We open on a nicely decorated office with a large 4CW logo on the the wall behind a secretary's desk. The young secretary is plain, yet pretty in a very understated way. She looks through her glasses at her at the phone on the large oak desk as it shouts out with a low buzz. She answers.

Secretary: Yes, sir. Right away sir.

She hangs up the phone and looks straight ahead at a man sitting on a black leather sofa, his face behind a newspaper.

Mr Andolini will see you now sir.

The newspaper is folded up by the man. It is revealed to be none other than "Main Event" Mike Nichols. He stands up off the sofa in his custom made suit. He walks along beside the secretary's desk shooting her a slight glance. She smiles shyly at him before putting her face back into her phone. Inside the office of the 4CW owner we see a very well decorated office with the owner of the largest wrestling company in the world sitting behind a large cherry wood desk. He glances up at Mike Nichols, stands, and welcomes him with a handshake.

Mr. Andolini: Have a seat Mike. I hope everything is to your liking.

Nichols sits down in the high back leather chair matching the one the owner sits in. He crosses legs and leans back.

Nichols: I appreciate you taking the time to meet with me. I know you're busy with the wedding and all.

It's no problem,  Mike. It's not everyday a star of your caliber is in my office. After all you were in the first Hall of Fame class here in 4CW.

Don't forget the first-ever Grand Slam winner in history.

Mr Andolini smiles slightly unamused but continues the conversation to humor Nichols.

How can I forget Mike? You never let anyone forget that. But enough of the small talk as you said I am busy with the wedding so let's cut to the business at hand.

Okay we can do that. I like a straight shooter. I'm sure you know why I'm here. I received the contract offer you faxed me.

Before Nichols can finish, Mr Andolini shakes his head and interrupts.

Let me guess, that's not enough money for a "star" of your quality right? Look after the way you left the last time you're lucky to be getting an offer in the first place.

Nichols smiles and chuckles a bit before responding.

Actually the money is quite fine. I just would like to add one small request to the offer.

The owner holds out his hands as if he's waiting for Nichols to give the request.

Since I left here last I have opened three Syndicate gyms and a wrestling school all of which are very successful. At my home school in Miami there's a student there who I would like to have you give an opportunity to. I think he is a star in the making and 4CW would be well off to sign him now before he goes anywhere else.

The owner look surprised at Nichols' request.

I have to say I'm kind of surprised. Mike Nichols thinking of someone other than his self. That is completely unexpected.

What can I say, the time off has given me a chance to get some perspective. Trust me when I say this kid will be better than I ever was. And I don't need to tell you how good I am because you already know.

The owner reaches forward to his phone and press the buzzer signaling his secretary to come into the office. After a moment the young secretary walks into the office and stands next to Nichols.

Angela, take a note: send a revised copy of the contract to Mr. Nichols with the clause that when he sees fit he is allowed to bring one and only one of his students into 4CW under a rookie's contract.

Angela writes down her boss's request and slowly makes her way out of the office closing the door behind her.

Okay, Mike request granted. If there isn't anything else I must be going on to my next appointment. The wedding caterer is on her way right now.

No sir, I believe that covers it all. Thank you very much. It was a pleasure doing business with you again as always. The contract will we be reviewed by my attorneys, signed, and faxed by the end of the week.

The two men shake hands and as Nichols stands up to leave, Mr Andolini buzzes is his secretary once again. She walks in and comes face to face with Nichols once again. He looks her up and down. She gets wide eyed and smiles.

You have an athlete's body. If you ever want a one on one training session, let me know. I'll fly you down to Miami and I'll work you out for a bit. Satisfaction is always guaranteed. .

Nichols winks at Angela. She turns three shades of red as Nichols hands her his business card and walks out.

Class has just ended at Mike Nichols’ Syndicate Wrestling Academy. Nichols, looking like he just had a hell of a workout, walks into his office. The walls are decorated with his career achievements, from his framed football jersey from college to the wall behind his desk that is arranged with his 4CW Championships. He grabs a towel off of his black marble desk and wipes his face. He sits down on the floor of his office and begins a set of sit ups. After knocking out his first set, he takes his shirt off and grabs a bottle of water from the mini fridge behind his desk. As he takes his first sip, his phone begins to buzz, signaling that a text message is awaiting. He picks up his Samsung Galaxy S4 and looks at the text.

From: 4CW Offices
To: All active 4CW talent
Message: 4CW Revival is taking place from Wimbley Stadium in London, England on June 30, 2013. One match on the card. Battle Royale for a 4CW Championship. Which championship is still yet to be decided. Make flight and hotel arrangements and fax them to the office no later than 5pm on June 21, 2013. Direct any related questions to Angela at Mr. Andolini’s office.

Nichols: (Inner monologue) Angela, huh? I should direct a question her way and see what her hotel arrangements are.

As Nichols looked to set up another conquest, there is a knock at the door.

It’s open!

In the door walks Nichols’ best friend and business partner, Chris Grant. Grant smiles and reaches for a handshake but Nichols, playfully swats his hand away and hugs his friend, in the process wiping a days worth of sweat on Grant’s suit. Not impressed, Grant grabs Nichols’ towel and wipes some of the excess off.

Grant: You realize that you now owe me a new suit.

(laughing) Yeah, go down to the Men’s Wearhouse and pick up another of your “expensive” suits and I’ll pay you the $50.

Grant shoots Nichols a fake smile.

This is the one you bought me for my birthday. Remember the trip to Milan?

Nichols’ smile quickly washes away, realizing the price of the suit.

Take it to my cleaner. I’ll get it cleaned for you and we will call it even. My bad. Or…..(looking at his phone) I’ll get you a new one in London.

Nichols shows Grant the message about Revival. Grant makes a face Nichols doesn’t like.

What??

Sorry, bro. I can’t go to London with you. It’s mom’s birthday. You know she’ll kill me if I skip out on her to go to London with you.

Dude, your mom is single and has like 17 kids. She will be busy trying to remember all their names. She won’t miss one.

Eat a dick. She only has 6 and so what if she has a lot of kids and no husband? She hasn’t found the right guy yet to settle down with.

Nichols shoots Grant a look of disbelief.

Your mom is going to be 63 years old. If she hasn’t found “the right guy” yet, he probably doesn’t exist. I don’t know too many 60 year old dudes looking for a woman that age with a litter of kids.

What the fuck ever, Mike. I still can’t go.

Nichols waves his hand at Grant as if to say, “To hell with you”.

Besides, you probably won’t even have time to chill with me, you have a lot of press to do next week. Here, Jenny gave this to me to give you on the way in.

Chris reaches into his pocket and hands an envelope to Nichols. He looks at it and then at his friend, quizzically.

You know I hate surprises. What is it?

Your itinerary for 4CW next week.

Nichols opens the envelope and his eyes widen. He looks at Chris and points at the paper.

Did you read this?

I did and all I can say is, sucks to be you. Haha.

Nichols flips Grant the middle finger.

Hall of Fame Luncheon? Charity cricket game? People really still play cricket????

Nichols drops his head to his desk. Grant chuckles before responding.

I hope you have some white pants and one of those gay sweaters in your wardrobe. Have fun on the pitch, Mate!

I hate you so much right now. Just go to your mommy’s and leave me to fend off the butter tooth British women alone.

Yeah, you have fun with that. I’ll tell the fam you said hi.

Nichols, puts his head back down and just points to the door. Grant smiles and starts to walk out.

Have fun, brother.

Grant leaves and the door shuts behind him. Nichols pulls his head up and looks again at his itinerary and lets out a sigh. Then, all of the sudden, his eyes light up and he grabs his phone and starts dialing a number. He brings the phone to his ear.

Yes, I need Mr. Andolini’s office please. Yes, I’ll hold.

A smile comes across his lips as he waits for the other party to pick up the line. As the other party answers, he begins to speak.

Angela? Yeah, this is Mike Nichols. How are you?.....Good. I am doing well thank you…..Oh no, I wasn’t calling for him. I have a question for you…….Yes for you……..Have you ever been to a cricket match before??

Inside the Pearl Restaurant in South Beach, Miami, Florida sits the one and only "Main Event" Mike Nichols. Along with him sits his best friend and assistant, Chris Grant, and his attorney, Kyle Ford. The trio sit at the bar. The unique white and orange decor matches the all white, summer suit that adorns the muscular frame of Nichols. Ford, sets his briefcase on the table and opens it. From the inside, he produces a set of documents. He slides them across the table to Nichols along with a pen. Nichols slides them to Grant and he starts to look them over.

Nichols: Alright, Kyle tell me you have good news.

Kyle Ford: I'm sorry, Mike. It looks like the contract Mr. Andolini signed off on for your student is null and void as it never passed through the 4CW legal department before Mr. Drake assumed leadership of the company and placed a stop on all legal documents pending his approval.

Nichols runs his hands through his hair with frustration. He looks over at Grant.

Grant: Uh, he's right and it gets worse.

Nichols gets a wide eyed look on his face, wondering how it could get worse.

Mr. Drake did not allow the amendment to the contract based on the grounds of...

Not wanting to mislead his client, Ford looks through some more papers and begins to read from the memo.

Mike Nichols isn't a real Grand Slam winner. Therefore, we cannot mislead our fans into thinking that training with a fraud will lead to employment with 4CW.

WHAT?

Nichols looks at Grant again for confirmation

He claims that since you never won Everlast Championship, you cannot claim to be a Grand Slam winner. It also says that "We are not in the business of lying to our fans. Mr. Nichols may be ok with that but 4CW is not.

That motherfucker!!

With the outburst of profanity, Nichols has drawn the attention of the bar manager. He walks over and addresses the table.

Manager: Excuse me, I really don't mind your language personally but during the daytime hours, this restaurant is open to families and we cannot have you just yelling whatever you want. If you want to say those types of things, please keep it down.

Nichols, clearly not in the mood to be talked down to, stands up out of his seat and grabs the manager by the tie. Knowing what's about to happen, Grant and Ford intervene. Grant pulls Nichols back as Ford guides the manager away from the table to do some much needed damage control. Grant let's go of Nichols, who holds his hands out to say he's under control.

I'm fine, Chris.

You sure about that? To me it looked like you were about to smash that guys face. As if you didn't already have legal issues to deal with, that would have been way worse.

I heard that Drake had a problem with me being the first Grand Slam winner but I didn't think it was anything more than petty jealous because he was the second but I guess now this is his way of sticking it to me. That asshole has control of the company. I can only imagine what he will do next. I should have Kyle look at all my dealings in regards to 4CW.

Paranoid much? I think you just need to chalk this up to a coincidence. Drake has appeared to be on the up and up since taking over. Plus the little shot at you and the Grand Slam was probably just that, a cheap shot reason for not approving your contract amendment and he probably just wanted to stop anything that Andolini had going before he lost the company. You know Andolini was under investigation by the FBI?

Really? For what??

Not sure but I am sure that Drake didn't want to get caught up with anything that he approved before the transfer of power

Nichols sighs and leans back into the high back chair, trying to relax. Ford returns to the table. He pats Nichols on the shoulder before sitting down.

Maybe you are right, Chris. However, just to be sure, Kyle, I want you to review all of our legal dealings with 4CW. I don't want Chris Drake to mess with my contract in anyway. I have some very lucrative merchandise deals that I do not want to lose.

Grant just shakes his head at his friends apparent paranoia as Ford begins to write some notes down on a pad of paper.

I'll look over everything, Mike. I have to be honest with you though, my specialty is real estate law. I handle all of your gyms and houses. If you hadn't fired your last contract lawyer, I wouldn't have had to take her place and honestly, since you haven't opened any more gyms lately, business has been slow.

Grant shakes his head and chuckles to himself.

Ok. Just go have a look and I'll try to find someone to help you.

Ford stands up and shakes hands with both Nichols and Grant before leaving. The waiter walks by and drops their bill on the table. Nichols pulls out his wallet and as he is pulling cash out he comes across a lone business card. He cracks a smile and puts the money on the table. With the bill paid and business handled, Nichols and Grant exit the resaurant.
