from wwe.com:

Tonight, Mark Henry is scheduled to appear on Raw for the first time since he closed the door on the WWE Universe immediately after his brutal Strap Match against Sheamus at Extreme Rules. But is it possible that The World's Strongest Man is planning to announce his retirement from the squared circle?

Ahead of Raw tonight in Grand Rapids, Mich., the entire WWE Universe has been buzzing on social media about that very question, due to a pair of curious tweets sent out by the massive Superstar on Sunday night.

@TheMarkHenry: "Whether you loved or hated me in my career, I was all ways there for you. i appreciate u all. Good or bad I will live forever with u the fans."
@TheMarkHenry: "#raw #wwe I have spoke to my family and hope to talk to all of you fans tomorrow live from Grand Rapids. Guys Father Time is undefeated."
With suspicions starting to run rampant, Managing Supervisor of Raw Vickie Guerrero tweeted in response:

@ExcuseMeWWE: "Tonight on #Raw, @TheMarkHenry will address WWE Universe. Great career, amazing competitor. #WWE"
Members of the WWE Universe also chimed in with an outpouring of appreciation for The World’s Strongest Man:

@RJBPHILLY: "@TheMarkHenry We love you man! WSM lives forever."
@MichaelxHell: "@TheMarkHenry that does not sound good. If this means the end of your career, thank you for everything. It's been an awesome journey"
@ImAddicted2WWE: "@TheMarkHenry Thank You!! For being there to entertain Us.Can't wait to see you on #Raw 🙂 x #WWE"
But, is the curator of the Hall of Pain truly ready to walk away from the ring? All eyes will be on what Henry has to say to the WWE Universe tonight on Raw.

Hmm... well if he is going, then he's had a good career. Not the most entertaining at times but he won the World Title on a few occasions and that's nothing to be sniffed at. He always played a good heel monster to be fair.

Or it could be some angle... lol

I'm thinking it's a sympathy angle. They've been thinking about turning him face, according to The Internet

Oh God no, Henry only works as a monster heel. Its the best thing for him. His character just wouldn't work as a face. The past few years are the best that he's ever been. Changing it will ruin him.

Watch it from here, Cena does an annoying little promo first and then Henry gives us the promo of his career. Amazing emotion:

Ok, so I watched it.  It was crap.  Boring shit in front of an audience with no memory.  Have people forgotten he's one of the worst workers in history?  I heard he was doing better recently, but really, better from where he was is still poor.  I remember him from when I used to watch and he was awful.  Really, really bad.  Sure the last 10 seconds were interesting, but then I just felt bad for everyone that still watches wrestling because there will be more bad, slow matches.  And with Cena as well...  Can't wait til that one headlines PPV's...  I can see any match with those two outshining HBK Vs Angle...

Chuckles, amazing emotion?  I just saw him fake cry a few times.  At least I don't watch this crap!

You sir, are jaded.

Henry has been excellent for two or three years now, since they let him go heel and be himself. His matches aren't anything that special, but his character and his actions are awesome and that's covered for his limits well enough.

When they announced the retirement I figured it was a work, they'd pushed it too hard, but as he talked I started to believe it. Then I got angry that Cena had to be out there, stealing the focus. Then, bam! Awesome.

I agree with chux. But that maybe solely down to the fact I love watching Cena get trolled.
