I'll only watch it if it's an all-woman senior's competition. 65+ please.
How old is Linda McMahon?

Thanks Taker_2004 for the banner!
Unknown. She predates recorded history, and as such has no official "birth date" by human standards. The best scientific estimations hover around the seven billion mark.
So to answer your follow-up question, yes, she would more than qualify to take part in this competition.
Mae Young comes out and rips off her own face. It's Linda McMahon.
"I was Mae all along."

Still a better storyline than the Higher Power.
So they've finally given it a name. Now let's get some competitors names out there. I want to know who will be in this. Hopefully it will be full of Charlotte Flairs and not Alicia Fox's because I want to look forward to this and be entertained, not bored shitless because they can't find anyone good. Plenty of good women wrestlers out there. Get them signed up and on board.

According to PWInsider.com, the following names will be appearing in the #WWE Mae Young Classic, taping at Full Sail University on July 13th and 14th:
-Zhao Xia, who has a martial arts background and has competed in martial arts and fitness competitions. Xia is the first Chinese woman to sign a developmental deal with WWE and was brought over as part of a group of Chinese trainees who have been working out in the WWE Performance Center.
-Mary Kate, formerly known as Rosie Lottalove in TNA.
-Bianca Blair, who was signed by WWE back in April 2016.
-Danielle Kamela, who was trained at Rikishi’s school, and is a former dancer for professional sports teams.
-Julia Ho, trained by Brian Kenrick, and is a Canadian model and MMA fighter.
-Kimberly Frankele, aka Kimber Lee and is a former Chikara Champion.
-Lacey Evans, who recently debuted on WWE NXT, and is a former Marine.
-Victoria Gonzales – The daughter of Rudy Boy Gonzales, and was signed to a WWE developmental deal last year.
-Sarah Logan, aka Crazy Mary Dobson and Sarah Bridges in NXT.
-Taynara Melo, a Brazilian black-belt judoka.
More names to be released soon

Oh, sweet! Crazy Mary Dobson (Sarah Logan) and Kimber Lee (Kimberly Frankele) are in this. Some of other girls seem cool, too.
Mary Kate kinda looks like how I Imagine Sheeva from Mortal Kombat would look if she were a real, regular person.

New names actually confirmed by WWE.com
Princesa Sugehit
Toni Storm
So currently now there are only four names confirmed by WWE.
1. Toni Storm
2. Lacey Evans
3. Sarah Logan
4. Princesa Sugehit
According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, former WWE star Serena Deeb is in talks with WWE to participate in the upcoming Mae Young Classic tournament, despite technically being retired from the ring.
Sources note Serena Deeb has been discussing coming out of retirement with WWE to compete in this summer’s Mae Young Classic tournament, however, it’s not a done deal quite yet.
Serena Deeb was the chick in the Straight Edge Society for those of you who don't remember.

Princesa Sugehit
I see the picture, then I see the name and I read it as Princess Hugeshit.
WWE sent out the following today:
Just a heads up we announced five additional competitors for the Mae Young Classic below including Tessa Blanchard, daughter of WWE Hall of Famer and Four Horseman Tully Blanchard.
The anticipation for WWE’s inaugural Mae Young Classic continues to grow with the announcement of five more entrants into the tournament, as first reported by ESPN.com.
Third-generation wrestler Tessa Blanchard, hard-hitting veteran Abbey Laith, black-belt judoka Taynara Conti, international bruiser Jazzy Gabert and Great Khali protégé Kavita Devi are the latest additions to the Classic, which streams this summer, exclusively on WWE Network.
They will join Toni Storm, Princesa Sugehit, Lacey Evans and Sarah Logan, who were announced last week for the 32-woman tournament.
Tessa Blanchard
Twenty-one-year-old Tessa Blanchard, of Charlotte, N.C., may be new to the WWE Universe, but her last name isn’t. The daughter of WWE Hall of Famer and Four Horseman Tully Blanchard, granddaughter of wrestler-turned-promoter Joe Blanchard, and stepdaughter of NWA legend Magnum TA, Tessa decided to follow in the family trade after watching her father’s Hall of Fame induction in 2012.
Since her 2014 debut, Blanchard has competed across the globe, including in the U.K., China, Japan and the Maritimes (where she once wrestled 23 nights in a row). She has even garnered praise from The Rock, whom she worked with on the set of the movie “Fighting with My Family.”
Abbey Laith
Abbey Laith grew up admiring revolutionaries like Lita, Chyna and Ivory, but the WWE Performance Center standout — renowned for her strikes and suplexes — will have a chance to break new ground of her own in this summer’s Classic. Coming to wrestling with an extensive background in dance, particularly ballet, Laith began training for the ring while working toward a bachelor’s degree in dance education from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
Laith, who counts WWE Cruiserweight Drew Gulak as one of her original coaches, developed into wrestling royalty on the independent scene. She captured titles in SHIMMER Women Athletes and Shine Wrestling and became the only woman to hold the Chikara Grand Championship before joining the Performance Center earlier this year.
Taynara Conti
A newcomer to sports-entertainment, 22-year-old judo master Taynara Conti might be one of the Classic’s least-seasoned wrestlers inside the ring. However, the Performance Center recruit isn’t lacking world-class combat-sport experience.
Conti spent years honing her martial arts skills in her native Brazil, eventually being promoted to black belt in judo and blue belt in jiu-jitsu. She competed in the 2016 Olympic trials in judo, and though Conti narrowly missed the cut, her thunderous throws helped put her on the radar of WWE talent scouts. Having trained under WWE coaches since last October, Conti will get her first chance at The Mae Young Classic to show the world what happens when a decorated judoka enters the ring.
Jazzy Gabert
Representing Germany in the Classic is Jazzy Gabert, a muscle-packed, 6-foot-1 brawler who has wrestled internationally for more than 15 years. A strongwoman and professional MMA fighter outside the ring, the bruising Berliner has achieved her greatest success in Europe and Japan.
Gabert is a multi-time champion in Japan’s Stardom organization, and she is currently a women’s champion for groups in Germany and Switzerland. In MMA, she has fought under the banners of the Rizin Fighting Federation and IFO Europe.
Kavita Devi
Kavita Devi is a powerhouse student of former World Champion The Great Khali. Hailing from Jind, Haryana, India, the 5-foot-9 Devi is a top competitor in Khali’s Punjab-based organization, Continental Wrestling Entertainment. She gained the attention of WWE talent scouts at a tryout this past April in Dubai.
Devi was an accomplished kabaddi player in high school and is also a competitive powerlifter. In 2016, she won gold in the 75 kg weightlifting division at the South Asian Games. Inside the ring, Devi has racked up victories using a head-caving roundhouse kick.
There were people within WWE who were not happy at the participante of the women's tournament because they were not "hot" and weren't good looking enough for WWE standards. Reportedly, WWE did give some of the women makeovers.
Sounds like some people in WWE need to sort their lives out. Who cares about ability, it's all about being "hot". Funny, because there are a few women at in good positions on their rosters at the moment that I wouldn't class as "hot".
What? They've had plenty of women that weren't and aren't good looking enough for their shallow standards. Unless someone backstage found Awesome Kong to be sexy. Carmella isn't good looking either. So would love to know what their standards are because they seem pretty broad given some of the previous and current female wrestlers.

That is some bullshit. Just makes you remember that the womens revolution is just a gimmick sometimes. I hope that its just dirt shit BS, because that is fucked up!

Sounds to me just like dirt sheet bullshit.

Anyone been watching this? Apparently it's had really good ratings. Need to get round to watching some of it myself really.
I watched it all. Could have been better at times but really good other times. There's a lot of talent they can pick up from this.

Toni Storm
Totally wowed by this - Toni started out wrestling in IPW Australia, the same little promotion I wrestled with in Australia. She started training right around the time I stopped wrestling and started managing/commentating instead.
She was always pretty ridiculously talented and tough as nails. Also her being 10/10 good looking and naturally blonde means her likelihood of success in the world of women's wrestling shot up 10,000%.
Here are some photos of us together from 2009.

Toni Storm is great, i had began to hear about her actually earlier this year.. and seen a few matches was rather impressed and i thought she came across as a ready to go star in the MYC. also she is only 21 i believe? wwe would be foolish to not keep her around... also thick chicks like that rock.
so Re, tell me you got to hit that booty 😋
That's crazy Re. Cool though, she's a good talent.

I'm looking forward to it. If it's anything like CWC and the UK Show we're in for some good wrestling.
