4CW Stormfront Preview: 13th June 2016

I doubt I'll have anything in time. I'm in excruciating pain since all day yesterday, wisdom tooth. I've just had a tooth out on Friday as well, and to top it all off, my girlfriend left me yesterday around the same time my pain started. Last month was almost all hard times too. In the process of moving, that's another thing. Just... everything is happening at once.

I'll write the Survival Chamber. 🙂

Is the Survival Chamber one-fall or elimination?

One-fall.

Edit, official match rules:

-One fall match.
-A chamber surrounds the ring, similar to Elimination Chamber but without the pods. Instead of the pods, big crates attached to the corners of the chamber full of weapons of different varieties.
-Match ends by submission only.
-Whoever gets the submission is winner and decides next round's stipulation.
-Whoever gets submitted is eliminated.

Looking forward to a Sery/Supreme showdown, so I think he may lose his match due to......something.

And for the main event, I think it's Rhysus' match to lose. He gets the first pinball and chooses the next stipulation and I think he makes Bally Hoo tap!

When are RPs due? Saturday at midnight?

I think Compy changed it to Sunday with the show going up on the Monday evening (gmt ;-) )

Yeah Sunday's the deadline, so we've got a weekend to write!  Does anyone else want to write a match?

Just a helpful reminder to let everyone know that tonight's the deadline for RPs, and if you have any matches or segs written, get them to me by tomorrow evening for the show to be on time.

I've submitted my bit. I'd guess either Compy is waiting for something important for the show or he's just been busy.

Sorry about the wait guys, such a manic week.  From now on, I'm going to start putting segs and matches straight in the bookers' section so if I'm late, who ever's got access can post it.

Anyway, I've just sat down to start putting everything together (intro's done, just a case of copying and pasting the segs and matches), and my Firefox on my laptop goes all weird.  Le sigh, why now of all days 🙁.

If it's still playing up tomorrow, I might need to forward PMs to a willing volunteer to post for me.

If you want a suggestion from my past failures, post literally everything you write to the booking forum. Get half a match done? Post it. Finish a seg? Post it. Make a thread each week for people to post pieces of the show as they go, and compile all of it in a separate thread. I'd even go as far as saying to update your parts every time you take a break from writing, because you never know, and it's better to have part of something with a bit of direction in it than nothing.

My second bit of advice would be, if the show is going to be late, start posting parts of it and make a new post telling people it's been updated each time you add something in. You can post what you have with the missing pieces to be filled in, but in my experience that causes people to skim or even skip reading what eventually does get added. You might try starting with as much of the show as you have, or even just the first match and a bit, so you can keep interest in the show. It'd be like people are reading live results of Raw or something.

Not criticisms, we all have lives. I think most people would take "I've been busy" as a valid excuse. But if you can't do something by yourself one week, there's no harm in reaching out to your team for help.

So... What's goin on over here?

I know Compy was having some trouble with his laptop or something. I was supposed to post the show for him, but I haven't received everything from him and I haven't been able to get hold of him last few days.

He probably split champagne over his laptop celebrating us voting to leave the EU.
