Psew psew psew! A few pyros open the show, as usual.

JR: "Welcome folks, to another edition of IFW Surrounded! I wish I could run down everything we have in store for you tonight, but with everything going on as it has been lately, I'm not sure anyone can predict what we'll see!"
Taz: "No doubt JR, we got some combustible elements all just waitin' to explode."
JR: "And all seem to be focused on the IFW championship. The champion, Kurt Angle, has requested some time to discuss exactly that, later on tonight."

First up, we get Los Colóns. They have Team 3D, and Carlito is fully expecting the attack from behind so he walks down the ramp backwards to make sure they're not taken by surprise. Well, they are and Carlito sees it coming but is taken out anyway. They run through Carlito, run Primo and Epico into the ring apron, then go back to Carlito to throw him off the stage, making sure he can't play any further part. Devon launches Primo into the ring steps, a formula that has served them well so far.

Match 1 - Team 3D v Los Colóns (w/ Carlito)
- Bully Ray beats down on Epico, making short work of the cruiserweight and tags in Devon just for fun. They finish him off with the 3D before Primo can recover to help out.
Winners: Team 3D

So they finally have a win! They celebrate in true Dudleyz style by getting the tables. Devon slides one in and Bully sets it up, then Devon rolls Primo into the ring and they put him through the table with another 3D. Done.

We go backstage to Jeremy Borash and his guest at this time.

JB: "Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time is Randy Orton. Randy, you requested this time to make an announcement."
Orton: "That's right. Earlier tonight I talked to Mister McMahon, requesting a second match against the Shield. He agreed, I'll be captaining another team at Unbroken."
JB: "That's huge news. You have two empty slots on your team, can you reveal your shortlist?"
Orton: "All I know right now, JB, is that Austin Aries will not be featured. If you want me to guess, I'd say John Cena will be out for a little revenge."
"Sign me up."

Orton and JB look over to find John Morrison has walked onto the set.

Orton: "You?"
Morrison: "Sure. Look, I'm not going to claim I bleed IFW or that the Shield has wronged me, honestly I don't care about you, Cena or the Shield. But one thing I do care about is this money in the bank briefcase and the shot it gives me at the IFW championship. I don't know what the Shield want, I just know that one day one, when they wanted to make their biggest statement, they attacked you and Kurt Angle. Last week I told Kurt that I respect him and what he's done for that title, and so if you're looking for guys to defend the honour of this company and it's main prize, I'm your man."
Orton: "You're my man, huh? I think you're full of crap."
Morrison: "What?"
Orton: "You, the guy who has repeatedly told the world that he only cares about three things, is going to stand by my side against the Shield? You're not my idea of a good partner."
Morrison: "I could say the same about you. You've made it just as clear as I have that you're after that championship. We're in this for the same reasons Randy, we don't want anyone taking Angle out before we can."

Orton thinks it over for a moment, staring off into the distance like he does, then nods.

Orton: "Alright, you got it. I don't trust you, but I've seen what you can do when you want something bad enough. You went through hell to get that briefcase, and again to defend it. If you bring that to my team at Unbroken, I don't care what reasons you have for doing it."
Morrison: "You won't regret it."

Morrison leaves. Orton turns back to Borash with a slight sigh.

Orton: "Yeah. I've heard that before."

We go back to the ring now for our second match of the night. Newcomer Justin Gabriel gets the jobber entrance, just standing in the ring. His opponent is Big E Langston, who slaps some powder between his hands and heads down for battle.

Match 2 - Big E Langston v Justin Gabriel:
- Gabriel gives Langston a good fight, catching him with some quick kicks and agile counters. Langston was expecting a much easier night, but in the end the result is the same as he picks Gabriel off the top turnbuckle as the cruiserweight is looking for a 450 splash and flattens him with the big ending.
Winner: Big E Langston

Langston remains totally emotionless as he has his hand raised and just leaves the arena having done his job for the night.

Backstage, Austin Aries is walking with his arm over the shoulders of Summer, the girl he met last week.

Aries: "Yeah, I'm kind of a big deal around here. I was the first world champion, and since then this place has become the biggest wrestling promotion in the world. They feel like they owe me, you know? And they do. But It's all good, I just do this because I love it. And because they pay me a ton of money. Seriously."

Aries realises Summer hasn't been listening, she's distracted by something in the distance.

Summer: "Is that...? Hey! Paulie!"

Down the hallway, Paul London turns around and tries to make out who is calling him. He starts walking over and then jogs as he realises who it is. Summer brushes Aries' arm off her shoulder and runs to meet him. They hug.

Summer: "I can't believe it's you! I've been looking for you."
London: "Hey Summer! How are you?"
Summer: "I'm great! Austin has been taking good care of me."
London: "Oh yeah? Has he?"

Aries has walked over by this point, and isn't too happy that his girl is talking with this other guy.

Aries: "Yeah. I have. So if you don't mind, we were in the middle of something."
Summer: "No we weren't. Hey, Paulie, are you doing anything after the show? We should totally go somewhere to catch up."
Aries: "Hang on, you're going to have to fill me in here..."
London: "We used to date."
Summer: "Used to date? Paulie! No, it was much more serious than that. He was going to ask me to marry him, but he got the call up yo WWE and said it wasn't fair to travel the world while I waited for him at home. It was so sweet!"
Aries: "It was sweet when he broke up with you?"
Summer: "The sweetest thing evaaar!"
London: "What can I say? I'm a sweet guy."
Summer: "So I went to wrestling school too, so one day I can travel the world with you and we can be together again!"
London: "That's awesome, Summer!"
Aries: "Well that's a lovely story, but as I said, we were in the middle of something. Summer, can we...?"
Summer: "But there's so much we have to talk about!"
London: "It's ok, there's loads of time for that. You go, do your thing and we'll talk later."
Summer: "Oh. Ok."
London: "It was great to see you again."
Summer: "You too!"

London and Summer hug a bit, but Aries pulls her away by the arm.

Aries: "Yeah. Always a pleasure, Paulie. Come on, let's get out of here."

Aries leads Summer away, she looks back at London over her shoulder.

We cut back to the ring, where the IFW divas are waiting. Gail is backed up by Naomi, Layla and Brie, who are all eager to get the match started while Gail is stoic and simply watches as the Nexettes come out. AJ leads her girls to the ring with a promo.

AJ: "Is it just me or are all of you getting kinda sick of this? From day one I told you resistance is futile, but you didn't listen. And now, here we are, four months later, with a trail of broken divas behind us, and still you want to oppose the Nexettes! I don't know if you're brave or stupid Gail, but it doesn't matter. I came to IFW to make a statement, and I'm making it. I wanted this womens championship, and I stopped at nothing to take it. Now I'll stop at nothing to keep it. I'll make this offer one time and one time only. Get out of my ring right now, and I'll let you walk away. If you stay, you won't be walking anywhere."

Naomi urges AJ on, none of the divas leave. AJ shrugs and sends her girls in. Kaitlyn, Ivelisse and Taeler all hop up to the apron.

Match 3 - Gail Kim, Naomi Knight & Layla (w/ Brie Bella) v Nexettes (w/ AJ Lee & Aksana)
- Naomi and Layla step to the apron, leaving Gail to start things off against Taeler. Taeler moves around, trying to find a good angle to attack from, while Gail stands totally still in the middle, staring a hole through AJ. Taeler lunges forward, but Gail steps out of the way, leaves the ring and bumps shoulders with AJ as she walks up the ramp. AJ grins as Gail follows orders, she turns back to the ring and tells the remaining girls that they should follow Gail's lead. Naomi and Layla are totally confused, but Brie steps forward and asks the ref to substitute her in. The ref allows it and the match is restarted.

Match 3 - Naomi Knight, Layla & Brie Bella v Nexettes (w/ AJ Lee & Aksana)
Brie puts up a good fight against Taeler early on, but the numbers game adds up and Brie's experience edge isn't really anything special. Layla battles back from a hot tag and hits the Lay-out to Kaitlyn, Brie spears Taeler off the apron and they both roll to the floor, leaving Naomi to score the victory by hitting Ivelisse with the Knightfall.
Winners: Naomi Knight, Layla & Brie Bella

AJ is furious that her girls lost the match despite Gail's walkout, screaming at the Nexettes to take Naomi out. Layla and Brie have Taeler and Kaitlyn occupied and Ivelisse is still hurting. AJ sends Aksana in to get the job done, but she also falls victim to the Knightfall and Naomi urges AJ to handle business herself. The champette doesn't accept the challenge, instead backing up and threatening revenge.

Backstage again now, and JTG is pissed. He doesn't bother knocking, he just barges in to Vince McMahon's office. Career suicide.

JTG: "Boss, I'm sick of this. You ain't gonna use me? Cena didn't get back in time and you still gave him the spot over me! I was ready! What's your problem, man?"
McMahon: "My problem?!"
JTG: "I'm here, I'm ready to go! Why aren't you using a brother?"
McMahon: "Quite frankly, I have bigger things to worry about. Goddammit, I don't even know who you are!"
JTG: "I'm JTG, boss. I've been here for years."
McMahon: "I know who you are, I mean I don't know who you are! Who is JTG? Why should I care about you? When did you last win a match?"
JTG: "When did you last book me?! Boss, I gave you every reason to give me the spot against the Shield and you turned me down for a guy who didn't even make it."
McMahon: "Listen carefully. A 50%- Hell, even a 5% chance of John Cena making the team means more than a 100% chance of JTG making the team. It's that simple. You want to be a John Cena, you make the most of every opportunity and you earn it."
JTG: "I know that! I've been told that my whole career. But what opportunity? Are you giving me matches? Are you giving me promo time? What am I supposed to be working with here?"
McMahon: "Make a statement. Don't just come in here bitching about it, go out there and do something."
JTG: "Do somethin', huh? You want me to do somethin'?"
McMahon: "I watch the show just like everyone else. You want to be the guy I remember at the end? Go be that guy."
JTG: "Aight. You asked for it."

JTG turns and leaves. Vince rolls his eyes and gets back to his paperwork, sure that nothing is going to come of this.

Back to the ring now, for tonight's main event! Well, the last match of the night. But it is a title match! So let's get to it. Dynamite Pro superstar Heath Slater is first out, flanked by David Otunga and Jinder Mahal. They reach the ring and Slater poses a bit. Silver champ Ezekiel Jackson is out next, the belt being carried by Brian Kendrick.

Match 4 - Ezekiel Jackson (w/ Brian Kendrick) v Heath Slater (w/ David Otunga & Jinder Mahal)
Silver championship
- Slater starts the match by grabbing a mic.

Slater: "Now Zeke, we don't have to do this. You can come with me back to D-Pro, and this band can rock the planet bay-bay! Last week was a mistake, but we all make mistakes. All you gotta do is call this match off and we can go. And you know what, man? I'll even let you keep the belt."

Kendrick tells Jackson that it's a great offer and that they should go, but Jackson does his flex 'n' yell in defiance. Slater tries to whack Jackson with the mic, but Jackson catches it and turns it into a book of Ezekiel uranage slam.
Winner: Ezekiel Jackson (retains silver championship)

As soon as the bell rings, Otunga and Mahal slide into the ring and start stomping away on Jackson. Kendrick hesitates, kinda pissed at Jackson for not accepting the offer. Slater recovers and joins in, making it a three on one beatdown. Kendrick has seen enough, he slides in and lays out Mahal with a dropkick and clotheslines Otunga over the top rope, but is caught from behind by Slater, who hits the jumping reverse STO. Slater leaves the ring before either man can recover, walking out and waving everyone off as if to dismiss this whole idea. He yells that he doesn't need them anyway, he has Camp Cornette.

Back to the interview area now, as Jeremy Borash is standing by.

JB: "Ladies and gentlemen, my guests at this time are the IFW tag team champions, the World's Greatest Tag Team, Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin. Charlie, Shelton, you defeated Team 3D three weeks ago with the help of the Heatseekers, but since that time Team 3D have been more vicious than ever. They've made their intentions very clear, they're coming for those titles."
Benjamin: "They can keep coming for them, they ain't goin' nowhere. We beat them once, and we'll beat them again."
JB: "How instrumental were the Heatseekers in your match at Chaos?"
Haas: "Too instrumental, JB. We didn't ask for help because we didn't need help. They didn't just cost the Dudleyz the match three weeks ago, they cost us the victory too. Yeah we pinned them and yeah we still have the gold, but no one watching believed we won that match."
Benjamin: "They think they were screwed? They were right. They think they deserve another shot? They got it."
JB: "You're issuing a challenge to Team 3D?"
Benjamin: "Everyone knows we need another match to settle this. They're busy putting the Heatseekers and Los Colóns through tables? Why? We're right here, we ain't duckin' nobody."
JB: "And what can we expect when you two teams meet again?"
Haas: "Resolution. Whether it's us walking out with these belts or them, there will be no doubt that they'll have been earned."
JB: "Charlie, Shelton, thank you."

Back to the ring now for the final time. IFW champion Kurt Angle's music hits, and he heads out in his Main Event Mafia suit. He reaches the ring and is handed a mic. Angle adjusts the title belt on his shoulder.

Angle: "Last week I told John Morrison that I didn't like looking over my shoulder. I don't want that money in the bank contract being held over my head, and I've put up with it long enough. Morrison told me that he won't cash in on me. Well, forgive me John but I just can't trust that. This belt on my shoulder is the most prestigious prize in our industry. You know how many elite competitors want what I have? Cena, Orton, Punk, Aries, the list goes on. I have this target on my back at all times, and I have no problem taking on anyone who earns a shot at my title. But you, John? You don't have to announce a date, you can show up any time you want and demand a match. That means I can never afford to give 100% in any of my matches until you do, I always have to make sure I have something left in the tank in case you show up. CM Punk challenged me to a rematch at Unbroken, and I accept. Now, I can beat CM Punk. I know I can beat CM Punk. But if I can't give it my all out there, there's no guarantee I'll be walking out with this belt. So understand this, Morrison. I need you to sign that contract. I need you to tell me where and when this match is going to take place so that I can be the champion this company deserves."

Sierra. Hotel. India. Echo. Lima. Delta. Shield. Angle looks around frantically, knowing what's coming. Ambrose is first to reach the security wall, so Angle focuses on him. Rollins sneaks up behind Angle though, and starts hammering away on the champion until Reigns and Ambrose can join in. The hounds of justice go to work on the champ, but Rollins breaks away as he notices John Cena and CM Punk running down the ramp together! Cena and Punk slide into the ring and don't even have to throw a punch as all three members of the Shield roll out and scatter to three separate exits. Cena helps Angle to his feet while Punk glares at Ambrose. Angle is cautious, but grateful of the help. He and Punk share an intense stare down with Cena watching on as the show fades out.

As promised...

Dudleyz make short work of Los Colon and put them through the tables - and Dudleyz v WGTT the rematch is all good in my eyes so bring it on!

Then we go to Orton/Morrison seg. I found it interesting. Faces and Heels vs a Common Enemy is always a good storyline and this is no different. Whether Morrison will work well with Orton and Cena (assuming that's who the third guy is) we'll wait and see.

Langston does his usual stuff... not much else to say.

Aries/London/Summer will no doubt provide some hilarious segments in the next few weeks...

Interesting development with the girls. Don't know what's with Gail's exit but she must be up to something.

JTG will never, ever be a solidified main event guy... but if anyone was going to tease it, it would be you. 😄

Jackson is a great Silver Champion. The title just fits him. It's not too high up on the card so that he's main eventing but it's no shitty Hardcore title either. He is a good worker and deserves some recognition and the Silver title is exactly that. This whole Slater thing is giving Slater some recognition working with such a solid champion. But I hope Jackson moves on to the feud with Kendrick soon.

And here comes the confirmation of Dudleyz v WGTT - good stuff, but will WGTT finally lose the titles? I'm really not sure.

I didn't like Angle's promo... I dunno, he just seemed a bit... scared? I get what he's saying, but he's the type of guy I'd expect to say Fuck you John Morrison, I'll beat Cena, Punk, Aries and you all in one night. Oh, it's true!

But anyway, The Shield. This is simple but effective booking. I love the fact that every time I hear that opening phonetic line, something good is going to happen. Interesting end to the show. IFW is entertaining as always and next week's show can't come soon enough!

Now go review my show, douche. 😄
