.

Sery Vs Kensai (Heavyweight Tournament) (Sery) - Wrote it, hope ya'll liked it.

L-A-C Seg () - Interesting, whats with wrestling and having to have cryptic messages all the time..

Nichols Vs The Saint (Rhys, finish by Hilds) - Pretty good match here. The ending of the match was odd, but it does seem like the match was all building up to it. Not to often you actually see a match end like that one. The Saint is really gonna be pissed!

Skill Set Seg(onemike) - Little humor at the end "How are my ladies" haha had me chuckling! Story continues to be told.

Belly Seg (Belly) - Belly always has well written segments. I can't wait for the one next week with Chris Drake. Been waiting to see if Drake is going to be caught up in a storyline or not.

Belly Vs Carstein (Heavyweight Tournament) (Belly, with a dash of added Latino) - Usually with matches that have guest commentary I get too distracted by the commentary. This one wasn't like that. Easy to follow along with. The after match was the most entertaining part.

Match of the Night - Belly vs. Carstein

Seg of the Night - The first Carstein seg

Most Improved - Can't really say at this point of the game.

MVP - Carstein

My Storm Front Review

Skill Set/Roddick Seg (written by onemike & RD) – LOL. Allen Iverson practice interview reference. As a Sixers fan that was funny. I like Kensai’s character the more I read about him. How serious he is but also boarder line insane, in the sense that he can attack at any moment. The love story finishes out the rest of the scene, gotta see how this develops and ties in with wrestling. At least I thought it finished the scene until Roddick appears. Very interesting. Dating coworkers is just never a good idea. The tennis puns lol well done. Batman line was funny too. I like how this is developing.

Paladin Vs Mad Dog (Latino, finish by Belly) – Wrote it. Hope it was enjoyed.

Carstein seg (Compy) – Not sure what Carstein’s beef with Rhysus is, but this seg touches on it as well as his match tonight against Belly and his past victims. Not a bad history lesson and a Rhysus bash. Expecting more later.

McSweeney Vs Rhysus (non-title) (Smokey Bear) – Great win for Rhysus, I didn’t know what to expect with McSweeney already having beaten Rhysus and Carstein threat looming. I REALLY liked McSweeney giving Rhysus a title shot. Just great stuff. I really enjoyed the match and the quick finish. Really well done.

McSweeney/Rhysus/Carstein seg (Smokey/Rhys/Compy) – Again loving the champ making the challenge. And I guess this would be the 3rd straight match between these two as someone else pointed out. Interesting. Classic Combat rules have to favor the champ, but anything can happen. I really like the “So be it” from Carstein as Rhysus blows him off. Probably not a good decision. I’m very much enjoying the McSweeney/Rhysus battles (which include the title) and this game Carstein is playing with Rhysus. Rhysus definitely has his hands full.

Nichols/Clarkson/Murphy Seg (Mainevent/Renny) – Well Redfield has to do something while Carstein is out threatening Rhysus. Poor guy’s only air time is with Nichols. Clarkson/Nichols romance heats up just a tad. Maybe to soon on the romance but The Law better do something. I did like the “Too cheap for crutches” line as Nichols is still hurting from Revival. Waiting for this to come to head for sure.

Sery Vs Kensai (Heavyweight Tournament) (Sery) – I gotta say I didn’t expect Kensai to advance. I thought he’d lose by DQ, but no dice. Sery did put up a good fight, but his ability will have to be questioned after this one. The match itself was a tad short but no biggie. Curious to see where Sery goes from here and who Kensai’s next opponent will be.

L-A-C Seg () – Wonder who this could be…..hmmmm. Oldie? Or newbie?

Nichols Vs The Saint (Rhys, finish by Hilds) – I’d be shocked if Nichols lost, but regardless the Saint made it interesting. Good commentary and good blocks of action. The ending shocked me. Jeffery said it all “How can Nichols have won after being almost rendered unconscious?” Nichols has zero momentum advancing in the tournament and The Saint looks like a sociopath. Where does he go from here???

Skill Set Seg(onemike) – Another episode of the best soap opera on TV since “Keeping up with the Andolini’s” went off air. Showdown between Nightshade and Frost. You can immediately tell that Nightshade is half man. With all the characters involved here, this has love (parallelogram?) has a really good chance of exploding.

Belly Seg (Belly) – So weird seeing Belly heel. But I think he’s doing a fine job and its working. I like the commentary conversation while Belly is speaking. Finally Drake will confront Belly next SF. Really looking forward to that. I like how this is right before Belly’s match as it leads…..

Belly Vs Carstein (Heavyweight Tournament) (Belly, with a dash of added Latino) – Right into it! Great rematch from Gallows End that never quite aired. I wrote the commentary for Valentine as I did enjoy the match. Really great length as most of Belly’s matches are and perfect for the main event. Valentine forces Belly to DQ himself and thus be eliminated from the title tournament. Still, Belly gets one over on the pooch by trying to go after Carstein’s girl as a trick! A lot to look forward to next week.

Match of the Night – Really good show. I personally liked Belly v. Carstein and Rhysus v McSweeney. I’ll take Rhysus v McSweeney as it had a better finish and I really like where that feud is going and with the title being on the line. Great job.

Seg of the Night – I liked the Skill Set to open the show. The Iverson reference was great as well as the addition of Roddick. More variables keep getting added to this story and you can’t help but get more and more sucked in.

Most Improved – The Skill Set. They’re rookies but it really doesn’t seem to faze them as they are all over the show, putting up great matches, attacking star wrestlers, and the cameras are constantly following them around backstage. No such thing as bad publicity. Keep it up.

MVP – I’m gonna go with Rhysus. Big wins lead to bigger opportunities and he’s got himself a hell of an opportunity next week.

Skill Set/Roddick Seg (written by onemike & RD) –
Haha, Roddick was great here, loved it!  Felt a bit odd starting the show with an “earlier today” seg, but there wasn’t really anything else that could go there.

Paladin Vs Mad Dog (Latino, finish by Belly) –
The technical start to the show!  Really cool match, enjoyed this a lot.  Mad Dog is great as always, and Paladin looked good too.

Carstein seg (Compy) -
Wrote it.  Thanks for the kind words guys, means a lot!

McSweeney Vs Rhysus (non-title) (Smokey Bear) –
Being the only champ in 4CW, every match with Brock feels like a big deal at the moment and this match was no exception.  I liked the story going in, Brock wants to prove himself as a singles star and Rhys wants to avenge his lost from the last show.  Nice sneaky victory, which leads to the next seg.

McSweeney/Rhysus/Carstein seg (Smokey/Rhys/Compy) –
Wrote the end bit with Carstein.  Really interested to see how Brock’s stipulation works in practice.  Should be a good match!  Good seg, set things up nicely for the next show.

Nichols/Clarkson/Murphy Seg (Mainevent/Renny) –
Haha, love these Renfield cameos!  I’m tempted to start a comedy storyline with Renfield.  Maybe he can become the new Phil Duncan and stalk Main Event with GTV style videos …. As for the actual seg, I don’t really recall Nichols and the Law feuding, so it’s cool to see two 4CW vets going at it for the first time.  Two really familiar faces in a fresh feud.  Good stuff!

Sery Vs Kensai (Heavyweight Tournament) (Sery) –
Poor Sery, can’t seem to catch a break!  Nice match, enjoyed reading it.  Can’t wait to see where Sery goes from here.  I have noticed that he seems to feud with the monsters a lot.  Synder, Inferno and now Kensai.

L-A-C Seg () –
Oooooh, mysterious!  Excited to see where this goes!

Nichols Vs The Saint (Rhys, finish by Hilds) –
Saint looked good here, getting the best of Mike Nichols (which unfortunately cost him the match!).  Fun little match, hopefully it won’t be the last we see of these two!

Skill Set Seg(onemike) –
Nice to see a proper women’s feud developing.  Chux tried to start a 4CW’s women’s division, but we didn’t have many user characters.  With these two, maybe chuck in Marie Dubois and we could bring back the Women’s Championship and have a nice little division going on!

Belly Seg (Belly) –
I’m really enjoying heel Belly, and can’t wait for the showdown next week.  Ought to be fun!

Belly Vs Carstein (Heavyweight Tournament) (Belly, with a dash of added Latino) –
Really enjoyed this match.  It felt like a big time main event match, and it all gelled together really well.

Match of the Night:
Tied between Belly vs. Carstein and Paladin vs. Mad Dog for me.

Seg of the Night:
Belly’s seg

Most Improved:
Skill Set, for the reasons Latino gave.  They’re rookies, but they’re coming across as big names.  Awesome stuff!

MVP:
I really couldn’t say!  Everyone played their roles great this week!

Misc. Thoughts:
A small thing, but could we have tournament brackets drawn up for the Championship Tournament?  Just to make things a bit easier to follow.  Oh, and I want to give props to Hilds for running everything so well at the moment.  Three shows in, and not one late show and nothing missing from them.  Really awesome job 🙂.

Almost God like? Maybe...

Thanks compy, the effort has been from you guys on the roster tho. You're writing the matches and segs so well done to u all for hitting the deadlines.

As for tournament brackets, I'll have a look tomorrow when im home from work. Never like anything with brackets to be honest. Damn chux making me hate the things...

That bracket idea sounds great!
