There's 2 that I'm actually disappointed with, as both would be quite cool. Unfortunately, knowing the date I knew not to get excited... with one of them I would probably have pissed my pants in excitement if it was real.
So one is news of a live action Star Wars series on Netflix - that's the one I would have been really excited about. Great idea and a real shame it's not true.
The other is a local thing. Our airport was closed years ago as it was hardly used - definitely not enough to warrant keeping it open when there's an airport in Exeter which is 45 minutes away by car. There have been calls by locals to open it again for some reason, uproar over proposed plans for it to all be turned into a large housing estate with people petitioning to save it and hopefully reopen at a later date as an airport as it should be. Today though, the paper printed a story about a zoo was going to be built over that plot of land. That would be a great idea... in fact, it is a great idea. Would have been good for the city to have that, so it's a shame it's clearly an April Fools.
