4CW Presents: StormFront End of the Road 31 December 2016

Holy crap, three matches on one show!  Sweet! I can't wait to see who The Freight Train is going to be facing on this show.  Should be a lot of fun.

One of these days I'm going to need to challenge for the Universal Championship. It's the only belt I'm missing.  That, and I've never won 13 Ghost.

I notice I'm the only one to put up an RP this time, late though it may have been! :-P

So.... What's happening with this show? No one seems to have done any RPing at all.....

It's coming together slowly, will be up at some point.

It's going slowly as only 1 match was written and no segments sent in before the 31st. I have a full schedule so with the lack of effort that was put in I decided to take my time. We are now up to 2 segments for the show along with the 1 finished match and Rhys stepping in to write one of the other 2 matches. It may be up by Saturday.
I'm going to chalk up the non participation to be due to the holiday. However if it happens next show... I'm out and 4CW can finally just die.

Well dude, if we're being brutally honest here...I was a little discouraged on the last show (or maybe 2 shows ago?) where it wasn't posted for well over two weeks when I sent in stuff that ended up being about 1/3 of the show alone weeks beforehand.

Then, like everyone else, I got distracted/busy during the end of the year festivities and here we are again.

We just don't have a roster to really optimize the booking and/or interest in it.  Just about every one of us has been "Head Booker" in 4CW at one point or another so we're all in on it.  Ironically, it was better when most of us were all essentially marks in that regard if that makes any sense.  Too many cooks in the kitchen is what it boils down to in my opinion.

The fact is, only one person bothered to RP. That has nothing to do with "too many cooks in the kitchen" it's just down to people (including you) not doing their part, it's as simple as that.

I work 45-60 hours each week and have to put together the shows which is nearly impossible because I have to decide whether to put up a subpar show because only the matches were turned in and maybe 1 seg, or try to write filler in my down time which honestly I have very little of. This show the only match I had come time was the one Sery wrote. No segs. No rps.
Cooks in the kitchen is bullshit because right now there is 1 cook... Me... No one other than Sery and Reamer have even bothered to say what direction they want to go with their shit.
Now I'm sitting here trying to decide if everyone loses their match or do I just write it off. Who do I have face who since no one seems to want to give ideas for their own Damn character. Maybe I just have the same matches each week?

I'm perfectly fine with the show being late and I understand why. And I've also noticed how we have no feuds going apart from Sery v Reamer so if anyone wants to feud with me I'd be more than happy to accommodate. All the excuses, shitty or not, aside, 4CW will only stay alive so long as there's effort from the roster, it's really that simple. So anyone complaining about the show being late or whatever, get involved, ask if there's anything you can do or find someone to feud with or send a random seg in to fill up the show. It's a joint effort and Senny can't be expected to make miracles out of nothing.

Let's do this. Let's make 4CW great..... you know the rest.

And also ask around to see if anyone wants to sign up and join in. Should try and use 4CW to get new members in, even if they only post 4CW stuff to start with.

Are the previously unused characters on this show's card part of/meant to be joining the official roster?

Disappointed this one didn't work out, I was waiting on it to go up and hopefully see my name turn up on the next show's card. I'm a little unsure about how 4CW's future has been looking of late, as a vague, general feeling. The roster hasn't grown as far as I know and there's no way to have divisions... I could turn the new characters or one of them + Paige into a tag, but then it'd be 3 tags and one is kinda left out, unless it's constant 2 vs. 2 vs. 2 matches. Seems like Bally Hoo is on a decent solo roll, too. I like Paige as a singles gal, but if I do Hazel & Tsukiko as a tag, there'll be times I may need to double my RP output, I would think... unless my Coven faction RPs could count for both. I dunno. Uncertain on things in general. Life's getting way more hectic/busier than usual.

Definitely grateful 4CW came back, whatever happens with it next. 4W / 4CW has been invaluable to me at various points in time.
