New NXT Women's Champion

I didn't even realise that they had enough women wrestlers to have an NXT women's champion.

Knowing how things go in the E, she will come out on the main roster with blonde hair and bubble gum pop music and be just like every other cardboard cut out diva.......

The divas division in WWE needs fixing fast. When the NXT divas division has a bigger selection of personalities than the actual WWE divas division, surely something needs to be changed?

There may be more divas in the WWE division, but honestly there is little to seperate them. Natalya has become this absolutely stupid character and Tamina was given a push at first which quickly petered out. The only unique diva in the WWE division is AJ. They need to fix that.

Below is the WWE Divas roster as it stands today and what I think about them.

AJ Lee - The most complete diva on the roster. Her character is great. Her ring work is above average, she's not Trish or Lita but still very good. She can work the mic and get crowd reaction. Her spot at the top of the division is where she should be.

Aksana - With a lot of these divas, they don't get much TV time. Askana is one you don't get to see often unless you watch Superstars or Saturday Morning Slam. Even then she isn't on much. She is a divas jobber. She's kind of attractive in that eastern European way but she's not good in the ring and I don't like her voice.

Alicia Fox - Former Diva's champ showed potential with her natural athleticism but a lack of character and no mic skills will put any push to bed.

Bella Twins - I see no difference in them at all. They are average to good in the ring. They have a bitchiness about them that seems overdone. They are always good to use to put over a face champion but again, they just don't change at all. It's all the same shit every time they are around.

Funkadactyls - They are at least trying to do things in the ring to set themselves apart from the pack. I've been impressed with them in ring. I haven't heard them say anything other than the Ton's of Funk intro. Maybe they need to break away from TOF and each other. Give them a shot to make it on their own and give them some mic time to see if they have any skills.

Kaitlyn - Ugh. I hate when girls try to hard to be "punky". Constantly shooting the devil horn hand signs. We get it already. Her music is like nails to a chalkboard. That said, she is passible in the ring but her spear looks like a running clothesline to the stomach. Worst move choice ever. She's got power, so she should have a high impact finisher.

Layla El - Sexy as hell but without Michelle McCool, her character has stumbled. She's decent in the ring with the right opponent. She's not good on the mic but I think she is better when she was in Flawless. Better heel than face.

Natalya - Biggest waste of talent on the Diva's roster. Probably the most talented diva in the company from a wrestling stand point. They had a chance to do something with her in the Pin-up Strong stable with Beth Phoenix but when Beth left they didn't know what to do with her. Then they did the fart deal. Really? That's the best you can come up with for someone with the Hart Legacy? Embarrassing.

Rosa Mendes - Bad in ring, bad on the mic. She's only good in her spot as the manager for the Colon's

Summer Rae - Decent in the ring from her NXT days and her mic work isn't the worst. Just interested to see what they do with her after Fandango goes under.

Tamina Snuka - Plays the powerhouse role well. Mic skills ok. Just no real character development and it seems like she isn't even trying.

All in all the diva's division is about 3 deep and the rest are shit. They need to make an effort with the divas' division or get rid of it. Shit or get off the pot fellas.

I think that BOTH divas and men could benefit from a Rankings system.

Why are these 2 fighting?
To fill time, because the boss said to? Oh, it's because X is ranked 7 & Y is ranked 6, and 7 wants 6s spot to get a title shot.

Also, if these Divas aren't gonna be on TV, they should either go to acting school or get int he ring with Natalya and LEARN to wrestle. I mean, imagine if Rosa Mendez could wrestle and talk, sheesh.

Everytime a Divas storyline came up, I always hoped it was a way to bring Paige up to the main roster (not just because she is English either) But she is a good in ring worker and her character has developed well on NXT and am glad it has been rewarded with being crowned the first NXT Women's Champion

On a side note, I MUCH prefer the "Women's Champion" moniker than "Diva's Champion"   

But back to what I was saying, When Kaitlyn was taken out backstage ages ago when Eve was champion, I was hoping it was going to be Paige under the hood, taking out each Diva in turn etc which I had said in the previous incarnation of the 4w boards... Then when the Secret Admirer storyline was going on, I was secretly hoping that Paige was behind it and basically do what AJ has done... But that was a means to an end and it has given AJ the title... So now I would really like to see Paige come in and be given a decent wrestling feud and not just a one off storyline and then put to the back of the pile with the rest of the Divas...

I think Paige would be an IDEAL fit into a Heyman stable as such, as she isn't your typical Diva and she can wrestle and would be a great addition to the Heyman family.

The WWE NXT Tout account posted a video of Paul Heyman teasing that his next recruit may be a “Paul Heyman girl” instead of a male wrestler, leading fans to speculate that Heyman may be recruiting NXT Women’s Champion Paige. Heyman confirms he has found his next star but doesn’t say who

Hopefully Paige is coming up!!!!

They said not too long ago that they didn't want to call Paige up because she's too young. They only want people 21 and over on TV for some reason. That's why Vince did that jab at Triple H on his 44th birthday that he wanted someone "like you, but 20 or 23 years younger" to be the champion.

Hopefully they've changed their minds here, if this is the plan. I can only imagine how awesome it'll be to have someone as creepy and slimy as Heyman hanging around such a young, cute diva.

They may have changed there minds though as JoJo who has been on tour since joining Total Divas is only 19 years old
