Universal Champion Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman
At SummerSlam, The Beast survived Strowman, Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns in a chaotic Fatal 4-Way Match. The following night, as The Conqueror and his outspoken advocate Paul Heyman were basking in the glow of victory on Monday Night Raw, The Monster Among Men suddenly emerged to make two things clear: Lesnar hadn’t conquered him at all, and Strowman wasn’t finished with him yet

John Cena vs. Roman Reigns
As the hottest free-agent in WWE, Cena made a surprise leap from SmackDown LIVE over to the Aug. 21 edition of Monday Night Raw for one reason: to stand toe-to-toe with Reigns. This was a challenge The Big Dog welcomed, as Reigns was eager to show the 16-time World Champion just how much the yard had changed since The Leader of the Cenation last competed on Team Red.

Raw Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose vs Cesaro & Sheamus
Considering the volatile demise of The Shield, the reuniting of Rollins & Ambrose as tag team partners seemed unlikely to everyone – including the Superstars themselves. Nevertheless, the brothers-in-arms indeed reassembled in explosive fashion and overcame Cesaro & Sheamus at The Biggest Event of the Summer to claim the Raw Tag Team Titles.

Finn Bálor vs. Bray Wyatt
Though Bray Wyatt failed to defeat Finn Bálor at SummerSlam, The New Face of Fear has found a way to put The Demon to rest, as his Irish adversary will step into the darkness without the help of his alter-ego in a highly anticipated SummerSlam rematch on Sunday, Sept. 24, at WWE No Mercy.

If they don't give us a shit undercard, this could shape up to be an "A-PPV" level card.

Was a fairly good PPV really. Nothing spectacular and only one match that was average - which unfortunately was the one I was looking forward to the most, in the Universal Title match. If I had to pick one to be the best, would probably be Cena vs Reigns... But only just.

Cesaro came out of the tag title match with a nasty injury. Looked like he'd broken his teeth and there was quite a bit of blood. Turns out it's more painful than that. Couldn't imagine this one.

"Cesaro’s teeth were pushed up into his upper jaw by about 3 to 4 mm," WWE medical personnel Dr. Daquino explained. "The next step is for him to see a maxillofacial surgeon today, most likely removing the teeth and then having some implants made. So hopeful we will have him up and running after Tuesday or so.”

One thing I didn't like about the two main matches were that they had one guy hit his finisher quite a bit, but then seemed to be pinned by the other guys finisher quite easily. Especially in the case of the Cena match. Hits a few Fu's, a Super FU, two FU's in a row and Reigns still kicks out. And apart from one spear outside, Reigns then pins Cena with a spear. Really made Cena's finisher look like shit compared to Reigns. And Lesnar had two or three of Strowmans finisher but got pinned after just one F5. Thought it was weird match booking.

My thoughts on No Mercy:

-It was boring up until the tag title match. That was match of the night. Brutal teeth damage to Cesaro.

-The womens match was better than expected but still meh.

-Reigns vs Cena was a great match but Roman beating Cena after one spear in-ring felt a little weak.

-Enzo's win was so hilarious. And brilliant. I don't see the problem with him doing Eddie's gimmick. It was funny.

-Same deal with Brock v Braun. It  bothers me Braun couldn't survive more than one F5. The match itself was good up until the finish. It could have probably gone five more minutes.

Overall, I'd give it a C.

Main Event

I liked this PPV. Thought it was good enough. Had far worse this year. Although Strowman idnd't look as strong as he should have done. Started out well, but pinned after one F5, when Lesnar kicked out of a few finishers? Absolute bullshit.  Strowman should have kicked out and then had Lesnar F5 him again, effectively giving him two F5's in a row. That would have been better. I'm still waiting on a super F5 though from the top rope. Needs to happen, although probably not to someone the size of Strowman.

Cena looked fairly weak in his match. Was disappointed in that really and I wanted Cena to win. I figured this feud would last a bit longer than a month and have Reigns trying to prove he can surpass Cena. Instead they just go straight with it and had Reigns kick out of multiple finishers like he's unbeatable. Was crazy booking. Again, with how it was booked, it would have made sense to have Reigns hit multiple finishers too. Or at least make it look more devastating than one spear.

Tag match was match of the night. Still don't like Rollins and Ambrose being back together. Only way it works for me is if they have Rollins double-cross him again. That would make it worthwhile. Also hate the name of Cesaro and Sheamus' team. If they're staying together, it makes sense to have a name. But they could have come up with something much better
