GWA Blaze
Week 4
Live from Washington DC

The opening video plays, showing highlights of guys like Kane, Daniel Bryan, Rhyno, Paul Burchill, The Rock, Brock Lesnar and Japanese Honor. After the video plays, we cut to the arena, and the new theme for GWA, "Re-Education (Through Labour)" by Rise Against blasts through the PA system as the crowd is panned by the camera.

Mick Foley: We are just one week away from The Asylum! Welcome ladies and gentlemen, to GWA Blaze, live from right here in our nation's capital, Washington DC! Tonight, we have a great main event as Sheamus teams with Paul Burchill to take on Daniel Bryan and Ryback! Also we will find out the final two competitors in the much-anticipated Asylum match!

As Mason Ryan, the TV Champion, makes his way down to the ring, Foley explains that this match is Rob Terry's last opportunity at the TV Title against his friend Ryan. It's also a qualifier for The Asylum.

Match One - GWA TV Championship/Asylum Qualifier
Mason Ryan (c) v Rob Terry

This match never really gets underway. Ryan and Terry go back and forth with a few tests of strength and grapples, but the match is thrown out when Kevin Steen runs down to the ring with a steel chair in hand. He takes out Terry and then Ryan and the ref calls for the bell.
Winner: No Contest

Kevin Steen hits the mat with the chair and waits for one of them to get back up so he can hit them again when Booker T comes out on stage.

Booker: Now dawg, I suggest you put that chair down if you know what's good for you. Since you've got such a big problem with both Mason Ryan and Rob Terry, you're gonna get an opportunity to fight them both. Since this match is a no contest, both Ryan and Terry will be joining you in The Asylum!

It's not what Steen wanted; he wanted the TV Title. However, Booker leaves the stage and Terry and Ryan are back on their feet when Steen turns his attention to them. He swings the chair, but Ryan ducks the blow and takes out Steen with a big Clothesline. He then whips Steen into Terry, who takes him out with a Spinebuster! Terry and Ryan shake hands, having worked together to deal with the common enemy, and the fact they are both completing the Asylum line-up just pleases them even more.

~Commercial Break~

Mick Foley: Welcome back to Blaze! Before the break, the last two competitors in this year's Asylum match were finalised! This means the final line up will be Brock Lesnar, Rhyno, Kane, Japanese Honor, The Miz, MVP, Kevin Steen, Mason Ryan and Rob Terry! Also confirmed for later on tonight, is a six-man tag team match! A preview of the Asylum if you will as the team of monsters consisting of Kane, Brock Lesnar and Rhyno will take on Japanese Honor and The Miz!

We cut backstage, where we are in Booker's office. He is joined by Sara Del Rey.

Sara Del Rey: Hey Booker.
Booker  T: Sara, what can I do for you?
Sara Del Rey: What you can do for me is give me Raquel Diaz, one on one, tonight. Last week, her and Chavo cheated to not only beat me, but also take Sin Cara's Cruiserweight Championship. And I gotta problem with that.
Booker T: Aight, I'll tell you what - you will get Raquel Diaz tonight and if you win, I'll give you a title shot at the Asylum PPV. Ya dig?
Sara Del Rey:  Thanks, Book.

Sara is happy with Booker's decision and leaves the office. Then we cut backstage to a locker room to see Paul Burchill ... and THE ROCK!

Paul Burchill: It's good to see you, Rocky. Shame you couldn't be here last week, you missed a great show.
The Rock: Oh, don't you worry, The Rock was watching - and I saw what you did to Bryan. Bout time someone slapped the smile off his face.
Paul Burchill: Come next week, I'm gonna do a lot more than that. No Disqualification. You as the Special Referee. Bryan has nowhere to run and nowhere to hide. That title is coming home with me. Nothing would hurt Bryan more than me taking that title.
The Rock: In all seriousness though, I have to call the match... right ... down ... the middle.

The Rock and Paul Burchill stare at each other for a few seconds, deadpan, and then burst out laughing as we cut back to the ring for the next match. Raquel Diaz comes out first, and Chavo Guerrero joins her. They are followed by Sara Del Rey and Emma, who seems to have become quite good friends with Del Rey over the past few weeks.

Match Two - Singles w/Manager
Sara Del Rey w/Emma v Raquel Diaz w/Chavo Guerrero

Del Rey is out for revenge and goes all out on Diaz, building up quite an offense with suplexes and slams, but she can't put the champion away. Chavo tries to cause a distraction for Del Rey, but the referee is sharp on his toes and Chavo can't seem to find an opportunity. Del Rey hits a big German, and looks to be gaining some major momentum, when Chavo jumps on the apron, complaining to the referee that Del Rey is doing something wrong. During this distraction, Diaz rakes the eyes and then takes out Del Rey with the Gory Bomb! The ref turns his attention back to the match and counts the victory.
Winner: Raquel Diaz

Diaz celebrates her victory but Emma rolls right into the ring and tackles Diaz to the mat, sending fists flying. Chavo grabs Emma and pulls her off Diaz and gets a huge slap across the face in return. Chavo looks irate but is interrupted by Booker T's music. The GM comes out on stage with a mic.

Booker: Aight, this is how it's gonna go down.. all this cheatin' and dirty tactics has gone far enough. Imma make sure this GWA crowd see a match that Raquel Diaz can't cheat her way out of - Raquel, at the Asylum PPV next week, you will defend that Womens title - but it won't be against Sara Del Rey - it'll be against Emma! And if you are disqualified by the referee, if he sees anything untoward, you will lose that title to Emma! Now can you dig that, sucka?!?!

Booker leaves the stage and Chavo Guerrero leaves the ring, taking Raquel Diaz with him. Emma leans over the ropes to give Diaz a few choice words before going back to check on Del Rey.

Match Three - Singles w/Manager
Darren Young w/Titus O'Neil v Jimmy Uso w/Jey Uso

In a special preview for their upcoming tag team title match, Darren Young with Titus O'Neil takes on Jimmy Uso with Jey Uso in his corner. Unlike the last match, the partners stay out of the match, allowing both Darren Young and Jimmy Uso to go all out on eachother. The finish comes when Jimmy takes out Young with the diving crossbody for the 3.
Winner: Jimmy Uso w/Jey Uso

The champions retreat, frustrated with another loss after they both lost last week in Asylum qualifiers. The Usos are the complete opposit - even going so far as to invite the champs back in the ring to see who's the better team but the champions are above such petty games and leave the stage with the titles over their shoulders. Next, we cut backstage to Ryback! Since GWA still has no interviewer, he is left with a mic to do it himself. Still better than a John Cena promo, right?

Ryback: On the very first night GWA came back, I ... lost by countout to Sheamus. Sheamus got lucky. He didn't pin me. He didn't make me tap out. He just managed to get into the ring in time while I didn't. The thing is, Ryback doesn't lay down for anyone. They call me the Wrecking Ball for a reason. I wreck things. At The Asylum PPV, I'm going to crash through Sheamus and wreck him. Then I'm going to pin him, take the UK Title, and wreck his title reign. Sheamus, I suggest you get in touch with your health insurance providers, make sure everything's up to date, cos I gotta feeling after you get back in the ring with me, you're going to need it. When I'm hungry, I feed on anyone in my path. And I'm starved,  Sheamus... I'm - -

Before Ryback can make anymore hungry metaphors, Sheamus bursts into the area and dives into Ryback. They crash into the wall behind them, exchanging blows left and right. Eventually, a bunch of security and officials run in to break up the brawl. The two men are seperated but both look ready to rip eachother apart. We cut back to the ring for some Cruiserweight action. A number one contender's match to find Chavo's opponent for the PPV.

Match Four - #1 Contender's Match
Sin Cara v Santino Marella

This match is a quick one. Marella may be a 2-time Cruiserweight Champion but right now it's Sin Cara who wants it more. He puts away the italian in less than five minutes, taking him out with the Falta de Gravedad, his new springboard shooting star press Lariat.
Winner and #1 Contender: Sin Cara

Mick Foley: And with that victory, Sin Cara will challenge Chavo Guerrero at The Asylum PPV next week! Sin Cara could argue that he was cheated out of his championship last week and he will no doubt be taking full advantage of this title opportunity! Still to come, we have our main event as Ryback teams up with Daniel Bryan to take on Paul Burchill & Sheamus! But after the break, we get a unique preview of the Asylum match! Six of it's combatants will compete in a six-man tag match! Don't go anywhere!

~Commercial Break~

When we return, Japanese Honor come down to the ring to a big reaction and they are shortly followed by The Miz. Then come the opponents, Rhyno first, followed by Kane and finally "The Current Big Thing" Brock Lesnar.

Mick Foley: It'll be interesting to see if these three monsters can work together to take out Japanese Honor and The Miz!

Match Five - Six Man Tag Match
Japanese Honor & The Miz v Kane & Rhyno & Brock Lesnar

The Miz starts the match with Kane. Quite expectedly, the big red monster dominates the opening stages. After Miz kicks out of a Sidewalk Slam, Rhyno tags himself in and continues the offense. The Miz and Rhyno go back and forth, until The Miz takes out Rhyno with a DDT and tags in Naomichi Marufuji. Marufuji runs across the ring, knocks Lesnar off the apron, takes out Rhyno with a big dropkick and then tags in Sugiura. Sugiura gets into the ring, but Lesnar also rolls in and takes out Sugiura with a huge clothesline. Marufuji runs back into the ring and Lesnar takes him out too. The ref realises the match is going out the window and rings the bell.
Winners: No Contest

As the bell rings, Lesnar turns into a GORE! GORE! GORE! from Rhyno, who had since recovered. Kane then grabs Rhyno by the throat and hits the Chokeslam, only for The Miz to grab Kane from behind and take him out with the Skullcrushing Finale. Kevin Steen runs down to the ring to join the brawl, and is soon joined by Rob Terry and Mason Ryan. MVP also makes his way down into the ring and all hell breaks loose with a brawl surrounding the ring and outside area as we cut to commercial break.

~Commercial Break~

The graphic for the Asylum match shows up on the screen.

Mick Foley: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back! Before the break a huge brawl broke out between all ten of the combatants of The Asylum! The ring has been cleared now but these ten men will all do battle next week at The  Asylum! The winner of that match will go on to challenge the GWA Heavyweight Champion at WrestleWars II!

The graphic changes to Paul Burchill v Daniel Bryan.

Mick Foley: GWA Champion Daniel Bryan will defend the title in a no-disqualification match against Paul Burchill - and the special referee for that match will be none other than The People's Champion, The Rock!

The graphics continue to change as Foley goes through the list.

Mick Foley: The PrimeTime Players will defend their Tag Team Championships against The Usos! And if that isn't enough, Ryback will take on UK Champion Sheamus with the belt on the line! Raquel Diaz and Chavo Guerrero are both enjoying new-found success as champions of the Women and Cruiserweight divisions, but at the Asylum PPV, they will both have challengers to defend against. Diaz will defend against rookie Emma while Chavo Guerrero will take on the former champion Sin Cara! It should be a great night and to finish tonight is our main event - a fantastic tag team match! Here comes the number one contender for the GWA Title, Paul Burchill!

Paul Burchill makes his way to the ring and is followed by his partner Sheamus. The opponents Ryback and Daniel Bryan run down to the ring and the brawl starts right away! Eventually, Bryan and Sheamus make their way to the corners for this match to get officially underway.

Main Event - Tag Team Match
Paul Burchill & Sheamus v Daniel Bryan & Ryback

Burchill and Ryback start the match. Burchill clearly wants to face Bryan but the Wrecking Ball that is Ryback doesn't like to be considered a distraction and takes it to Burchill. The monster controls the match, occasionally tagging Bryan when Burchill is down before quickly being tagged back in to continue the punishment. Ryback sets up Burchill for the Shellshocked some time later but Burchill escapes and takes out Ryback with a neckbreaker. Burchill and Ryback both make their ways to their corners and tag in their partners at the same time. Sheamus takes out Bryan with a clothesline but the champion is right back up. Bryan goes after Sheamus, avoiding a second clothesline and sending Sheamus into the corner. He runs at him and hits a big dropkick in the corner, before taking out Sheamus with a Hurricanrana. Bryan sets up for the Diving Headbutt but Sheamus moves out of the way and tags in Burchill. Burchill stalks Bryan and takes him out with the C4! Ryback tries to get into the ring but Sheamus knocks him off the apron with a Brogue Kick! Burchill gets the victory by hooking the leg!
Winners: Paul Burchill & Sheamus

After the match, Burchill and Sheamus celebrate, before shaking hands and chatting among themselves. Bryan rolls out of the ring groggily and Burchill points to an imaginary watch on his wrist while Ryback slowly recovers, dazed on the outside after taking a Brogue Kick.

Mick Foley: Sheamus and Paul Burchill pick up the victory tonight, but will they both be successful at The Asylum PPV? And speaking of which, who will win The Asylum match itself! Make sure you tune in, you'd be crazy to miss it! Have a nice day!
