Never even heard of it, but will give it a chance if I'm bored enough... Something about taking a recommendation from Belly just doesn't sit right with me!
Seen the trailers, but something about the girl with a odd looking face puts me off.

Finally got around to watching the season finale, and I cant help feeling mixed feelings about it.
The thought of a season 2 with the town under ERep control does give a lot of possibilities etc, the main story arc of the eason kind of felt wasted, not in a sense that it wasn't of value to the season, but it seemed to get cast aside and then what could have possibly been a major show changing story arc with Nolan being killed, was simply reversed by magic and then the story continued for the les show changing death of Irisa...
A 2nd season without Nolan would have changed the face of the whole show from ts foundations, with relationships having to be redefined and re-established and a new focus made for the season as his death would have far reaching effect and consequences, yet a second season without Irisa does not have the same ramifications and no other character will really be affected by this death. The only hope is about how the death will affect Nolan and his grief allowed to surface...

HAs anyone else been watching Defiance? IT is Syfy's first big Sci-Fi series since Stargate Universe was canceeled a few years ago... From the reviews I was reading before it started, I was expecting something a little different, and It feels like it is taking a bit of time to get going etc... At the moment its feeling like a modern day version of Vegas (Which is another show ive been enjoying, but fear its going to be cancelled)
But, I have missed a good Science Fiction series lately and it is filling that void, but with Falling Skies starting back again soon, I think it is definatly going to need to pick up the pace to be able to compete on the same level that Falling Skies does.
One good thing about Definace I found though is that the UK is getting the episodes 24hours after the US which is always a good thing.
