We'll probably get Enzo v Cass, Wyatt v Rollins, Balor v Samson, Miz v Ambrose to fill out the card. Not a bad card on paper.

Close. Three out of four isn't bad though.

I could still see Balor v Samson if they need to fill time, although I doubt it with such a big card.

Overall, a great PPV. The only match I didn't care about was Miz v Ambrose.

The Ironman Tag, Ambulance Match, Neville v Tozawa and the main event I thought we're great (although the main event could have went 3 minutes longer). The rest of the card was decent - good. Even the IC  Title match, I didn't care, but it wasn't exactly a bad match. Pretty strong showing.

Gets an A for me.

The Blue Print

Just finished the PPV. Pretty good ppv. Felt like a big deal throughout. The main event wasn't great. God forbid we make Lesnar wrestle over ten minutes. Disappointment. I was expecting atleast a twenty minute match of them just whipping the shit out of each other. This is a new pattern for Lesnar. Let us down. Survivor series he got beat in like 90 seconds. Got eliminated quickly in the Rumble. That's all fine, it was a storyline. We should get a good payoff at Mania right? Nope. Get another short match.

Fast forward a few million months an finally we see Lesnar again. He gets involved in a feud with Joe. Joe looks to have his number. Joe looks like a beast. The two are having a legit interesting storyline. Then we get to the match. Then yet again we get another short match. What the hell is going on? No wonder people get frustrated with Brock. They rarely have him wrestle. Then when they do, they barely have a match. If you are going to keep him gone for millions of months in between appearances you have to make the wait worth it with some substance when he enters the ring. Not ten minute or so matches.

Main Event

Rollins vs Wyatt was a bit of a letdown. Both guys are better than that. Bray winning was a surprise though.

Enzo and Cass went about as I expected. They really made it look like Enzo had no chance at all, which doesn't bode well for him in the future. Looked like a right jobber.

Tag title match was fun. Didn't expect that many pin falls in it. Matt ended up with a nasty looking cut. Was fun though, glad they did this match with this particular stipulation.

Bliss vs Banks was good, apart from the finish.

Miz vs Ambrose was bang average, which is a shame as they can put on much better. Hopefully they move on from this feud now, although going by Raw last night they might not be. They need to though.

Not a fan of Ambulance Matches, but this was quite good. Helps that they seem to work well together. Ending was funny, I literally laughed at it. Keeps Reigns strong since Strowman won by fluke and Reigns didn't really get beaten up. After attack was pretty fun as well. The camera man needs to be fired though, that zoom in on the wing mirror was shit.

Hawkins vs Slatter was a waste of time. So random as well. Absolutely no point to it.

Not sure what they are going with with Strowman and Reigns, but Strowman was coming off as the sympathetic face during the segment after the random and pointless Hawkins vs Slatter match, whilst it made Reigns look like a heel. Whilst I want Reigns to be a heel, Strowman is a monster heel and that should remain.

Lesnar vs Joe was good as well, but should have been longer. They've booked Joe as a serious threat, but he didn't come off as that much of a threat to me in the actual match, especially with being pinned in less than 10 minutes.  15 minutes would have done it for me. Wouldn't have thought that was too much to ask. Lesnar is surely fit enough to do that. Could have been better, even though what we got was good.

Overall, a good PPV. Not the best and no real standout match that you think could be a MOTY contender, but was a real solid PPV overall. Remove the Hawkins/Slatter match and you'd be able to say that every match was between 5-7 out of 10 (the 5 being Miz vs Ambrose, but everything else being either a 6 or 7). Maybe I'm being harsh, but as I'd give it an overall rating of 7 out of 10, I don't think I'm being too harsh.

It won't get recognition, cos tag matches never do, but I think the Ironman  was a match of the year contender.
