I got up to the episode where Deb found out about Dexter. Got kind of bored of it and never thought of picking it up again, read the first book.

I watch Dexter. Early on it was much better and since the trinity killer it just has not been as good. To much somkebody finding out who he is and them dealing with it. I must say that Hannah really did it for me in the last season nothing like a looper to get the blood pumping!
The last season will just be a question of does he get caught or does he kill Deb...
He wont kill deb. I think it will have an open end like 24 and he'll just carry on with a new set of rules.
I really need to find more time to watch Dexter..
I watched season 1 and 2 then missed it all until end of season 7 and now am Loving season 8 so far...
I really need to go back and watch what ive missed but just don't have that much time.

Yea, ir seems very obvious. The writing has gobe downhill since season 4, but I love the characters and love the dynamic between dex and deb. Very different in the last 2 swasons, but still enjoying it.
B, season 3 was the best one. Go back and watch that. John Lithgoe as Trinity was amazeballs...
I haven't watched Dexter since the last episode of season 4 or 5 where Deb saw Dex killing someone. I didn't get around to watching the next season but I heard I haven't missed much.

Wasn't season that season 4? Season 3 had Miguel.
So far this season isn't really hooking me to much. Ep 3 was fairly good but then the ended of ep 4 lost me again. At least Hannah is coming back soon 😄

Miguel was really good as well. After Trinity the series dipped a lot, but is still worth watching.
One of the best shows I've seen. Watched every single episode a little while ago through a span of time. Loved the whole concept of it. Its funny how many times he almost gets caught. I'm sad that its over and its weird the way that it ended. Just something seemed missing.

It's back on UK TV on July 7th, and it's the last series.
Any one else watch this? I've seen it since the very start, and it's the only program I've watched that has made me buy, and read, the books after watching.
Gutted it's the last series, but it has been a little laboured the last two series. The one that just finished should have been amazing as Debs had just found out about Dex's secret, but the series never really exploded that one. I'm really hoping the final series is stella. This program deserves a great send off!
