Almost God like? Maybe...

June 11th 2013

Mr Andolini enters his 4CW office, his mobile phone clamped to his ear, as has become usual for the last two months.  He slams the door behind him and moves across the room which is now clear and empty, except for a small table with some wrestling magazines scattered on it, a cream leather sofa and a large oak desk with a black leather chair tucked underneath it.  He moves towards his desk and sits behind it, speaking agitatedly the whole time.

"No Jim, you told me this would be easy. You assured me, you gave your word that your people would be all over this. I need this done yesterday. Eden is shoving this divorce up my ass and I'm out of time. I don't need to explain to you that if this doesn't go right now, she gets over two million dollars of my money. How many times do I have to say it, Jim? I'd rather burn two million than give it to her. Either you find me a buyer today, or I call Pinash tomorrow."

Andolini waits and listens, the vein in his forehead pulsing and writhing, as if trying to escape from his head.

"That's something, good. That's progress. That's, what's the phrase? A bird in the hand? Ok, what's the offer?"

Again he waits, his brow furrowing as he hear the answer.

"That's not even enough to cover the tax. I'd still have to pay two hundred grand, Jim, how does that work for me?"

More waiting and frustration from Andolini.

"I know what I said, I would rather burn it, but I won't be walked over like that! No, no. Ok, ok, fine. Tell him I'll-"

Mr Andolini is interrupted, and again has to linger whilst he listens.  After several more seconds he is able to speak again.

"WHAT?"

Rage firing through every fibre of his body now.

"I'm already losing out here, I will not pay out for those contracts! Understand? They are part of the business! I don't care what they say, if he buys the company then he takes on every last one! I won't have this Jim. No retainers, nothing. Why the hell did you get me into this mess?!"

Andolini kicks a small coffee table over, sending several magazines flying through the air.

"He takes on Scharff, Inferno, Belly and the rest of them. He takes on every contract and-"

The voice interrupts again, speaking for several minutes this time.  A look of resignation falls across Andolini's face, he starts to nod as the reality of the situation hits him.

"I have no choice, eh? Fine, I'll take the bullet. Just get him to take on as many of the roster as possible and I'll cover the rest. Just do it and do it quick. I want the...my God...three hundred thousand by the end of the day."

Mr Andolini hangs up the phone and looks around the 4CW office that he has barely been able to settle into and a feels nothing but pain.  4CW has cost Andolini over four million dollars, a wife and a daughter, and now he is leaving it a broken man.  He stands from behind his desk, thoughts of Amy running through his mind, followed by thoughts of Eden.  He grinds his teeth as his thinks about what she has done to him.

"Arrivederci."

You know the deal.  Read and leave some thoughts, please.  Credit to chux4w for editing the dialogue.  No credit to Belly again, because he's still lazy...

This is the final pre-Revival seg.  Revival will go up on Sunday morning, UK time.  If any of you have any last minute segs, get them to me asap.

Mid Card

This and a packed bowl, now I'm ready to read the 26 pages of storm front I printed out.

Once a man would spend a week patiently waiting if he missed a stage coach, but now he rages if he misses the first section of a revolving door.
