The fuck is this? This is my thing. The nerve... this is going to take some time to get over and forgive...
Jokes, it's fine 😄
The WWE championship match annoys me. Blurs the line of the brand split which was one of the huge downfalls of the previous one. Just makes no sense at all that Orton has to defend his Smackdown belt on a Raw PPV. No sense at all. Even if the match was announced before the brand split, if one is moved then the match is off since he's no longer on that show.
Lining up to be a great looking PPV though... can't remember a Raw only PPV looking this good on paper.

You were lacking my friend! 7 matches and still no thread? Tut, tut. 😋

I guess it's the same reason Jericho gets his match - it's the mandatory rematch for losing the title. I don't mind it as long as it's a one-off and not a regular thing.

FYI, the Wyatt vs Orton match doesn't sppear to be a WWE Championship match. Makes sense in a way as if Bray won there's be no Smackdown champion since he's now on Raw and Lesnar wasn't swapped. It's just a match with no title on the line. Makes it also quite pointless as the "superstart shakeup" should really have just ended this feud.
Also, it's quite funny that they don't yet seem to know what kind of match it will be, as they were asking fans the other day what they would like the match to be. How can they give a match a name but not know what it will be?

Orton vs. Wyatt doesn't make much sense not being for the title. Bray said he still gets his rematch, then announced the House of Horrors match. I mean kayfabe wise, its just a mess.

The whole thing is. But WWE aren't listing it anywhere as a title match. They'd have been better off not having the match at all. It's like they just want to have a champion on the show since Lesnar isn't there. And that moves you onto the next problem which is Lesnar being champion when he's barely around.

They did originally list it as a title match. Sigh. The match is pointless without the title. I'll get it changed.

I just notices Matts face in the OP pictures. Amazing.

Sheamus' is pretty funny too.

Looks like he's trying to take a shit.
So I'm excited for all but the main event really. The only other match that might disappoint is the womens title match, but hopefully not as they're both talented. I want them to do well.
The main even is just incredibly boring to me. They haven't even said what a house of horrors match is yet have they? How is that meant to build excitement? It just stinks of them not fully knowing what it will be. Just nothing about how it;s been built makes me want to see this match. Thank god for the undercard which looks pretty darn good.
Cruiserweights will hopefully steal the show, but I get the feeling that it will be the tag match that does. I love Owens and Jericho hope that they can put on a better match than last time, which was good but should have been better given their quality.

Couldn't sound more shit if they tried. Put it in spoilers in case anyone doesn't want to know, but don't go expecting anything good.
It's like they listened to everything people said they wanted in the match, then put everything into it people didn't list.
If you put aside the House of Horrors debacle, which was just... yeah.... and if you put aside the somewhat boring Reigns v Strowman, this was a damn good show from start to finish. Every other match was good to great, there were some refreshing wins. I'm happy to see Jericho win the title and move to SD, he'll lost it back to Owens on tuesday but the whole reason this happened was so he moves to SD and that was done. Honestly, WWE did a damn good job of this show. I'm gonna give it a B+.

What a load of shit that House of Horrors match was.
Disappointed with Jericho winning the title. Love the guy, but he's not going to be pushing for the main event like Owens so it feels like a big fuck you to Smackdown. Owens would have been great there. I'd suggest doing a rematch, but then that's continuing to blur the lines between the brand split which just shouldn't be happening like this.
Funny thing though, was the wwe.com video they put on afterwards where Mike and Tom asked him the same question.

They are both on Smackdown now, so why wouldn't there be a rematch?
Are they? I was under the impression that if Jericho wins then he goes to Smackdown instead of Owens? That's what I was under the impression of anyway... If that's not the case, then I'm happy. Sure Ninjak will be too as that keeps Owens on Smackdown.
Jericho is really leaving now for the Fozzy tour, i fully expect him to lose the title back to Owens on Smackdown.

If they are, then I retract my previous comment about it being shit. From what I'd read previous to the event, it was that only the title holder goes to Smackdown, so that meant Owens wouldn't. If I think about it tho, does make sense to keep them both on Smackdown.

Owens is already Smackdown. So all that happened is that now Jericho is Smackdown as well.
Well I'm happy then. They don't make things too clear at times (although I'm still thinking about comments made when the draft happened, so could be remembering them wrong).
Also, congrats to Bliss. First person to hold the Smackdown and Raw Womens Titles. Didn't think she would be the first person to do it, assumed it would be Charlotte.

Honestly, that was why I thought they had that title match on SD was just so that Charlotte could get that privilege first.
Showing my mate the house of horrors match. I never noticed the obviously fake cob webs around the place.
Also, the house looks like a crack house.
And I was too busy laughing at how bad it was first time to really notice the music going on for it all... Just made an awful segment even worse.
The house used in the "House of Horrors" match at Payback is actually located in Richmond, MO and is on sale for $36,000. It is unclear whether WWE purchased the house outright for the match - which was actually taped about 2-3 weeks ago - or if they rented it for that time period. Either way, the house is (back) up for sale and you can find the listing here.
So it probably was a crack house...
