I fully anticipate that the ratings for these episodes will be as low if not lower than their lowest slump during the Monday Night Wars!

Wrestling companies use to make their biggest paydays in the past on xmas and thanksgiving night shows... that's the past though.
most people i know aren't doing much on xmas night.. usually people do things on the eve or during the day of xmas...
i really don't see the big deal.. ontop of it many of these tickets are going to end up being peoples xmas gifts.
also if the ratings are going to be low.. they would be the same even if it were taped... but being live actually might give it a better chance... ratings really don't matter now like they did 20 years ago.
I mean we're getting a live RAW on Xmas Day. Won't get a complaint off me. Enough wrestlers are obviously OK with it (and probably the bonus that comes along) for them to be able to do it.

Didn't realise that they fell on a Monday this year... but even so, I wouldn't expect to see Raw on them. I mean who is going to watch Raw on Christmas day? Can't see it getting good ratings myself. I guess it's contractual, but still... pre-tape it.
Completely cannot blame some wrestlers being unhappy about it. Time with family, not travelling the country and wrestling. Can't see why they wouldn't tape it on the Friday or something. It'd be pissed if it was me.
