Not actually confirmed they are returning to WWE, but WWE are reportedly interested.

Yeah I was meant to add a question mark to the title. We all know it's going to happen though.
There's been talk for so long about them returning that it's inevitable. Apparently they will be returning in April - now how cool would it be to have them return at Mania as a surprise? Personally I'd have left the recent Tag Team Turmoil Match until Mania. Imagine the fans when the last entrants are The Hardys making a surprise return and winning the belts. That would be a Mania moment to remember.

I just hope I will get to see them at Money in the Bank. 🙂

I miss when they would just to Money in the Bank at Mania. That was good times. Then in typical WWE fashion they take a cool concept and what could potential be a great Mania tradition and make it a PPV. I'd complain more, but realistically the MITB PPV's have been some of the best overall PPVs in recent years so it seems kind of wrong to complain. I liked it as a special Mania match though. I'm so torn on this lol.
The real question should be will they return as a team or separate? Would be cool if they do do a MITB at Mania and they both enter into it and have them go forward as single wrestlers who occasionally tag together.

The Hardys were willing to appear on TNA television tapings to do a "farewell angle" and drop their tag team titles, but TNA reportedly nixed that idea.
The story goes that TNA was willing to bring them back to do a farewell storyline but they wanted Matt & Jeff to sign short-term contracts to play it out over a couple of weeks. If that were to happen, TNA didn't want a scenario where the Hardys would appear on their television and also possibly with WWE TV which is why they insisted on contracts.
Jesus, what a mess. They'll just end up vacating the titles through commentators just saying that the title are now vacated with no sign of the Hardys if this is how they want to do things. Apparently they don't have no compete clauses in their contracts for when they expire, so really this comes down to TNAs bad practice of recording weeks in advance.
Well they won the Ring of Honor Tag Titles and reports are saying that they've signed a deal there for a few weeks.
Well they need to do something until April. 😋

Apparently both Matt and Jeff are returning to WWE in April after failing to negotiate new contracts with TNA.
Question marks remain though over who owns the "Broken" gimmick, as although it was Matts idea, it was done with TNA whilst under contract with them.
Jeff Jarrett, whilst not outright saying that they are leaving TNA, has pretty much confirmed it with the following:
Galloway has already confirmed that he will be leaving TNA, so Jarrett's comments seem to make it pretty clear that the Hardys are on the way out as well - just TNA nor the Hardys have confirmed it.
Funnily enough, things are meant to have broken down when it came down to two major things: creative control and their independent bookings, both of which became an issue with TNA's recent sale to Anthem and with Jeff Jarrett back in power. And both of which we all know WWE will not allow. So if they're not happy with it in TNA, I guess the money factor or WWE came into play.
