Expected announcements:
- Roman Reigns vs Drew McIntyre.
- Daniel Bryan vs. Kofi Kingston
- multiple team match for the Women's tag titles
- The Revival defending their tag team championship
Mania this year is being hosted by Alexa Bliss.
And the most disappointing news is that Strowman, instead of getting a match, has fallen so far that he'll be involved in a comedy section with Colin Jost... whoever that is. But at least they get to use it to sell some new toys of Strowman breaking a car...
All in all, based on confirmed matches and where I think they'll go with the rest of the card, this could be a great Mania. A lot of it will depend on the booking on the night, but apart from one or two convoluted feuds *coughbeckycharlotterondacough* they've built pretty well to Mania so far.

Also why does Triple H look so weird in this pic?

I think it's just Trips getting old. He's certainly getting more gaunt. Also, he's standing at an angle so things aren't lining up effectively. Basically, I'd imagine the photographer just said 'yeah that's great' and took the photo instead of trying to get a good photo and risk Trip's ire. Still, he's looking pretty good.
As for the rest of the card, It does look interesting, and has a lot of potential, but then, we could say the same for several Mania's in the past. Might re-sub to the network to watch it though...

I'm looking forward to Orton vs. Styles. Give them 15-20 minutes and it should be pretty great.
So Daniel Bryan vs. Kofi Kingston is expected... would be very shocked if they didn't considering the booking going on... what a waste of time otherwise. But, I was having a discussion with a mate the other day about it... remember when WWE tried to have Bryan lose in record time to Sheamus and it went a bit wrong, even if it was something like a 10 second match... my mate reckons that's what they'll do to Kofi. Build him up, then have him jobbed out for getting over on his own... then they can build the feud further from there with Bryan saying he isn't good enough. That would be shit on from a great height. Really, like Orton vs. Styles, given 15-20 minutes they should put on a pretty great match, which is what we all want to see... especially at Mania.

While I don't expect them to job Kofi out like that, it does make you think: surely Rollins, Becky and Kofi can't ALL win? And if it's 2 out of the 3, Kofi is probably the guy who's gonna lose. I fully expect him to become WWE Champ in 2019 though, whether at Mania or later.

I just figure that Bryan's belt can't have been cheap, so can't see them taking the belt of him just yet. As hot as Kofi is right now, Bryan has been so good with this new heel character that keeping the belt on him is good... I would be shocked if Kofi left Mania as a champion.
Other Mania news is that Angle is having his retirement match. A good time for it I think. Who will be face though? Current talk seems to be... Corbin. Story wise, makes sense. But it's a shame that we won't see Angle going out putting on a classic as we all know Corbin isn't good enough for that kind of match. Not sure who I'd have him face though.
Reigns vs. McIntyre disappoints me as well... Although it'd be saved if McIntyre wins. McIntyre is great. I imagine this is the kind of match Vince loves as they're both big guys. Can't see them having Reigns lose though given that he's only just returned.
All in all though, it's shaping up to be a good looking PPV. Better than I can remember than the last few Manias... Although that could just be my memory.
I think Angle will face Cena. It’s a good “full circle” type deal since Cena debuted against Angle.

That I would be happy with.
Shelton Benjamin is teasing that he'd wrestle Angle at Mania. Would also be happy with that.
And it's Corbin he's facing... great. They could have done so much better for his final match.
Strowman doesn't even look like he'll be on the main card... he's the first name in the Andre Battle Royal, which is usually pre-show.
WWE is planning for WrestleMania 35 to be up to eight hours in total length including the Kick Off Show. While there are only seven matches currently official, that is expected to be doubled at least and will include a women's battle royal as well as other matches that have not yet been set up on TV.
Fuck the pre-show. 8 hours is way too long for an event. They need to stop cramming everyone in and make people work to be on the Mania card. You want to be on it, show you're good enough.
I don’t really follow anymore. A part of me wants to but the other part misses the old days too much.
But what exactly happened to Stroman? I know he was quickly rising and now this???

lol seemed like he was rising for over a year. Took them that long to figure that out?

He was so hot at one point it was ridiculous... But in typical WWE fashion they didn't capitalise on it and he seems to get less and less time and worse storylines.
According to reports, Rousey, Charlotte and Lynch will be the main event.

Yeah. WWE officially confirmed this too. Awesome. Five years ago I never thought I’d see it frankly. And it feels natural which is a bonus.

It's the right match for it. It's probably had the best build up to Mania than any other match, and when you consider the other possibility, which is having a part-time guy main-eventing, it makes even more sense that this match should be the main event. Fans are so invested in Lynch right now, and Rousey has the name value. Everyone knows how good Charlotte can be. It has all the makings of being a top class main event. What makes it better is like Rhys said, it seems natural, not this usual do it for the sake of saying we're progressive. This match actually feels like it should be the main event.

Wow. Look how far we’ve come. Myself included. I feel like 5 or so years ago this would have bothered me for some stupid reason. I’m totally all for it now.

I think it would have bothered all of us 5 years ago because the standard wasn't good enough. They've made great strides in improving the division in the last few years. In the last 2 years there's been a few absolutely top quality matches by the women that 5 years ago we never thought we'd see (5 years ago might be a bit low... My memory is awful and can't remember when the class NXT ones with Sasha and Bailey took place)... They've made great strides though to make the division meaningful and it's working. The reactions to this title match alone shows how much they've improved not only the division but how fans view them. If WWE don't treat them like a joke and constantly hire women for their looks instead of their talent, then fans won't view them as a joke. It really is a credit to WWE how they've turned the division around. There's still work to do, but they're doing things right... And as mentioned, this title match shows it with the reactions they've been getting.
Yeah so now the women are over, I'm bringing in a new movement:
