WWE Elimination Chamber 2017

With less than 2 weeks until Elimination Chamber, Smackdown announced 4 matches on the first show after Royal Rumble. Makes things seem a bit rushed, but with how they've planned PPV's it's what they have to do.

Looks like half the roster is already booked for the PPV in just 4 matches.

There will be no IC Title match because apparently Ambrose has to be in the Elimination Chamber. You'd think that if WWE had any kind of forward planning, that Ambrose wouldn't have won the IC Title, freeing him up for this match and still allowing there to be an IC Title match on the card. Considering that they have to rush a card together, having an IC Title match would have been an easy enough one to arrange.

Are there any matches people are expecting to be added next week?

I expect this PPV will be nothing but average filler but hopefully the Chamber at least will be worth watching.

This and Fastlane will be below average PPVs. They're just going to use filler whilst they try and build towards Mania. I've always thought that there should be no PPVs between the Rumble and Mania. Use the time to properly build towards the biggest event of the year.

I'm hoping the tag team turmoil will get me massive points in the draft.

Apollo Crews & Kalisto vs. Dolph Ziggler has the potential to be good. Looking forward to that one. No other match on the card catches my interest at all.

Apparently the Elimination Chamber has been changed as it was a pain to move the old one around (once a year) and get it set up at different venues (once a year). Not seen what they've supposedly changed though.

Looks like each pod can be accessed from the outside now as well.

The whole thing doesn't look as imposing as it used to for some reason. Might do on TV though, guess we'll see.

So Cena's title reign was completely pointless. Seriously, what was the point? Could have just had AJ lose here instead of giving Cena a 2 week title reign. Pleased for Bray though after so many failed pushes. He's been consistently good and deserves it. Just hope that his isn't a 2 week reign as well (although it would be more like 3 or 4 weeks, but still, I know what I mean and it makes sense god dam it!).

Was surprised to see that no one was eliminated until everyone was out of their pods. Also didn't see Corbin going out first as I know that they love to push him in certain situations. Figured he would be the last four just so that they could keep him looking strong. And with a roll up no less. One of those times where "I didn't see that coming" wasn't a good thing.

Naomi wins. Didn't see it coming and don't care either. I'd say she's over-rated, but I don't know anyone that actually rates her. Surprised that she will be the champion going into Mania.

Really disappointed with the 2-on-1 match. Could have been good with the guys involved. Just didn't seem to click for any of them. Funny that they're trying to turn Ziggler heel and the fans love him for it haha. Ziggler as a heel is great though.

I'm always torn with tag team turmoil matches. I like them, but I also don't because they end up just being a load of quick matches that do nothing for the guys competing. How does losing a title match in a few minutes help anyone? I get why they have to do it, but still. Ah, I can't complain too much though as I do like it when they do these matches since it's not often.

I'm torn on what was the best match. The Chamber was good. Harper vs Orton was surprisingly good. I'd put them both as 4 star matches, but can't help but feel like Harper vs Orton get's the nod purely because I didn't expect it to be that good.

I think I was the only one that predicted Corbin would go out first.  He's the only one beside Bray that isn't a former world champ.  Plus I actually really liked how he went out.  It really pushed him further as a heel, and I think a program with him and Dean could be really good.

The beat down after was good, but losing via roll up wasn't. They could easily have done something where he just turned around into a finisher and that got the pin as he wasn't expecting it. A roll up though is lame.

This was a two match show. Harper vs. Orton was really good. The Chamber was good, usually its a fun match to watch. Happy that Bray won the title. I kind of agree with the Cena thing Ninja, the whole reign was pointless. Was nice to see Bray eliminated John Cena though. Naomi winning was a shock. I thought they were gonna push her hard as a red herring only to have Alexa come out the winner. All the other matches were forgettable.

The show was failing hard until Orton v Harper. Then it got good. Harper had the match of his career so far, Naomi's win seemed like it meant a lot to her, and the Chamber was very entertaining. Best one for a while.
