Here we go once again, you know the drill by now, this isnt a review of Raw as such, but more so my thoughts as I have as I watch...

Kicking off Raw with Vicki in the ring and then climbing the ladder, as she got near the top, you get the feeling that it wasnt her idea to be up there haha... I have a feeling, this vote on the WWE app could be the biggest turnout they have ever had... Oh WOW... Vicki has arranged for Cena to be Face to Face with Henry.. WOW.. that is ground breaking stuff by WWE...

Here comes Sheamus and he has now hit 100 victories in 123 matches in 2013 and is the first guy to do that for 2013.. Was a good match between the 2, even though I really dont like Sheamus.. a nice counter by Bryan from the Texas Cloverleaf, I had a bad feeling they were going to have all 3 of these "All Star" matches end without winners, at least we are not going down that route.

Team ZigZag are backstage, not sure I like hearing AJ whining about backstage drama etc, she seems to becomming a little obsessed with Kaitlyn, hmmm....  I guess this is the start of Ziggler breaking away from AJ and Big E which I guess would be a natural progression if they are going to turn Ziggler face, because he is going to have crazy support in Philly and AJ is at her best as a heel.

Here we go with the same Mark Henry video package...  and then another RVD clip, I guess if he cant be on the show, they wil keep pushing these highlight packages to introduce him to any fan who doesnt know who he is.

ToF vs The Shield up next, should be an easy victory for The Shield here going into MITB.. I actually enjoyed the fight between Rollins and Sweet T, he is good for a bigger guy, good win for Shield with Rollins obviously carrying Reigns.. But i have said it before, they have the classic athletic guy / strong guy combination that had been the staple of great tag teams throughout history...

Here comes Cena and i am actually looking forward to his reaction in Philly, Im gonna predict tonight Cena makes light of people booing him.... it should be interesting in Philly though.. HEre we go, Cena tries to make a joke, yet noone laughs... The conversation goes "u shud be scared", "Im not scared"... "Im gonna hurt you"... "I want that title".. Oh, so it was Henry who brought up people Booing Cena, they had to get it in there somewhere I guess.... Why is it that ever since Paul Heyman used the line about his clients dont fight for free.... Now everyone is using it. I guess we know how MITB is going to end though with Cena doing the 'unthinkable' and lifting Henry after he failed to on Raw..

I guess we are getting a good excuse as to why Curtis Axel has Paul Heyman as a mouth piece... He definitely needs to leave the talking upto Heyman and concentrate on the wrestling.. geez.. Good win for JEricho though and am glad they actually had the match have an ending.

Asking Barrett if he is speaking English... haha... nice to see Wade doing to Fandango what everyone wants to do when he comes on the tv screens.. I just hope to god that Vince's pet project doesnt get a super push onto the MITB, that would be awful, but being WWE kinda likely...  Im hoping that Sandow wins the MITB match and somehow costs Cody from winning getting into a mini feud with Cody after MITB

Great segment from the Wyatt family, one of the better video segs ive seen in a while, I like it.. "Obey Obey Obey Obey Obey"

I still have an issue with the Sin Cara lighting, it just really iritates me...  Even before this match starts, you know the result, these are the worst kind of "Time Fillers" Atleast the lights go to normal when Ziggler comes out... The crowd were awful though, never seemed to care for Ziggler or anything... the crowds seem to be getting worse, they really need to stick Raw to the cities that are known for hot crowds, it would come across sooo much better on TV.

So here we go with a WWE take on the Gut Check Challenge... why they feel the need to try and rip off a genuine good thing on TNA is beyond me, but i guess Vince thought it was a good idea so everyone around him nodded their head and said it was a great decision...   Noone grovels quite like Vicki, well Paul Heyman is better but that goes to most subjects haha... Funny how Steph had to reittirate what Vicki said about Undertaker because the crowd were too busy singing "Hey Hey Goodbye" haha... Here we go with the split between Trips and Vince getting more severe and can obviously see where they are heading for WM30.. and the rumours of Rock maybe getting involved in this story, im thinking Rock vs Trips at WM 30 for control of WWE... hmmm...  Anyways.. letting the WWe app decide, we know where this will end.. I find it hard to believe 25%  voted pass haha 'Nah Nah Nah Nah Nah Nah... Hey Hey Hey.. Goodbye'

New GM.. BRad Maddox haha, well he is a Triple H Guy ha

Surprised to see Kane pick up a clean victory over Christian, but here comes the Wyatt Family... nice little segway to lead into their arrival and I love their entrance music... Its just so fitting and kind of unlike WWE as it isnt big and out there, its subtle and almost chilling...  I cant help but get a disturbing though seeing them attack Kane.. I found myself looking for the Slop Bucket as they looked like the Hogwins hahaha The Husky Harris chants didnt annoy me so much, as Smarks are always going to try and prove that point, but i was disapointed with how dead the crowd seemed other than that, I would have rather they saved the Wyatt Family debut for MITB, it could have been much more impactful and again, the crowd would have been so much hotter.

What the hell was that backstage thing with Ryback... confused...

The Bellas at ringside, loving the dresses haha....  Bored of Kaitlyn now, they really need to bring through Paige from NXT rather than trying to push Kaitlyn etc down our throats each week...

What came first, the Chicken or the Egg... Why is Punk the best in the world... these are questions for the ages indeed... I cant see this match getting a winner though as its the week before MITB o its got to end with lots of people in the ring surely...  Good match and it actually did have a winner which I was again surprised about, but there was only ever going to be 1 winner if that is the case.. The best in the world... but here we go with D-Bry.. makes you question how much Kane will sell the attack from the Wyatt Family, will he make it to MITB?? I worry that they showed us this on Raw having it end with D-Bry hold the MITB means we wont see it next week.. hope we do see it, but now i am doubtful..

I have no clue why people have so many problems with this question.  The egg came first.  Chickens have evolved over the last million or so years, whereas dinosaurs were laying eggs hundreds of millions of years ago.

Gd recap B, as usual, this means I don't have any reason to waste 3 hours of my life watching RAW...

I don't know that putting it on PPV would have made it better since fewer people would be watching a PPV. I would have saved it for next week though, after the PPV.

I understand the old name chant when the guy sucks, like Tensai, but this character is miles beyond Harris so why aren't people just enjoying it? All it proves is that you watch TV, and/or can use Wikipedia. I like that fans are telling WWE that we don't have short memories like we're always told we do, but damn. At least do it when it makes sense to do it.

As for the debut itself, I loved the entrance but found attacking Kane to be way too cliché for a group of characters who have been so intriguing because of how different they are. Everyone shows up and attacks someone, there's nothing special about that. I'd have been so much more into it had Harris (heh) come out with the lamp, sat in the chair, blown the candle out and then been gone when the lights came back. Maybe just have the empty chair, rocking by itself. He'd have done nothing, but it would have been so much better than yet another ambush.

I'm guessing Kane is out of MITB now? He took the steps to the head so he really should be. Well, he took the steps around the head, then nearly had the steps dropped on his ankle. Oops. I'm thinking either Kane is out and they put Wyatt in his place, or the Wyatts show up again at the PPV and Bryan has to forego the briefcase to save him. Those would be the obvious next steps.

I think they went after Kane to show how big they were, 2 new (almost) 7 footers. Plus there are rumors of Taker at Summerslam, so this would be a good fit for him, on Kane's team

I can see how that would work the whole "Your family attacked mine... so Ill bring my family" and would definitely be a nod for the Wyatt family..  The rumours were of Kane and Taker against The Shield but since The Shield have moved away from Kane, its kind of makes more sense to have them use this angle for the Wyatt Family.

I have always hated the Sin Cara lighting. Now they last two matches I saw with him were with the World Champ and the IC champ. At some point you need to cut that shit out and I think this is that point. You shouldn't force two of your champions to wrestling in "mood" lighting just because some little guy thinks he's a bigger star than he really is. I never watched Mistico in Mexico so can anyone tell me if this is his thing or just a WWE thing?

It's just a WWE thing. Mexico has more sense.

You can't really blame Sin Cara. It's probably more WWE making them do it than him. Not that Sin Cara would have any say in anything creative based on his win-loss record.

Earlier Tuesday, WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann provided WWE.com with an update on Kane’s condition.

“Due to the head and neck trauma suffered by Kane, we precautiously immobilized his cervical spine with a cervical collar. He’s been transported to a local trauma facility and is currently undergoing further evaluation.”

Kane was carted off on a stretcher and taken to a local medical facility after the attack.

“After [Kane] was put into the ambulance, he was coherent; he was speaking to us and following simple commands. The biggest concern that we have is any sort of brain or cervical spine trauma that may be significant enough to either warrant surgery, or an extended period of time away from the ring.”

I guess that answers the question of Kane being out of MITB

Bray Wyatt will probably replace him, but he won't win.

I gotta say, Raw has been good lately. I think Orton and shamus actually putting guys over helps a lot. Plus the IWC must be sporting wood with D-Bry and CM Punk winning on the same night over top guys.

Oh and that Ryback stuff was just ridiculous. What the fuck was that? Last week he quits his own match, then this week, he doesn't even mention it, and hugs Vickie. I don't even understand what WWE were going for...

I majority of the IWC should have been going bonkers with how awesome internet darlings were looking on this last Raw. Daniel Bryan pins Sheamus clean. CM Punk pins Randy Orton clean. Daniel Bryan is standing tall at the end of the show. Bray Wyatt has an overwhelmingly awesome debut. Instead all that we hear is Daniel Bryan won't win MITB because he looked strong on Raw and Bray Wyatt was getting Husky Harris chants.

Both are backlashes from the way WWE has treated fans though. It's negative and kinda shitty, but still. There's only so many times we can be told "wrestling fans have short memories" and watch the routine of guys looking strong on the go-home show only to lose on PPV without getting sick of it.

its almost a rule, if u win on the show b4 the ppv, u lose at the ppv, unless its HHH vs booker T, he wouldn't let booker t get even one win in the entire 'feud'.

Well, if that is the case here, then we're looking at Randy Orton, Sheamus, and Christian as our potential winners. I don't see Christian or Sheamus possibly winning this match. Orton is possible if they're turning him right after the win, RVD is a possibility, and Daniel Bryan is the only other possibility that I see. Having three guys that can win out of seven may seem like a bit, but it's quite a bit narrowed down if you compare that to the heel MITB where I could see any guy in the match winning it except Jack Swagger.

They gave a reason for the attack on Kane, infact Bray was chanting it. Down with the machine, Kane is the Big Red Machine, the machine represents the establishment. Kane as the machine makes perfect sense!

See this is WWE's way of messing with the fans. It's usually a tried and true booking method. You lose on the go home show, you win at the ppv. However, there have been times where that isn't always the case. Plus, with 7 guys in one match, you have to have someone look like the favorite going in to the ppv. It's giving the fans a reason to buy the ppv. Now, that being said, they could have had Sheamus brogue kick DB and then climb the ladder at the end. It wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that he could win the ladder match. Also, having DB win the ladder match isn't the only way he can look strong and then go on to win the title. Cena is most likely going to have an underdog style win against Mark Henry. DB could easily lose the ladder match and then win a #1 contenders match against Henry on Raw and get the shot at SummerSlam then win the belt there. In fact, that would be better than cashing in on an injured champ. It would make DB look that much better for beating SuperCena clean at 100%.

I think it would be a SUPER rub for D-Bry to win MITB, and THEN win the #1 contenders match as well. He wins the wwe title from cena clean from the #1 contender spot, and NEVER USE the MITB briefcase, because he's the champ the whole time.

THAT WOULD BE AWESOME.  and never done before.

I have had that thought but you know it would never happen. That limits the gimmick too much.

Well, the best rub you can give Bryan is having him use the briefcase the same way Cena used it. He announces that he is using it to challenge Cena at Summerslam and they have a straight up match. That would make him the ultimate stand-up babyface with the briefcase and if and when he wins clean at Summerslam, he'll get the biggest pop he can get. I would love nothing more than to see Cena tap out to the Yes Lock and then hear the entire crowd erupt. What would make it even better is if Cena went nuts and turned heel on Bryan after the match. That would give you a long-term program and top heel in the company.
