WWE.com confirmed the passing of former ECW Original Jonathan "Balls Mahoney" Rechner on Tuesday evening. Rechner died at age 44.
The official WWE website posted the following:
Balls Mahoney passes away
"WWE is saddened to learn of reports that Jonathan Rechner, best known for competing in ECW as Balls Mahoney, has passed away. WWE extends its condolences to Rechner's family, friends and fans."

Dam, 44. The guy didn't age well at all though, I saw a picture of him a year ago when someone met him and he looked really rough.

considering what he put himself through during his career, I'm not surprised he didn't age well, not to mention died young. Ah well... Condolences to his family I guess. :-(

I was saying just last night to someone about ECW that all those guys look so bad now... many were trained poorly and had no business being pro wrestlers... so many of those guys turned to alcohol and hard drugs.... i mean so many of them look like former crack/meth heads now.

Anyways. RIP balls.
