GWA Blaze
Week 3
Live from Boise, Idaho

The opening video plays, showing highlights from GWA shows past, particularly of the guys who are still around like Kane, Daniel Bryan, Rhyno and Japanese Honor. After the video plays, we cut to the arena, and the new theme for GWA, "Re-Education (Through Labour)" by Rise Against blasts through the PA system as the crowd is panned by the camera.

Mick Foley: We are live from right here in Boise, Idaho! Welcome to GWA Blaze! And we're going to start things off with the #1 Contender for the GWA Heavyweight Championship as Paul Burchill is in action against an opponent of Daniel Bryan's choice.

Burchill comes to the ring to a great ovation from the crowd.

His opponent Rhyno makes his way down to the ring! Paul Burchill knows Rhyno is a difficult opponent and stares intently.

Mick Foley: Right now we're going to get the #1 Contender vs the former GWA Champion Rhyno! Rhyno has qualified for The Asylum and so he will be looking to gain some momentum with a victory over Burchill!

Match One - Pick Your Poison
Paul Burchill vs Rhyno

Rhyno wants momentum going into the Asylum match in just two weeks and what better way than to pick up a win over the #1 Contender for the GWA Championship. Burchill however is looking for a win too. Rhyno starts the match in control with his superior strength. He throws Burchill around a bit until the Ripper starts to gain momentum and build a comeback. Daniel Bryan comes out on to the ramp with the title on his shoulder. Burchill is distracted which leads Rhyno to hit a GORE! GORE! GORE! after five or so minutes but Burchill gets his foot on the bottom rope to stay in the match. Rhyno sets up for a second Gore, but Burchill sidesteps and sends him into the steel post of the turnbuckle. Rhyno rolls out and walks right into C4 from Burchill for the 1...2...3!
Winner: Paul Burchill

After the match, Bryan sarcastically applauds his challenger but leaves the stage without saying anything. We then cut backstage to Booker T's office. He hears a knock on the door and The PrimeTime Players enter the office.

Booker: Titus - Darren - what can I do for you, dawg?

The Tag Team Champions look at eachother, and it's Darren Young who speaks up.

Darren Young: Well see, Booker, last week Japanese Honor got a great opportunity to qualify for the Asylum and we think - as the champions of the tag division - we should be given an opportunity too.

Booker: Well, the thing is dawg, you two will be defending the titles at The Asylum PPV.

Titus O'Neil: That's fine with us, man. We still want an opportunity at The Asylum.

Darren Young: That's right. I'm Mr No Days Off. And Titus has been taking my work ethic too lately. We'll pull double duty, retain the tag titles and one of us will win The Asylum.

Booker doesn't seem convinced, but shrugs his shoulders.

Booker: Aight... if you two want the opportunity, then get ready for action - cos you'll both get Qualifiers tonight.

The PrimeTime Players look happy with that, and perform a mini Millions O' Dollars dance in the office, before leaving the office.

~Commercial Break~

Match Two - The Asylum Qualifier
The Miz v Titus O'Neil w/Darren Young

With Young at ringside, O'Neil looks confident at the start of this match. With Young's constant interferences, he dominates most of the match. Eventually, the referee gets fed up and throws Young out of the ring area. This allows Miz to finally work a fair match and he takes control, eventually taking out O'Neil with the Skullcrushing Finale for the victory just shy of seven minutes.
Winner and Qualified for The Asylum: The Miz

Mick Foley: Well despite their target to qualify for The Asylum, Miz has beaten O'Neil. Young could still qualify later tonight but if he does he'll be in that Asylum alone!

The Miz celebrates the victory before leaving the ring. We then cut to a small video package highlighting The Asylum match. We see of course the infamous spot from the first Asylum where Heidenreich fell from the top of the Cell through a table. When we come back to the live action, we are back in the ring for tag team action.

Mick Foley: Here come Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards - who are due to take on The Usos - and the winners of this match will challenge The PrimeTime Players for the titles at The Asylum!

Match Three - Number One Contender
The Usos v The American Wolves

Jimmy and Davey start the match. They go back and forth, neither man interested in tagging out in the early going. Davey takes out Jimmy with the Fireman's Carry Gutbuster before he decides to tag in Eddie. Eddie continues to work on Jimmy and the Wolves start to isolate him in the corner. This doesn't work out well though as Jimmy fights back, knocks Richards off the apron and takes out Eddie with a big drop kick followed by a splash but only gets a two count. Jimmy tags in Jey, who comes in pumped up, taking out Eddie with consecutive clotheslines. He sends Eddie to the corner and attempts the Stink Face but Eddie moves. Eddie tags in a now recovered Davey who takes out Jey with a belly-to-belly. Davey sets up for the double underhook piledriver but Jey fights out, takes out Davey with the Alley-Us Samoan Drop and then tags in Jimmy, who climbs the turnbuckle and hits a top-rope splash on Davey! As Jimmy pins, Jey ensures no interference and the Usos pick up the all-important victory.
Winner and #1 Contenders: The Usos

The Usos celebrate the victory, signalling the belts around their wastes. Meanwhile, The American Wolves look frustrated but know there is little they can do right now and retreat, defeated. The Usos celebrate with the crowd as we cut backstage to see the tag champions watching them from backstage.

O'Neil: Man, you know... The Usos, just like The Miz, got lucky tonight... and I may not be in The Asylum, but you can make quick work of MVP and qualify! You can represent us in that match, and then, not only will we beat The Usos to keep these bad boys (touches the title on his shoulder), you can win The Asylum... then we can bring the GWA Championship to the Prime Time Players - and you know what that means right, Darren?

Darren stares at him for a second and then nods and smiles.

Young: Million O' Dollars, baby.

We cut back to the ring and we go straight into the aforementioned Asylum qualifier. Young comes out first, with O'Neil alongside. However when they get to the ring, the referee tells them that O'Neil isn't sticking around after Young's consistent interferences earlier. O'Neil reluctantly leaves as MVP makes his way down to the ring.

Match Four - The Asylum Qualifier
Darren Young v MVP

The one half of the Tag Champions looks good to start the match but as it rolls on the experience starts to show and MVP starts to take control. After taking out Young with the Player's Boot, he gets an impressive victory to qualify for The Asylum.
Winner and Qualified for the Asylum: MVP

After the match, MVP celebrates and leaves as O'Neil comes to the ring, scowling, to see to his partner. While they are talking in the ring, The Usos come out on stage. Jimmy has a mic with him.

Jimmy: Hey Titus, Darren... I know you've suffered a lot of disappointment tonight and we just wanted to say - well, get used to it... because at The Asylum, we're going to take those titles from you - and no amount of DOLLAS are gonna stop that from happening... we are twins, we know eachother better than anyone else, and twins make the best tag teams for that reason - and the best tag teams should be champions - so we'll see you in two weeks guys, the clock is ticking...

Jimmy laughs as he and his twin leave the stage, feeling confident ahead of their tag title match at The Asylum.

~Commercial Break~

Mick Foley: Ladies and gentlemen, we've had a great night so far. Before the break, MVP qualified for The Asylum. He now joins The Miz who qualified earlier tonight, and Rhyno, Brock Lesnar, Kane and Japanese Honor! There's only three spots left in The Asylum and one of those spots will be filled later tonight as Kevin Steen takes on The Celtic Warrior Sheamus! But right now, we have an even bigger match - an intergender tag team match - with both the Cruiserweight and Womens Titles on the line! Cruiserweight Champion Sin Cara teams with Sara Del Rey to take on Chavo Guerrero and his cousin, the Womens Champion Raquel Diaz! Whatever happens, we will get a new champion!

Match Five - GWA Cruiserweight & Womens Championships
Sin Cara (c) & Sara Del Rey v Chavo Guerrero & Raquel Diaz (c)

The girls start the fight and Del Rey is out for revenge after being hit with the Womens Title two weeks ago by the self-proclaimed Queen of GWA. Del Rey goes all-out attack, hitting Diaz with everything she has and looking good at it too. She takes out Diaz with a German Suplex and follows it up with a bridging fallaway slam but only gets a two count. Diaz pushes Del Rey into the corner and takes her out with a clothesline shortly after and tags in Chavo, which means Sin Cara has to also get into the ring. They both run in and Sin Cara takes out Chavo with a dropkick. He follows with a springboard moonsault for a two count. Sin Cara and Chavo continue to battle and when Cara hits a right hand, Chavo holds his eye as if he had been raked. The referee checks up on the Mexican and Sin Cara steps back. While this is happening, Diaz taps Sin Cara on the shoulder - and slaps him right across the face! Chavo suddenly recovers and from behind grabs Sin Cara - setting him up for - and executing the Gory Bomb! Chavo hooks the leg and gets the victory to win the Cruiserweight Championship!
Winners, NEW Cruiserweight Champion: Chavo Guerrero & Raquel Diaz

After the match, Chavo Guerrero rolls out of the ring and takes the Cruiserweight title from ringside, celebrating with Diaz. The celebration is cut short when Del Rey runs around the ringside area and dives into Diaz! She starts hitting her repeatedly until Chavo pulls her off of Diaz. Diaz recovers and slaps Del Rey across the face, before throwing her into the steel steps! Emma once again runs down to help Del Rey, but Diaz takes the opportunity to slip through the crowd with Chavo, with both of them now holding Championship Gold.

Mick Foley: Once again, The Guerrero family are succesful! Once again it comes down to dirty tactics! Essentially, Sin Cara was screwed out of his title and Del Rey has missed out on an opportunity to win the Womens title. It's not ideal but it`s the pinfalls that count and The Guerreros got the pinfall! Don't go anywhere, because after the break, we have our third Asylum qualifier! Who will fill the eighth spot?

~Commercial Break~

Match Six - The Asylum Qualifier
Kevin Steen v Sheamus

Steen and Sheamus battle it out fair and square going back and forth until Ryback turns up on stage. Foley points out that Ryback lost by Countout to Sheamus for the UK Title and since then, hasn't been seen or heard. Ryback makes his way down to the ring while the match is going on. He then rolls into the ring - and punches Kevin Steen! The referee signals for the bell - disqualifying Sheamus!
Winner and Qualified for the Asylum: Kevin Steen

Kevin Steen rolls out of the ring and first of all looks irate, but then he smiles as he realises what has happened and that he has qualified for The Asylum. He leaves up the ramp and Sheamus stares down Ryback - before sending fists flying! The two behemoths battle it out in the ring which ends when Ryback takes out Sheamus with the Meathook Clothesline! With Sheamus down, Ryback grabs a mic.

Ryback: I'll keep this simple, Sheamus. Two weeks. Ryback vs Sheamus for the UK Title!

Ryback drops the mic and shouts "FEED ME MORE!!" before grabbing Sheamus and taking him out with Shellshocked!

Mick Foley: While it's not yet official, I think it's safe to assume at The Asylum PPV, Ryback will challenge Sheamus for the UK Title! And I think it's also safe to assume Sheamus will be out for revenge after tonight's events!

~Commercial Break~

Match Seven - GWA TV Championship
Mason Ryan (c) v Rob Terry

These two have a new-found friendship after Ryan has been the victim of Kevin Steen's nasty streak lately but that friendship is put on hold as they do battle for the TV Title! The two welshmen take turns in control, both of them with significant strength to pull off some nice power moves. Eventually though, the champion is the stronger man, who puts Terry away cleanly with the Sit-Out Powerbomb.
Winner and STILL TV Champion: Mason Ryan

After the match, Ryan helps Terry to his feet and the two of them hug it out in the ring. However they are interrupted by Kevin Steen who comes out with a microphone.

Kevin Steen: Sorry guys. Don't wanna break up this little love-fest but I have something to say!

Ryan and Terry turn their attention to their common enemy.

Kevin Steen: Mason Ryan, I have come to tell you that you`re holding a title you don`t deserve. That title belongs to someone who has qualified for The Asylum! Someone who can take the title off of you and then go on to win the Asylum and by extension, win the GWA Heavyweight Championship at WrestleWars II! In case you haven`t guessed yet, that title belongs with ME!

Ryan grabs a mic from ringside. Terry looks angry but he tells him he`ll handle this.

Mason Ryan: If that`s really how you feel, boyo, why don`t you come down to this ring and do something about it?

Steen doesn't wait for a second invitation and sprints down to the ring. Ryan rolls out of the ring, with the title in hand and the two start brawling on the ramp. Steen takes out Ryan after raking his eyes and sending him into the ramp guard. Terry rolls out of the ring but Steen picks up the TV Title and takes out Terry with it! Steen then decides he wants to leave with the TV Title and walks up the ramp. Ryan recovers, fuming, but decides to check on Terry rather than go after Steen and his TV Title.

~Commercial Break~

When we return, we are backstage with Booker T. Ryan and Terry walk into the office, Terry is still holding his head after taking a shot from the TV Title and Ryan looks less than thrilled.

Mason Ryan: Booker, that idiot Steen took my title... and now he's left the damn arena!

Booker: I know, and I understand your frustration, dawg. Listen, I've already left him a message on his cell, and he will be returning that title to you next week, you can bet on that.

Mason Ryan: I'm not a betting man, Book, but I am an angry man. And when Steen rolls into the show next week, he'll be giving me that title back - the easy way or the hard way.

Ryan and Terry leave the office with the issue unresolved and Booker looks frustrated that things are a little hectic tonight. We cut to ringside where Mick Foley is on screen.

Mick Foley: Well, like you just heard, Kevin Steen has left the arena - and he's taken Mason Ryan's title with him. I guess we'll just have to wait until next week to see what happens there as we're almost out of time tonight - but our main event is still to come - Paul Burchill has chosen an opponent for his opponent at The Asylum, the GWA Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Bryan! But who has he chosen to face him? Let's find out!

Daniel Bryan comes out to the ring. He gets the usual boos but he shakes them off, not giving a damn what reaction he gets as long as the GWA Championship is over his shoulder. He takes a mic before the match.

Daniel Bryan: Amazingly that loser Paul Burchill managed to pick up a win over Rhyno earlier tonight. I'll admit it, he surprised me a little - but it doesn't change the fact that I am a better wrestler than him. I am a better champion. And I am a better man. It doesn't change the fact that even with The Rock breathing down my neck during our title match in two weeks, when Paul Burchill is laid out in the middle of the ring, The Rock will have no choice but to call it down the middle. It doesn't change the fact that no matter how much Paul Burchill thinks he's ready to face me - he will NEVER be ready. The Asylum PPV will not be known as the night that Burchill finally gets one over on me - oh no - it'll be known as the night that Daniel Bryan finally - finally - put Burchill out of commission for good. Like I said before, the only thing Burchill has left is his career - and once I shatter that the man will have nothing left. So whoever it is that you've chosen to be my opponent Burchill,  bring 'em out. I'll do to them what I plan to do to you in two weeks!

Daniel Bryan drops the mic and waits for his opponent - only to find out it's - THE BIG RED MONSTER KANE! Bryan looks a little taken aback at first but seconds later reaffirms a look of confidence and warms up ready for his challenge.

Match Eight - Pick Your Poison
Daniel Bryan v Kane

Kane uses his strength and size advantage to throw the GWA Champion around the ring. He hits a few uppercuts that echo around the arena and looks to be in cruise control until Bryan hits a chop block and begins to work on Kane's leg. Bryan uses the ropes and turnbuckle to his advantage to cause more damage to Kane's leg. Bryan then gains some momentum with a series of kicks, followed by a roundhouse kick straight to Kane's head but he only gets a two count. Bryan comes off the ropes and takes Kane out with a big clothesline, before climbing the top rope and going for a Diving Headbutt - as he lands, Kane's hand shoots up and grabs him by the neck! Kane gets to his feet, looking for the Chokeslam, but Bryan rakes the eyes and rolls out of the ring! He walks up the ramp, shaking his head and telling Kane "Not today!". Bryan gets to the top of the ramp when the crowd explode as Burchill shows up from gorilla position! Bryan turns and sees Burchill, steps backwards and begins to walk down the ramp - and bumps right into Kane! Kane throws Bryan back into the ring but Bryan runs straight to the opposing ropes and comes back with a Baseball Slide! He rolls out and gets Kane back into the ring, and then locks in the LeBelle Lock! Bryan applies the pressure, trying to get the big man to tap out! Kane eventually reaches the ropes and after a four count, Bryan breaks the hold! Bryan climbs the ropes and this time succesfully hits the Diving Headbutt! He then rolls up Kane, grabbing a handful of tights in the process and gets the 1...2...3!
Winner: Daniel Bryan

Bryan doesn't get much of a chance to celebrate as Burchill is in the ring before Bryan can even stand up... Bryan gets to his feet, only to be taken out by a C4 in the middle of the ring! Burchill grabs a mic and screams at Bryan.

Burchill: I've listened to you spew your crap for weeks - and I've heard how you're gonna end my career - and how you're going to send me packing like the loser than I am right? Well, here's the thing Bryan! Everything you've done to me the last few months hasn't hindered me... all it's done is give me more incentive to absolutely destroy you! I've never felt this much hatred toward another human being - and the fact we're fighting in a No Disqualification match means I'm free to do as I please! And you should understand Bryan - that makes me a very dangerous man! You've had your fun, you've had your moment in the spotlight - but in doing that, you've sent me into a fit of rage - and the only way I can get rid of that rage is by ripping you apart! I hope you enjoyed your time as champion, Bryan, because as long as there's breath in my body, I'm taking that title off you come the Asylum.

Burchill grabs Bryan's face and gets within an inch of it.

Burchill: So may the best man win, champ!

Burchill then shoves Bryan's face into the mat, and rolls out of the ring, much to the approval of the crowd.

Mick Foley: In two weeks, we have the most personal Championship match in GWA History! I don't know who's going to win, but I do know that these two men are going to take eachother to hell and back! That's all we have time for tonight ladies and gentlemen, we'll see you next week! Have a nice day!
