NXT isn't going anywhere. As for star power, sure some people may get called up for the brand split but there are dozens in the wings waiting to debut that have been all over the house shows.
According to PWInsider.com, WWE NXT star Elias Samson appeared to have suffered an injury at last night’s live event in Nashville. Samson faced Andrade Cien Almas in a match, which had to be stopped when Samson looked to have injured his leg and the referee had to throw up the “X” sign.
Samson had to be helped to the back on crutches after the stopping of the match and he will be undergoing tests this weekend.
Hope it isn't too serious..

While I wish him no harm, I'm really not going to miss him.

Some interesting notes from a media call Triple H had today about NXT. Saying that NXT Takeover: The End has some special meaning.
Triple H is currently conducting a WWE NXT Takeover media call, and below are a few highlights.
On the upcoming WWE brand split, Triple H said he expects the NXT roster to look different following the roster draft, but he doesn’t know for sure what moves will be made.
He teased that “The End” has a lot of meanings for the NXT Takeover event, and we will find out more tomorrow night. As we have noted in the past, there has been speculation that the upcoming WWE brand split might have something to do the Takeover event being called “The End.”
With regards to the WWE brand split affecting NXT touring, Triple H said that it’s always a juggle, and that if NXT talents are sent to Raw and Smackdown after the draft then he has 70 to 80 other talents waiting at the WWE Performance Center to make the step up to NXT.
In terms of NXT star debuts, Triple H says he is very excited for the debut of Andrade “Cien” Almas, and that he expects Almas to be a big player.

If they bring some weak ass lineup over here for their tour later this month, I'm gonna a be pissed.
Triple H also said that Bobby Roode and Eric Young have not signed a contract yet. I hope they get on the ball with that, I need me some Bobby Roode in NXT!

The special significance will probably just be that The End is just the end of TakeOver PPVs and they'll go by different names from here on out.

Its pretty awesome how the cage match between Joe and Balor to blow off the feud, has such a classic old school type vibe to it. Its how the cage should be booked all the time. Even on the main roster. As a blow off to a huge feud like this.

To be honest, the Carolina and Texas shows were pretty weak in the grand scheme of things. We saw several people who weren't even on NXT, and if they had been, they jobbed in a minute without even so much as a name check by the commentators.
I went to one of the Carolina shows and while it was cool to see Shinsuske Nakamura in his second singles match in a WWE ring ever (where he faced Manny Andrade aka this new "Cien" guy)...we were stuck with a tag title rematch of AA vs. Revival which was nowhere near the level of intensity of the Takeover bout, and a pretty lackluster main event of Baron Corbin and Tye Dillinger vs. Austin Aries and Finn Balor.
Maybe I just had too many expectations and was too conditioned to seeing Charlotte vs. Sasha and Sami vs. Neville, etc.
But, I would expect them to deliver a pretty special set of shows in the UK because of how seldom y'all get any live WWE action in general.
I would say to go into the show having absolutely zero expectations and then you'll be very surprised by it all. I've done that with Widespread Panic shows before and it works like a dream. It really helps with separating the perception of how the show could have gone and how it actually went if that makes any sense.
Good show! First Takeover I've watched live on the Network. Best matches of the night were The Revival vs. American Alpha and Nakamura vs. Aries, along with the main event of course. I would have to give the rub to Nakamura and Aries, that match was just pure awesome all the way through.
Does anyone else think that Nakamura looks like a star? He just seems bigger than NXT and looks destined for great things. Surprised to see American Alpha lose the titles so soon. Some big dudes come in and attack them after the match, I wonder who they are?
Joe vs. Balor was solid. Nice high spot for Joe to end the match up. I wonder if Balor will finally be getting called up. Its about time he does right?
The only real let down was the womens match. That was probably because Jax is so inexperienced, but who knows. I dont know to much about her. Still forming opinions on some of these NXT people I haven't seen before. But loving NXT, its so refreshing.
Looks like Bobby Roode will be on our screens soon 🙂

Was a great show although Dallas was slightly better. Nakamura/Aries was match of the night but the main event and the tag match was great too and I liked the ending of Asuka v Jax.

That was The Authors of Pain that came out with Ellering.
Gzim Selmani and Sunny Dhinsa.

Regal really is great. Will be a sad day when WWE decide to move him on.
Watched the show earlier on. Was good. Can't wait to see them over here later this month - it's actually next Friday that they're in my city. I'd be happy if they did a load of rematches from this PPV.
Good Lord that Tag Title match was absolutely BONKERS!!! I'm kinda proud to say I've seen that match live even though it was nowhere near that level of intensity.
How about the fans chanting "Who Are You?" at Paul Ellering of all people??? hahahaha wowza
Not defending, but I'm pretty sure the chant was towards The Authors not Alleging as it started before he came out. I really hope that's the case at least.
I thought it started as he came out because there were very audible boos during the attack. Meh
I recognised him but couldn't place my finger on who he was until they said it... my defense is I'm not old. 😋

"Precious" Paul is so distinguishable that he's indistinguishable! IT'S GENIUS!!
Just to let you UK fans know, BOBBY ROODE is in the house at the Download Festival and may even be doing the UK tour. He was dressed to wrestle with his robe and everything, NXT just showed a short clip of his entrance and the fan reaction on Twitter. Pretty cool debut if you ask me!!
I'll take that. One of the few that I've seen before, but definitely not going to complain as he's quite good.

Just waiting for the place to fill up. It's sold out completely and I have a good view of everything from here. Should be good - apparently the main event will be Balor & Nakamura against Samoa Joe & Aries.
Enjoy! That sounds like a killer main event.

Fuckin A man! Enjoy!!
....like, say, EVOLVE??
