Well, joy to some. Tears for others.

Political views aside, it's sad news. The UK will probably never see such a dominant female in politics ever again and judging by the reactions of some friends in other countries, the world has lost one of the greats of the political world. Sad loss in that sense.

In terms of politics, it depends on which colour you are. She did more harm than good as far as I'm concerned but I'd ignore that today because of her influence on the 'lesser' sex. She did wonders in that regard.

It is a sad day overall and it has reminded me that we havnt done a Death Pool for 2013 yet....

Political views aside, it is a sad day and she was well respected around the world and was the first ever and perhaps onl Female Prime Minister...

Although I think I would like to quote Frankie Boyle here when he was talking about how much Baroness Thatcher's state funeral would cost...

"For 3 million you could give everyone in Scotland a shovel, and we could dig a hole so deep we could hand her over to Satan in person (on Margaret Thatcher)"

Better than Essa

So sad to see a life cut so short. 87 is no age to die.

What's really sad are people celebrating her death. Makes me hope that people celebrate when their family members die so that they realise how twatish it is. Anyone would think that she was a mass murdering child rapist.

Even sadder are the people celebrating that weren't even born when she was prime minister. I have no opinions either way about her, but I'd love to give them all a slap for it. They're just celebrating a death for the sake of it. Idiots the lot of them.

I find it really childish when people are celebrating the fact she's dead. Thatcher is before my time and sure she had a lot of enemies but to be happy someone's dead? I mean, come on. It's not like she's a terrorist or anything.

I don't have an opinion on Hitler because I wasn't born in the 30s.

Beefy

Yea, a Brit on another forum said he partied and got drunk when she died. I won't lie, I don't care that she died. Probably why I don't care that he did that. But if I did care one way or another, I probably wouldn't party. If I hated her I would just be happy to myself. I wouldn't tell anyone how dark I am, that's how serial killers get caught.....

Just cos she wasn't a murderer doesn't change the fact that she was a ruthless leader who fucked over a whole bunch of people.

Tbh I don't have an opinion on her, but I hear she did bad things and good things. But I think people should be able to celebrate te death of a tyrant even though its dumb. 1) She lived a long legendary life 2) We all die anyway, it's not like death stop her from being a evil prime minister, her cabinet did that some 23 years ago.

And it's Jek, Mordy.

People are well within their rights to be happy about her death and to even go around celebrating it, but that doesn't mean it's any less childish. I mean, they are holding a grudge on a woman who was in power over twenty years ago. George Bush is an idiot but I wouldn't celebrate his death. I hate David Cameron but same goes. I'm with Jek, I really have no opinion of her myself and don't particularly care that she's dead but even if I hated her I don't think I'd go around celebrating the fact she's dead.

But people will do whatever they want to do.

Almost God like? Maybe...

She was a fantastic leader, and that's why some people didn't like her, because leaders have to make hard decisions.

I thought she was fantastic, and she helped me buy my first property, and I'll always be grateful for that.

RIP.
