Sting to WWE rumours yet again...

As seen on last night’s RAW, WWE included current TNA star Sting in their video packages looking back at former World Heavyweight Champions.

F4Wonline.com reports that Sting was included in those video packages for a reason.

Word is that Sting is once again interested in joining WWE. While he hasn’t opened direct negotiations with the company, he has sent feelers to WWE about joining them. There is said to be a lot of confidence on WWE’s side that Sting will be on their roster eventually

These rumours seem to begin every year when Stings contract is up, bringing about the rumours of possible match against Undertaker at Wrestlemania every year etc...

I did mention in my Raw Review about how I always find it weird when WWE show something to do with Sting considering that he has never worked for them, and Sting always said he wasn't ever bothered about the money etc and going there... But would he want one Wrestlemania moment before he retires??

I hope to god that he doesn't show up in WWE. Maybe 5 years ago he would have been a good option for Taker at Mania but now he is an embarrassment in the ring. He looks so old and he wrestles with a damn shirt on to hide his saggy man boobs. I have a feeling that being the pro he is, he would work out like crazy so his last match could be a memorable one but I just don't have the interest in seeing it now.

Better than Essa

He did an interview with VOC Nation recently.

On rumors of him working against the Undertaker at Wrestlemania 27:
“Over the last few years those rumors have gotten stronger. I do an annual contract every year and the rumors start right around January. The year that they did the (black and white) vignette, I had nothing to do with it and I had no conversations with the WWE at that time. Shortly afterward there were conversations (with WWE) just by happenstance but nothing official.”

On being open to work in the WWE:
“It’s no secret. I’ve always wanted to wrestle Undertaker; I’ve said that for years. And who would not want to work Wrestlemania.

Would have been one of the most highly anticipated matches like ten fifteen years ago and even still today I would buy Wrestlmania just to see this match.

The combined age of these two is 102 and they'll put on a better match then any match Cena is in

I'd buy it. Who wouldn't want to see Undertaker v Sting?

I'm sure it won't be as bad as Hogan vs. Piper at Halloween Havoc but unless Stinger gets in shape, it could be pretty bad to watch.

A Sting vs Ultimate Warrior match would have been cool all those years ago. Flash vs Rock.

I wouldn't. God it'd be shit. Sting is so out of shape it's not even funny. And Taker, well... he's so battered up he's good for one night only. And that means that he needs to put on a show, as he never knows when his last match might be and you can't have a legacy like his tarnished by ending his career with a really shit match. Keep it with the good guys who can help him out in his old fragile ways and put on good matches in the few Mannia's that he has left.

I don't know what the wwe can do, all of their part-timers are their biggest draws (except super cena). They need to put over younger guys, or not-old guys.

I think the wcw feud with all the old guys vs all the young guys was gold in concept... until all the old guys refused to job to the young guys.

Something like that, but executed well. WWE does a great job executing story lines... the ones that they don't just forget about (cough, anonymous general manager, cough).

[sarcasm] What do you mean, Hornswoggle was an excellent choice as the anonymous GM [/sarcasm]

I can see why both sides would want it to happen though... For Sting, it would be his chance to end his career on the biggest stage of them all and somewhere where he has never performed before and if that is truly one of his career goals, and realistically it can be only one of the few goals he would have remaining surely, then it would be a big deal for him.

For the WWE, Sting is still one of those names, that no matter how old he may be, he can still draw, there will be plenty of WWE fans that maybe have never seen Sting, they have just heard of him, or heard of their parents talking about him etc because they would never have tuned into TNA... So bringing in Sting will be something good for them.. You can easily see them bringing him in to go into the Hall of Fame as well perhaps the year after his Wresltemania performance, so perhaps Sting vs Taker at WMXXX and then inducted into HoF in 2014 ?

Look, I get everyone is excited to but realistically do you think WWE would even entertain the thought have paying a guy like Sting the kind of money a guy like Sting commands when they know the type of match a guy like Sting puts on these days? Sure it all sounds golden on paper but it's a train wreck waiting to happen. On top of that, do you think Taker wants possibly his final Mania match, or even his final match period to be a shit fest for nostalgia sake? I kinda think Taker loves the fact that he has been set up for success for the last 5 years with his mania opponents and I doubt he's gonna a sign off on the worst in ring version of Sting we have seen since the master blasters

aw snap. Dissin poor Mr. Borden.

Maybe wwe could get sting to lose weight, tone up with some muscle, and get back the Sting 1.0 buzz cut, bleach blonde hair & face paint. Those were the days.

Heck, with the Demolition stuff ripping off the LOD, I'm surprised that they haven't done a wwe-ish version of sting long ago.

It may not be a technical masterpiece, but can you imagine the crowd? It would be molten

Calling it now. Whether it happens next year or in five years, it will be far from shit.

Five years from now Sting will be 60 and if you think he is going to put on anything other than shit, you are thinking with your heart and now your head. The crowd will be hot until the action starts....
