Rumble Talk

I'm going way out on a limb for these predictions just because if I land one of these, we will all be very happy for the future of WWE.

Most eliminations:
-Braun Strowman will approach Roman's record and get eliminated by Roman I think.  Regardless of whether who is US Champion going into the Rumble.

Who lasts longest:
-The Miz or James Ellisworth.  Every year there is a heel that comes in #1-5 and lasts over a half hour.  Miz and Jericho have both done it as have Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes, Rick Martel, and many others.  I think Daniel Bryan will eliminate The Miz and set up their WM match.  Otherwise, having Ellisworth last the longest is so ironic it's unparalleled! 

Winner:
Sami Zayn - There is a theory surrounding his recent run-ins with Foley and Steph.  Total "out of left field" type of winner here who can face Kevin Owens at WM for the Universal Title with this win!  To have a Generico vs Steen match at WrestleMania with a top title on the line would be the pinnacle of both their career's and it would feel like the pinnacle of my fandom as I've been following both those guys for years and have seen both of them wrestle in front of about 100 people.

First entrant (second counts as they both start):
-Brock Lesnar and Goldberg - easy to say they will start and probably be in the final 4 if not used to eliminate each other or be eliminated simultaneously by Roman Reigns.

Wrestler with the least amount of time before being eliminated:
-Again, it may be James Ellisworth.  Otherwise, I would think maybe Braun Strowman for the wow factor.  Have him get in and everyone back up only to rush him as he gets in?

Surprise Entrants:
-I'd like to see some relevant and possible winners other than guys like Michael Cole and JBL.  Although, The Godfather is always a fun entrant haha!  Finn Balor making his return would be huge, maybe having Samoa Joe debut and eliminate Balor for another shock factor as everyone has been talking about Balor being a shoe-in for the Rumble Winner.  I'd be okay with a Batista entrance for the troll factor.  He totally wouldn't win, but people would remember 2014 and it would get a loud reaction for sure.  Long shot here too...what if they get Cody Rhodes to make a one-night return for the Rumble?  Fuck relationships and what not, that would be a hell of a moment.  Another long shot would be Rhonda Rousey.  She would be what?  The third or fourth woman ever in the Rumble?  I only remember Chyna and Beth Phoenix but maybe Nicole Bass, Jazz, or someone else got in there under my radar.

Not sure on having the women included myself. Charlotte is the only one that could be physical enough to do anything. The others are smaller than cruiserweights. The whole thing would probably cause a backlash as well. Best to just keep them out of it all together.

Wrestler with the least amount of time before being eliminated: Ellsworth

I want Jericho to win it. Would be hell of a match against Owens so let's get it going with a deserved Rumble win.

I'm pretty sure Goldberg is already confirmed as entrant #1.

I don't think Balor will return at the Rumble (even made a bet with Reamer over it) and I think we'll probably see Joe debut in the Rumble too.

I didn't think they'd confirmed anyone's position yet. Just that Goldberg and Lesnar were in it. Could be wrong though.

Most eliminations: Reigns, because you know he'll be in it even though he has a title match (unless they're idiots and have him win the belt).
Who lasts longest: Jericho.
Winner: Zayn for a dream Mania match against Owens.
First entrant (second counts as they both start): Jericho
Wrestler with the least amount of time before being eliminated: Goldberg, a quick elimination by Lesnar. Or Taker in a quick elimination by Cena.

This is probably the most unpredictable Rumble in years to be honest. I can't put my finger on any definite winner! It would be cool for Jericho to win it, but I doubt they'll give it to him. It's to early for Braun to be in the title spot. I'd say it is between Cena and Reigns. I don't want either. Undertaker is a dark horse, I'd rather not have Taker win it either though! Argh. I just don't know. If Sami Zayn wins it, it'll be a miracle.

So, considering this women's tournament and the fact they have a decent roster in NXT along with about 10 ladies between the two main rosters.....how long until there is an all female Rumble??  Will it accompany the male version?  Will it be better?  Just thinking of the names if they did it next year WOWZA

I don't see it happening anytime soon. I mean, even if they could scrape together 30 women for the Rumble, I just don't think there's enough big woman stars yet to make it worth while. Maybe if they did a 15-woman Rumble.
