You really do have to question TNA's booking decisions at times. Their latest is a clear showing that they either don't know what to do, or that they gave someone something and didn't like it so took it off him.

It's hot-shotting a title trying to create some buzz on the show. Russo use to love doing this in WCW trying to get a quick ratings spike. But he would do it every week so the belts and the switches meant nothing.

In this case, the X-Division title is practically scrap metal at this point. Mike Bennett has been built up in TNA for 6 months. He even ended EC3's 18 month undefeated streak, so his stocks quite high and they're pushing him as a main eventer.

Why even diminish him to the point that's he in the X-Division. He can't work a fast paced, highspots style anyway. Bennett should have given the briefcase to Trevor Lee (in exchange for Helms Dynasty interferes in one of his matches), then Lee cashes it in to get his belt back. Then have Eddie Edwards chase him for the title. He eventually wins it at whatever show. Then Davey Richard's comes back from his injury and either he joins back up with Edwards or they feud over the X-Division title.

There are some rumors that Alex Riley might be making his way to the TNA roster. Not that anyone will really care, I hardly do, but I thought it would be worth making a note of. I know alot of people like Alex Riley and on podcasts I always here people say that for some reason Riley would always get a reaction from the crowd, no matter how little tv time he got.

I'm still wondering how much TNA has left in the tank. After the Slammiversary fiasco, I have to wonder how much money they have. But TNA seems to have 9 lives...

I think Alex Riley was a seriously missed opportunity and actually really liked him in NXT. I suppose TNA is as good a place as any.

Mike Bennett winning the X-Division title kind of makes sense now. He did it, hoping to activate Option C at Destination X where you can cash the belt in to get a shot at the World Title.

Impact has been surprisingly decent the past two weeks. Its not like I'm watching the whole show but parts I would have skipped have been holding my interest.

I stand by what I said. He had a good look, was decent in the ring, decent on the mic. Not saying he was going to be a star or anything but he could be a solid midcarder.

Despite previous reports that TNA's sale was imminent, it doesn't sound like we should expect an announcement too soon. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Dixie Carter is currently on a two-week vacation in Africa, and since she's the key person in the negotiations, they are likely on-hold for now.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newseltter reports that TNA still needs to make a deal soon in order to stay afloat. The company was reportedly only able to film TV last month due to last-minute money put in by Billy Corgan.

The biggest issue that has reportedly prevented TNA from being sold is that Dixie Carter wants to remain on board after the sale. At one point, country singer Toby Keith was ready to sign the papers to buy the company, but Dixie Carter's father Bob insisted that she stay on TV playing the President of the company. Keith had wanted to bring back Jarrett to run the company.

According to reports, TNA is still behind on paying some of their staff.

It's almost like you can't make this shit up. Staff are going unpaid. TNA needs to be sold, that's been made clear for a while. Negotiations have apparently been going on for a few weeks now. So Dixie fucks of on a two week holiday which delays things.

Staff that are behind on pay must be well happy that she's got enough to go on a two week holiday to the other side of the world.

What's going on with TNA? I've heard they could be done if they don't get a buyer sorted out imminently. Dixie is clinging on by her fingernails again before she has to sell up. It looks like Billy Corgan or WWE are the two who want to buy it.

I actually saw someone saying the other day about how TNA will never go under because of how rich Dixie is. If she's that rich, why are they so desperate for buyers all the time? Oh that's right, it's her parents that are rich.

Corgan apparently has enough money to buy them, but Dixie still doesn't want to give up total control and it's her arrogance that is going to destroy TNA. Just give it up. Let Gorgan buy it all, because if WWE do then TNA will just be collapsed. At least with Corgan it has a chance.

I don't know how rich Dixie is. Because if she was so loaded, why would they be going through such financial turmoil? He parents are rich because of Panda Energy, but they sold their shares of TNA in 2012 im pretty sure. So its not wonder that is when the financial problems started to happen.

There is a difference between personal wealth and company wealth. TNA is an LLC, just like  my company is. Limited Liability Companies allow for private ownership but if the company goes tits up it doesn't ruin you personally. Having tonnes of personal wealth does not necessarily mean that it is wise to pump money into a sinking company. You have to look at for yourself at the same time. At least for me its a constant battle, how much remains with the company, with to withdraw for personal funds, etc. I would be bottoms to dollars this is what is happening with Dixie, she made a wise investment at the time, its sinking but she doesn't want to go down with it, but is struggling for a way that wont hurt her too much to make it succeed.\

Ninja Edit: Also, family wealth can also be a thing to consider. Aka I have already started a trust for my young ladies that no one can touch. They are also conditions on the money to dictate what it can be spend on. Ex. Education but not 1000s for clothes.

TNA has no money & Dixie won't put anything into it. They're drastically in debt, owing money to AeroLuxe, Billy Corgan and whoever else has kept them in business this month.

There's literally no point in continuing because funding another block of Impact tapings just puts them deeper into debt with no income from it.

There is breaking news regarding the sale of TNA.

According to WZ’s Justin LaBar, sources are reporting WWE will be purchasing the TNA video library.

Furthermore, Billy Corgan is going to become the new majority owner and is expected to rebrand TNA into a new company.

We will have more information when it becomes available.

This news is released only two days after reports surfaced that Dixie Carter addressed the locker room before the Impact taping Monday night.

Best thing to happen to TNA in a while if this is true. Dixie going is by far the best as she's run the company into the ground and beyond. Wonder what they'll go with regarding the "total re-branding" part - suggests new name, etc, whilst WWE has the TNA library.

TNA put the World Title on Eddie Edwards the other night. Things are desperate.

Cody Rhodes has turned up for this set of tapings. Why would you even bother? He even wasted money on getting TNA stitched into his boots.

While Billy Corgan had the final creatively at the last set of TNA TV tapings, Dixie Carter remains the majority shareholder of the company. Executives from The Fight Network were also backstage to meet with Carter, as they are also company shareholders. Dixie left before the end of the tapings.

According to the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is a lot of frustration among company employees and wrestlers due to the extended state of ownership limbo. TNA still reportedly owes a significant amount of money to some of their performers. There is also heat on Dixie Carter for the perception that she's handling things badly and causing deals to fall apart.

According to the Observer, things are heated behind-the-scenes between Dixie Carter and potential buyers Billy Corgan and Aroluxe Marketing. It now appears that Aroluxe may be the most-likely buyer.

There's currently no word on who funded the previous set of tapings. It wasn't WWE, and WWE is reportedly no longer in talks to purchase the company.

Heat on Dixie backstage... who'd have figured? She's like a cancer to TNA. With WWE apparently backing out of talks to buy TNA (if they were interested anyway), there's some hope that they can continue since we all know that if WWE actually brought them then they'd dissolve the whole thing like they did with WCW. So there's some hope for TNA... just need to get rid of Dixie who it seems is determined to run them into the ground instead of selling up.

According to PWInsider.com, TNA President Billy Corgan filed a lawsuit against Impact Wrestling, parent company Impact Ventures LLC, TNA Chairman Dixie Carter, TNA Chief Financial Officer Dean Broadhead and Dixie’s husband Serg Salias in Chancery Court in Nashville on Wednesday.

A temporary restraining order was approved, and Billy Corgan filed a bond to support it today. A hearing for a temporary injunction has been scheduled for Thursday, October 20th at 11:30am local time, and Corgan has requested a six-person jury to decide the case.

Filings for the lawsuit have been sealed until further notice.

In addition to the previous post, this has now come out. A restraining order between the TNA President and TNA Chairman. Not sure what can really be said about that... it's kind of embarrassing.

Dixie is such a scummy fucker. Corgan put money into the company to keep the lights on and fund their TV tapings. Now she's trying to stop him from buying the company when there are no other options. I read on PWTorch she's trying to align herself with some other group who will take control but she's still involved. She's power mad even when she has no clue what she's doing.

The details what come out in the court hearing next week will make interesting reading.

A restraining order is actually pretty common in a situation like this.  All it does is restrain Dixie from pulling the rug out from under Billy and selling to someone else while they are in negotiations.

TNA's ever decreasing downfall is getting worse. Meltzer reported last night that TNA owes Aroluxe, Anthem and MCC Acquisitions $3.4 million. That doesn't include the money owed to Billy Corgan, talent, production staff and whoever funded the past tapings.

In another "for fucks sake TNA" they've sold part of their tape library to Anthem Sports to pay off a debt. They will probably now just sell it to WWE for even more money.

The State of Tennessee are also going after TNA because they haven't paid their taxes. The state can seize goods to alleviate the debt if necessary.

Meltzer also reported TNA head of talent, creative, etc, John Gaburick went to Kevin Dunn and said he could get them the tape library if they gave him a job.

On this weeks show, music for DJ Z & Mike Bennett was cut out. Dale Oliver who writes a lot of TNA theme's probably hasn't been paid for them. Billy Corgan who has brought a lot of theme's with him through his music contacts, are still being used.

Dixie would say it's just a flesh wound.

Close the company it's never going to make any money. It's never getting out of debt. It's fucked.

I was reading about the amount of money they apparently owe. The Tax one is probably the worst as they could end up without a ring to wrestle in if debt collectors decide that that's what they're going to take to pay the Tax.

Seems that Corgan funded the last few shows and his problem with Dixie is that he paid on the agreement that the company would be sold to him. Dixie is now said no to selling and won't give Corgan his money back. That just shows how poorly she's handling things, taking money on an agreement and then not even paying the money back upon breaking it. She has no money to pay him back which is a problem in itself, so if she was a decent person she'd stick to selling to him. She's really not looking good in any of this. Not in the slightest.

A number of lawsuits against TNA came to light this week including one filed by Billy Corgan. Corgan had funded some television tapings this year under the belief that he would be buying the company, but Dixie ended up not selling to him. The lawsuit was filed after Corgan asked for his money back since Dixie wouldn't sell to him, and they didn't pay.

In an update on this from Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reports that "there's fraud involved in the lawsuit," in addition to the money owed.

"(Billy Corgan) not being told of certain financial things and information withheld by Dixie Carter to Corgan that he should have known," Meltzer said.

There's a preliminary hearing scheduled for next week in Nashville and the lawsuit may be unsealed. Impact was almost pulled from Pop TV this week due to a music clearance issue, and the show was their least-viewed episode since the company's early days on Fox Sports 1.

Dixie is turning out too be a delusional idiot... I get that it is probably Corgan's dream too own a company on TV, I don't think he wants TNA or the debt that comes with it.

Dixie is trying to make herself not look back by admitting defeat. Too late for that, she's looked bad for years and how all this is being handled is just making her look worse. Only way she comes out looking okay is to sell to Corgan before it's really too late for TNA.

More shit. American Express have filed a lawsuit because TNA haven't paid a $269k bill of travel expenses. TNA will also have to pay all the court costs.

Anyone hear Jeremy Borash on the Taz podcast. He still says all the internet rumours about people being paid late are fabricated.
