AEW > WWE

Insightful argument.

For sure. i don't think this even debatable.

WWE has been really bad, one of the worst promotions one has ever seen for like 5 years now. AEW hasnt had a bad show yet this year.

See i think its been pretty bad legit since the benoit murders... keeps getting worse and its not because of chairshots to the head or anything... its just bad show with people (Vince) that can no longer properly build a show anymore.

AEW is great, most of the time. WWE is great, some of the time. WWE is also very bad, some of the time. But I think you exaggerate how bad WWE is for the past five years, a lot of good in there over the years, just marred with a lot of crap in between. Give AEW enough years and they'll have some crap under their belt too.

NXT on the other hand, is killing it. And is often forgotten in this argument for some reason.

NXT until they get out of that little toy sandbox they broadcast their show in, has a ceiling, where as AEW doesn't have a ceiling.

WWE's problems started when they decided that they weren't wrestlers and it's all about entertainment. Wrestling was entertaining! That's why TNA prospered for a bit, they had some top-quality wrestling matches. It's why people like NXT as it's more about the wrestling and it's why people like AEW as well. Storylines are great, but I mainly watch wrestling to be entertained by the actual wrestling, not watching 3 hours of RAW and getting less than an hours worth of wrestling. That's probably why I have basically only been watching PPVs recently (unless they've gotten better? In which case I might get back to watching the shows as well).

I hope AEW doesn't run out of steam though. Just got to keep doing what they're doing.
