Welcome to the Greatest Nintendo Game of All Time contest, first round.

I will put the matches up every other day, and each round will be open for three days (so there'll probably be 2 or 3 matches taking place at any one time). I want to get through the first round as quickly as possible.

ROUND ONE, MATCH TWENTY TWO

TMNT: Turtles In Time (SNES)

Much like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game for the NES (a conversion of the first arcade game), the SNES version of Turtles in Time is not a direct port of the arcade original. It had some notable differences in presentation. The SNES version also features a time-trial mode and a two-player versus fight mode. The SNES version was praised for its additional stages and gameplay modes. Like the arcade version, the SNES game has been lauded for its visuals, which replicate the cartoon's art style. The game's music and sound effects have also been praised. However, the game has been criticized for its repetitive gameplay and short length.

F-Zero X (N64)

F-Zero X is a futuristic racing video game for the Nintendo 64 (N64) console. It was a sequel to the original 1990 F-Zero game, and is the first F-Zero installment to have featured 3D graphics. The game has a steep learning curve and its gameplay experience is similar to that of the original F-Zero game.
