So... You were given a ticket as a gift so you didn't pay anything for it. You're mad that no one would give you money for the gift you didn't pay for. You're judging a show by 3 announced matches and a list of people appearing before ever seeing it. You're bitching over something that someone spent their money on thinking that it would be something you would enjoy because you say you're a fan...

I'd go for the women's match alone. That's guaranteed to be good (assuming you mean the womens title, not the 5-on-5)

I know I'm ungrateful. I wanted to sell it to go & see Charles Bradley but I've got to go & see Jack Swagger & Stardust fanny around trying to be relevant. That roster is like the 1980's C Team who did the high school gyms, the only ones worth watching will be the women's match.
I wouldn't really call myself a fan of WWE anymore, I watch matches if they're given enough praise but life's too short to watch 3 hours of humdrum entertainment.
Shame there's no Owens, AJ, Ziggler or Zayn tho. They'd be great to see live. I'm sure you'll enjoy it, will surely be better being in the crowd than watching WWE on TV. I can't wait for the NXT show to come to Plymouth, will be the first WWE event I've been to. Done TNA and some other UK shows, but never a WWE one.
Agree with Rhys as well, the womens match should be good. Was one of the good matches at Mania.
I don't blame you at all Ross. if i was given a ticket to say a raw or smackdown i'd honestly just sell it or give it to someone else who i'm sure would be thrilled to go... i've been to the show enough times so i know what to expect pretty much.... but now it's just too damn long likely a 4 hour show when you included the tapings before raw and smackdown...
anyways, that card looks dreadful... i guess if you like those three women then you might find something good in that.... otherwise it's more so going just to see some of these guys cause the matches are nothing special on paper and the event its self will like be nothing special either.

I mean so ross don't care about the show he was given the ticket as a gift just like an ugly sweater when you get it and have really no intention of wearing it so you'd just go exchange it for something else... in this case event tickets have no refund policy unless the show is cancelled or something like that.... random house show tickets aren't really a big deal to anyone so i'm not surprised no buyers took interest.... just saying ease up a little... Ross does an awful on 4w for many of us to pay attention to or learn something about or just to get people talking... no need to call him out so harshly like that.

Fuck it. Don't go if you have something better to do. I'd probably go see Widespread Panic over a WWE house show if in the same area. Just lie about going, find results with a few details, share em and move on with life. The injuries are bad these days but I would've hoped for at least one that you mentioned or even Cesaro for Europe's sake!! Swagger has improved greatly over the years to me, really dig his work.

I'm not a big fan of going to WWE live events anymore. The last one I went to (Nov '14) was full of kids and families. Half the parents were only with the kids because the kids were wrestling fans, and so didn't know what was going on. Made the atmosphere a bit weird.
Compare that to the crowds at the NXT shows or the crowds at the bars for the PPVs and it's so different. They're all made up of hardcore passionate fans and it's fun talking with them and joining in on the chants.

That's the weird thing. To go to the show, (from where I was) it would cost a family of 4, £200, plus food, plus merchandise. The amount of crap people were buying was ridiculous. I saw people walking out with Money In The Bank briefcases! How are you ever going to use that in your daily life?!
The show was ok, you can make up your own mind if this is a decent card.
Opener: Cesaro vs. Rusev - Decent enough, both got the crowd into it
Tyler Breeze vs. Sin Cara - Fairly short but good amount of action
Tyler Breeze vs. Jack Swagger - Lasted a minute, Swagger didn't even take his t-shirt off. Came to the ring with a GB flag for a cheap pop
Stardust vs. Kane - fairly bland, uninspiring
New Day vs. Dudley's - Good enough match, New Day were over.
Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch - Probably the best match of the show. Crowd weren't that into it though.
Uso's vs. Wyatt Family - This was chore, started to switch off by this point
Sheamus vs. Roman Reigns - Was what is was. It looked like people had, had enough. As soon as the hand hit 3, people were out of their seats and off.
I'd have paid 20 bucks here in the states gor that kinda show. Doesn't seem bad but definitely could've trimmed some of the fat. I would quite enjoy sin cara vs breeze I would think and Cesaro vs Rusev seems fun!

I got given a ticket for Christmas for the WWE Nottingham show tomorrow. It's a pretty good seat as well, not ringside but in the middle tiered.
I tried to sell it on StubHub but no fucker would buy it. So it looks like I will have to go.
The card looks rubbish. Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus as the main event. New Day vs. Eric Rowan because Bray Wyatt is injured. They will probably stick that other big lump with him. Then you've got Uso's & Dudleys on the show. A rematch of the women's match from WrestleMania. Stardust, Sin Cara, Jack Swagger, Tyler Breeze are also on the show. No AJ Styles, no Kevin Owens, no Sami Zayn, no Dolph Ziggler.
