This is kind of sad. For someone that was talking about how they were full-time and all that shit just after Mania, to only just be making their Raw in-ring debut is just sad. Could understand if she'd been injured, but she hasn't been. But hopefully this will be the first of many.

WWE RAW will get a dose of "Rowdy" next week.

It was announced on Monday night's episode of RAW that Ronda Rousey will be competing in her first official match on RAW next Monday night.

RAW General Manager Kurt Angle announced Rousey vs. Alicia Fox for next week's RAW. The match was set up when Alexa Bliss, who has now aligned herself with Fox, interfered in a match between Rousey's training partner Natalya and Fox.

The Rousey vs. Fox match next Monday night will mark Rousey's first time wrestling in a match on RAW.

It's not really that bad though, is it? Like she may not have wrestled but she's been there every week in segments. I would say she qualifies as full time.

Wouldn't be bad if she wasn't meant to be an active wrestler. Two PPV matches and she's yet to wrestle on a TV show isn't great. It's either poor booking or they don't think she's ready, in which case why bother with showing her all the time. Just stick her in NXT until she is ready. She's looked pretty good, so I image it's just the getting use to having to remember how the match will run, which NXT would have helped with since it's still development for the main roster. Maybe it was the film deal, like with the Rock not being able to wrestle for insurance purposes, in which case it's okay. But she needs to be wrestling more often to live up to what she said when she signed.

It's nothing to do with her not being ready. She's a special attraction; she's there as part of the storylines every week. The only time she had off was to film a movie and it was kayfabe described as a suspension. It's not poor booking either. If they put her in there every week, she will have wrestled the entire division in 2 months and then all future marquee matches are gone.

"Suspension" aside, she's been there every week. If Brock never wrestled, but at least SHOWED UP every week, people wouldn't have a problem with him. If Ronda showed up once a month and never wrestled, I could understand the issues, but we've seen plenty of Ronda since she debuted. More than we've seen of Brock since like November of last year.

AJ Styles goes weeks without wrestling, no-one complains about that. Ditto for The Miz.

Also important to note Ronda IS wrestling in house shows too.

She only started house shows within the last month though, didn't she?

And she wouldn't have worked through the division. Book her in a feud. Good enough writing/booking and she'd be in a good feud that gets people really caring and invested in her. Don't need another special attraction, special attractions aren't full-time imo. Really, what's the harm in having her go through a feud in the previous few months? So I stand by they either don't think she's ready or it's poor booking. I like that last month they started a feud with Bliss, but that was a month ago. Should have started that before then, and then it would be okay to not wrestle every week, like with Styles, etc. Might not wrestle ever week, but he's still part of a feud. Wrestle occasionally and still be there every week with an ongoing feud, and I'd be happy. That would be meaningful like it is now and hopefully will be going forward.

And no one complains about the Miz because he's not someone that there's talk of building a division around and making their star attraction. Although I don't know why because the Miz is awesome.

Nah, she started house shows in May.

She has been feuding. She feuded with Steph/Trips, then moved on to Nia Jax, now she's feuding with Bliss. I'm not saying they've booked her perfectly, but anyone complaining she's not full time just isn't watching the product properly. And everything you said about Styles being in a feud even though he's not wrestling - that's exactly what Ronda is doing. Seriously, apart from that month where she was suspended (to film a movie) she's been around the whole time.
