oh God, that's far too much.... Last year was tiring anyway. And a 2 hour pre show?! my goodness, 2 hours of Booker T shouting at us, Corey Graves trying to be sarcky and Byron Saxton being..... well, Byrin Saxton.... along with matches no-one really cares about..... please, kill me now

I'm excited for it. It looks like it's shaping up to be a good event - and I've felt pretty down about WWE in recent months as I think their booking decisions have been very questionable. Not completely happy with the built for Mania as it doesn't feel as special as it should do, but it's still shaping up to be a good event. Not that I'll watch the pre-show or anything as I never do.

I'm excited for WM, of course... Just more excited for TakeOver. I can't wait for Brock/Ambrose. Got a feeling it's gonna be one of those matches you never forget.

I guess it's a 2 hour pre-show, 4 hour mania, 1 hour post show = over kill. or 7 hours

I'm disappointed with the IC Title match. Was so hastily thrown together and there's no sense in adding Stardust (please go back to Cody already), Sin Cara and Zack Ryder in there at all. What on earth has Ryder done to get an IC Title match at Mania? Anyone?! No? That's because he's done nothing. He's barely on TV and on the few occasions that he is, he's booked like a right chump. I'd have been happier if they'd just left it as Owens, Miz, Ziggler and Zayn - ladder match or not. Want to make it a 7 man ladder match? Add in 3 other people that deserve it - although looking through the roster, I'm not sure who else I'd pick since a lot of them have matches already. Breeze would have been a good choice though, even though his booking has been poor.

Yeah, it floors me that Ryder is in this match. Or that all ladder matches have to be huge multi man contests now. Why couldn't we have a triple threat ladder match? Or even a 1 on 1 at Mania. I get trying to cram as many people onto a show as possible.. But quality over quantity. Oh well, hopefully its a good match.

I agree with most been said.

Owens v Zayn one on one would have topped it all.

Side note: am I the only one who likes Stardust?

That was my hope, would have been a really good match with just the two of them. Give them 20 odd minutes and show the world what they can do together since they know each other very well.

With Stardust... I prefer him as Cody. Would be nice to see him change back. Not that it's a bad character as I like Goldust and Stardust is an extension of that... but I just prefer Cody as Cody not Stardust. He seemed to be used better as well.

They used to start WrestleMania with the Money in the Bank match to get the crowd into it. This looks likes a similar deal with the IC belt instead of the briefcase on the line.

The card does look crap though. Is the roster even deep enough for a Battle Royal? Hogan will probably come out and bodyslam/leg drop the Andre statue thinking its WrestleMania 3 again and he's in the Silverdome.

There's going to be 3 matches on the pre-show this year.

Thankfully the Andre Battle Royal has been confirmed as a pre-show match. So happy as I don't want to watch that clusterfuck of a match.
The Dudleys vs the Usos is also a pre-show match. Not a surprise there really.
There will also be a Team Total Divas vs. Team Bad and Blonde, with Natalya, Paige, Alicia Fox, Brie Bella and Eva Marie taking on Lana, Tamina Snuka, Naomi, Emma and Summer Rae. Basically any woman on the main roster who's not in the title match, so this'll be a boring one. Would have been better having it with less people involved to show what they can do, but I guess it's a pre-show match so no one really cares anyway.

At least that explains why the pre-show is so long for Mania.

Wow, I would imagine getting the entire roster a payday ends up bringing down the pay of a lot of the people who deserve it and are working for longer and featured in a more prominent role.  But, they're gonna make a shit ton of money on this one anyway...so it doesn't really matter in the end if The Undertaker gets $10,000 less than he normally gets in his paycheck hahaha!

Being a part of WrestleMania used to be a privilege...now it's expected.  So goes with the times I guess, right???

Is the Shane McMahon/Undertaker match sponsored by Ronseal creosote? This pair of middle-agers with their day-glo tans look ridiculous. The punches Shane throws are absolutely woeful, they don't look like they could hurt a toddler. Gotta give him credit for getting into great shape for the match though.

Hall of Fame had some funny moments.

- The New Day inducted The Fabulous Freebirds. The Freebirds brought out (a wired) Kevin Von Erich who talked about his brothers, and the Freebirds were like brothers. Then he says those New Gay Guys are like brothers too. I thought thats a bit random until I read he probably meant the New Day. Michael Hayes & Jimmy Garvin came out boogieing around. Jimmy looked like he was going to pass out from dancing. Hayes was rocking a plastic trench coat, cowboy hat and fanny pack. Then at the end, Hayes goes through the crowd singing Badstreet USA. Meeting Sheiky baby, Larry Zbyszko, fist bumping with the Wolfpac & DDP.

- Stan Hansen had a good speech & looked cool in his tux. Vader inducted him and was trying to hog the limelight a bit. I think everyone was still trying to bleach their eyes after his Twitter dick pic from last week.

- Sting was good as well. He officially announced his retired then said, "Its not goodbye, it's see you later." Flair went off on a tangent praising his daughter, Hunter & Shawn during the induction and didn't really say much about Sting.

- Snoop Dogg was pretty cool and had a fairly short speech. Didn't realise he & Sasha Banks were related.

- Kalisto turned up with his mask on, and his wife had her own mask made which looked like Sexy Star's.

The Middle Eastern contingent of the audience.

Sexy Star is married to Jhonny Gonzalez who's a former world champion boxer. I remember watching one of his fights and she was in the crowd with the mask on,

Yeah, they've bumped back the US Title match to the pre-show so that the Battle Royal can be on the main show. That's a huge let down. Seriously have no interest at all in the Battle Royal.

Kalisto just retained against Ryback.

5 v 5 Diva's match is on now.

Supposed to be a problem with WiFi at the arena causing the ticket scanners to not work. The stadium is only a quarter full right now.

EDIT

Total Diva's team wins. Nikki Bella comes out ala John Terry in full gear to celebrate with them.

Pre-show was decent, nothing more to say. Lana looked decent in ring.

Zack Ryder winning the IC Title stunned me. Don't know what to think of it.

New Day entrance was awesome, match was OK, Foley, HBK, Austin coming out and laying the SmackDown was great.

Styles v Jericho was good but not their best match - weird that Jericho won.

Also weird that Charlotte retained - but the women put on match of the night and stole the show. Incredible effort by all three. Sasha had a cool entrance. Womens Championship looks great I'm really happy with it.

I was really disappointed with Lesnar/Ambrose. It felt rushed and half-assed; and it was the match I was looking forward to most. I'm most bitter about that match - it was missing 5-10 minutes.

Andre Battle Royal was meh. Corbin winning was a surprise but still meh.

Shane is a fucking lunatic and I was terrified watching him jump off that cell. What a crazy fucker. Much respect for sacrificing his body like that. Great match and Undertaker wins - but I don't think this story is over.

I personally enjoyed the whole Wyatts/Rock/Cena thing.

Main event was OK, and just OK. Reigns pulled off some good spots - but regardless of what X-Pac tries to say on Twitter, he was booed the fuck out of that show.

Overall it was a weird show. Plenty of ups and downs. An unforgettable show but not a brilliant show. I'd give it a 7/10.

I wish they'd let Garcia sing the national anthem. Whoever those girls were that sung it were fucking awful.

The IC Title match was probably my second favourite match of the night. Thought it was a great way to open the show. Owens taking a T-Bone suplex onto the ladder was nuts. Looked great, but also looked painful. Ryder winner was so very random though - the guy doesn't get on TV and the few rare times that he does he's the ultimate jobber. Wonder whether they'll give him a proper go, or whether he'll lose his rematch in 2 minutes.

New Day match was alright. Don't mind LoN winning since it wasn't for the belts, but that one I figured anyway because it wasn't for the belts. Big E looks like he really hurt himself with his dive out of the ring. They tried to cover it up by saying that Kingston had tagged in and that maybe Big E wasn't the legal man... er, nope. Big E was definitely the legal man. It worked though and hopefully he's alright and didn't land on his head too hard.

Styles vs Jericho was okay. Seen better between them. One funny part was when Styles hit the Styles Clash. Just as he'd locked Jericho into it, my mate turned to me and said "hey AJ, nice finisher. Can't wait to kick out of it." And then Jericho kicked out.

Agree with Rhys, the Lesnar match felt rushed. I was expecting them to leave the ring as well, but they kept everything in the ring. Could easily have gone on longer, but it was fun watching Lesnar toss him around like a rag doll.

Womens match was very good. Probably match of the night ahead of the ladder match. And I was wrong about the new womens belt, it actually looks great. In fact, the design looks a lot better as a womens belt than it does the WWE title. Was surprised that Charlotte won, but I guess with them deciding to rename the division they just kept things as they were for now. Honestly doesn't bother me who won though, as the match was good.

Taker vs Shane was mad. Wasn't a good match, but it'll be remembered and you can say that about a lot of matches in history. The cage jump looked ridiculously high.

Still can't believe they did the battle royal on the ppv. And I couldn't work out why a few people got entrances and others didn't. The Network kept cutting out (more on that in a bit), so we went from seeing them all in the ring, to putting it back on and just Shaq and Big Show where in there. So we were like "wtf, they've eliminated all of them in less than a minute?" and so it was odd seeing how the rest of the match unfolded. Not sure about Corbin winning, but then it's a meaningless match so who cares.

The Rock segment was okay. Wyatt was exceptional, he's so good on the mic. And they finally got their quickest ever Mania win... so woo WWE. You've been trying that ever since the Sheamus v Bryan match failed to make the record time. Don't know why they're so obsessed with it and Garcia was quick enough to announce the record. Was a fun segment overall though. And Cena needs to be tested. No way you come back from a 9 month injury in 3 naturally. But you know they won't test him, that'd make him and the company look bad since he's their biggest asset.

The main event was okay. But by this point I was so fucking tired I was almost beyond caring. A 5 hour PPV is just way too long. I hope they don't do it again and go back to just 4 hours for Wrestlemania. And the crowd shit on Reigns, they really need to do a heel turn with him or something.

Now, my main problem with the night was the WWE Network. What a load of shit. Last years Mania was filled with the show cutting out, freezing and video quality dropping. This years had the same. They've had a year to prepare and learn, they've had more subscribers and spend their marketing on giving more people free months for Mania to get more subscribers (seen it all over my Facebook feed trying to promote the Network based of Mania), and it was just as shit as last year. Absolute joke. Luckily the only one that actually affected us was during the beginning of the Battle Royal, the one match we didn't care about. All the other ones we had were in between matches. Saw an awful lot of people complaining about it last night, with shit loads saying that they're cancelling their subscription because they're so angry and that WWE clearly didn't learn from last year and should have been prepared - and they're right.
