WWE released a total of 18 wrestlers yesterday following their Q3 conference call with investors. The names of those gone from the promotion came out in batches so below is a full list of those who have been released:

Monday Night Raw
Eva Marie
Gran Metallik
Karrion Kross
Keith Lee
Lince Dorado
Mia Yim
Nia Jax

Friday Night Smackdown
B-Fab

NXT
Ember Moon
Franky Monet
Katrina Cortez
Oney Lorcan
Jessi Kamea
Jeet Rama
Zayda Ramier
Scarlett
Trey Baxter

Other
Harry Smith

Interestingly, The New York Post, cites a source close to the situation, reported that one of the reasons Jax was released for is because she is unvaccinated. Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast then further reported that up to four wrestlers on the list of 18 were released due to not being vaccinated.

THe NYPost has claimed for years to have an in with the WWE's backstage information. Take it with a grain of salt, but i'm bailing on defending Nia Jax myself.

Once a man would spend a week patiently waiting if he missed a stage coach, but now he rages if he misses the first section of a revolving door.

It's one I'd believe. She's not a safe wrestler from what I've seen and I still find it amazing that WWE wrote her being an unsafe worker into her character at one point. Wild.

Onward swings the McHammer. The 'E never seemed to "get" Keith Lee; Ember Moon has been under-utilized, given no direction and tossed about rosters for much of her run; Yim was flung into one of the most embarrassing stables to come along in ages; and while Oney Lorcan rules, he'd surely find sturdier ground in, say, AEW. Any of these would be solid acquisitions, IMO.

WWE have released so much talent over the past 2 years that it's ridiculous. They've needed to cut down on wrestlers for a while anyway but if they keep on like this then they'll be back to having one main title again soon and no separation of shows.

Not sad to see Nia Jax leave though, she's a dangerous worker. Keith Lee though I thought WWE were high on and that fans liked him. Not that that's mattered previously with some releases, but it still surprised me. Although really most of this round of releases are deadwood anyway.

WWE has released eight more members of its roster apparently

— John Morrison
— Top Dolla of Hit Row
— Ashante Adonis of Hit Row
— Isaiah Swerve Scott of Hit Row
— Tegan Nox
— Drake Maverick
— Shane Thorne
— Jaxson Ryker

Already there's talk that WWE have been sneakily with Hit Row as the NXT no compete clause is 30 days whereas the main roster is 90... So of course people are speculating that WWE called them up knowing they would be released just to get that 90 clause active.

Exactly the type of underhanded, classless tactic I expect from this garbage company.

Same, wouldn't be surprised if that was accurate. Definitely seems like something they'd do. The whole "we don't want you but that doesn't mean we'll let someone else have you" is a very WWE move. If I had to guess at why they've done this, I'd say it's down to the talent that's gone to AEW at the end of their contracts so now they're releasing beforehand to get that clause in.

Its hard to watch and respect the mcmahons and company wwe.. they product they sell weekly is just not good... i doubt many of the people on this foum still watch it weekly.... i would suggest if you haven;t already try AEW out.. its been the best show i have seen in the us in a good 15 years now....i get excited for the show weekly i haven't felt that way since the monday night wars.

Just don't listen to all the hateful people on social media... they just never wanted to give a chance.. just fans i think that don't want another wrestling company for various reasons.

I read earlier today something that implied they dropped 80 competitors as well as a large number of backstage and business staff as part of this budget cut. With that kind of cut it's hard to think if they even have a product even worth selling at this point! I haven't watched WWE in a long time, the last time I was genuinely excited was when AJ debuted on the royal rumble! It's sad to think about, but it really wouldn't surprise me if WWE were on their way to being sold off as some in the industry seem to think so.
