Kid me got shit for being a huge Detroit Red Wings fan. (Canadian girl here.) Had a Fedorov jersey, #91. Watched semi-regularly up to roughly the age of 12 I guess. Knew some stats back then and played some ice hockey on rare occasion. Played the hell out of EA NHL '99 and as a teen played a lot of ESPN 2k5 despite severely waning interest in the sport. Or much of anything at the time.
That was a lifetime ago as well as a very different life. As for me, I'm not into hockey at all. I like pro wrestling and have a slight bit of interest in proper football. I think ice skating (dancing) as a competitive sport is pretty cool. I haven't touched my basketball in about a year and a half. That's about it for me and sports, heh.

Wow. You just dropped Fedorov on me! Legit! Helped the Wings sweep the Flyers in the cup in 97, ruining my childhood. Any chance you get back into? Maybe be a flyers fan with me. In dead last right, no where to go but up!

Heh. Frankly, the likelihood is extremely slim, Heat. I wanna relearn how to skate sometime, though. I was never a strong skater, mind. If that describes you as well, I'd be happy to become a fellow fan of falling on one's ass in an icy tailspin!

Now I know this is an absolute long shot but why not try anyway? Are there any Hockey fans on the forum? I remember Inferno use to be one. But he was a Penguins fan and therefore a Jackass. HA! But seriously I’m alone in the world on this.
